Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) program aims to enhance students’ understanding and skills in digital entrepreneurship at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Central Jakarta. The program was initiated due to students’ limited ability to integrate digital technology into modern entrepreneurial concepts, particularly in product innovation, promotion, and online business management. The implementation method adopted a participatory approach involving workshops, practical simulations, digital marketing training, and direct mentoring in creating social media promotional content. The activity emphasized a learning by doing model, enabling students not only to understand theoretical concepts but also to apply them in real situations. The results show significant improvements in students’ ability to utilize digital platforms such as Instagram Business, Canva, and WhatsApp Business for school-based entrepreneurship projects. Students demonstrated higher creativity in product branding, content creation, and teamwork collaboration. This program effectively nurtured digital entrepreneurial mindsets and adaptive technological behavior, thereby strengthening students’ readiness to face future challenges in the digital economy.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Jakarta in managing simple financial practices as a foundation for becoming independent and competitive young entrepreneurs. The main issue faced by students is the lack of understanding of basic financial management concepts for both personal and business purposes, such as expenditure planning, transaction recording, and cash flow control. The training was conducted by the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, on December 7, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 WIB, involving 23 participants. The method used was a participatory approach through counseling, interactive discussions, simple financial recording simulations, and exercises in preparing small business budgets. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of financial recording and capital management in entrepreneurial activities. Participants also became more motivated to plan their personal and business finances systematically using simple record-keeping formats based on Excel tables or manual cash books. This activity had a positive impact on improving financial literacy among madrasah students and fostering a rational and responsible entrepreneurial spirit. In the future, this program is expected to be developed into more practical follow-up training by integrating digital technology to support entrepreneurship learning within the madrasah environment.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve digital literacy among elementary school students in Kedah, Malaysia through introducing robotics and Scratch programming. The main issue faced was students' limited exposure to computational thinking and STEM-based learning. Through intensive training provided by Universitas Muslim Indonesia, students from 13 schools were equipped with fundamental skills in visual programming using Scratch and basic robotics concepts. The training was officially opened by the Special Officer to the Minister of Education Malaysia and covered introduction to computational thinking, hands-on Scratch programming, and educational robotics demonstrations. Results showed significant improvement in students' understanding of programming concepts and increased enthusiasm towards technology. Additionally, an educational module was created for continued learning. The program successfully enhanced students' digital literacy and received strong appreciation from school principals who expressed interest in ongoing collaboration for similar activities.
