Abstract

National character education in the perspective of Islamic education is only a small part of the character. Character education or moral education is only like a salt in the oceans. The concept of morality in Islam has a very close relationship with faith and sharia, even is the unity that cannot be separated. Therefore, to realize the noble character in themselves a Muslim, the first thing to do is to build a strong faith, and implement all the provisions of the existing Islamic in the Quran and Hadith, which carry out or perform righteous deeds. With the two in this way, noble character will be formed and sturdiness. The concept of character education in Indonesia is already there, but not yet perfect in the perspective of Islamic education. This is because the reference value and the source of which can still be interpreted any, and also the concept of character education from the Ministry of Education and Culture has not shown a model of the ideal human character, because they do not have a clear model and empirical. While the Prophet Muhammad has been proven to make an ignorant society turn into people who are qualified. on according to the Quran includes education to form four following manners: a) honest; b) discipline; c) responsibility; and d) hard work, which are based on the faith education. tors , contents, methods, teaching media, space and time, and showed a close relevance to the development of education today, education in general and education in particular with the Islamic style.

Abstract

This article is a qualitative research explained by descriptive-inferential method and analyzed by method of hermeneutics of Hans George Gadamer. Nurcholish Madjid (1939-2005) had more thorough idea about the objective of Islamic education. The ultimate goal of human life is ‘abd and khalîfah. God gives emotions and fit}rah to achieve it. Emotion, lead by knowledge, will bring human to the goodness or badness. ‘Abd and khalîfah has manifested in good worshiping and good in social life.

Abstract

Menurut Undang-undang No I tahun 1974 pasal 1 ayat 1 tentang Perkawinan disebutkan bahwa ”Perkawinan ialah ikatan lahir batin antara seorang pria dengan seorang wanita sebagai suami isteri dengan tujuan membentuk keluarga (rumah tangga) yang bahagia dan kekal berdasarkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa. Tujuan undang-undang yang sangat mulia ini pada kenyataannya tidak mudah untuk dicapai. Karena pada dasarnya membentuk dan membangun rumah tangga ternyata lebih mudah daripada mempertahankan keutuhan keluarga itu sendiri. Perkawinan yang kuat tidak terjadi dengan begitu saja tetapi perlu diupayakan dan diperjuangkan. Pasangan suami isteri harus punya niat yang kuat untuk berusaha meningkatkan hubungan mereka. Salah satu kunci untuk mempertahankan perkawinan dan keluarga yang kuat adalah komitmen.

Abstract

Personality and social character relate to good and bad human behavior. Personality and social character are the basis for knowing oneself which can help a person to control his desires, protect himself from deviant behavior and direct his life towards goodness and harmony in behavior. The phenomenon of the emergence of various personality deviations and social characters among the younger generation is a problem that must be resolved immediately because it will lead to disharmony in the life of society and the nation. Pesantren is an educational institution that can be a solution to solving moral problems that occur. The education held at the pesantren is very relevant in developing the personality and social character of students so that they become Islamic individuals. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation, and results of personality development and social character through habituation at Nurul Amal Ciamis Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive narrative. Data collection procedures use data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the planning for the development of the personality and social character of students through habituation at the Nurul Amal Islamic Boarding School through the creation of curricula, program activities, preparation of teaching human resources, and the availability of supporting infrastructure. The implementation of personality and social character development is carried out by asatidz and asatidzah with habituation through annual, semester, monthly, daily and spontaneous programs. The personalities of students that are formed are the correct faith, correct worship, morality, independence, broad insight, in good health, regular in matters, guarding time, fighting lust, and beneficial to others. Meanwhile, the social characters that are formed are social care, environmental care, tolerance, communication, and responsibility.

Abstract

The current educational process is moving from a monotonous, indoctrinate, teacher-centered, top-down, mechanical, verbal, and cognitive process. However, there is an impression that the current practice of Islamic education is sterile from the context of the reality that it is unable to contribute to the various problems that occur. One of the educational problems in adolescents is reflected in the data from the social services. There are five of the eight cases handled by the social service for the protection of women and children are juvenile delinquency cases. Therefore, we need an interpretation and reorientation as well as a paradigm shift from current educational practices. As Muslims, we have the Messenger of Allah as a role model for education. The teaching prophetic techniques and methods can change generations and create a masterpiece in the form of khairu ummah. Among the principles of prophetic education is to strengthen faith before studying the Qur'an. Prophetic education also has a basis on which to become the foundation. The implementation of prophetic education itself consists of several processes, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. This study aims to examine the entire process of implementing prophetic education at the secondary school level, especially in SMP Bina Insan Boarding School. The research method used is field research and library research. The data are then analyzed theoretically and philosophically for further conclusions.

Abstract

The Islamic moderation is the efforts to tend the tradition and making the equalled idea of gracious Islam. The purpose of this research is to delve the moderate Islam which becomes the deals between the right extreme group and the left extreme group. This is the solution from many horizontal conflicts which is caused by the different perception of religion nowadays. The method that used by the researcher in this study is the scientific method analysis. This analysis is the way which is using many procedures to analysing and making the valid conclusion from the document. In this implementation, the writer researches many literatures, manuscript, particularly the education journals to study which is related to this research. The result from the research finds that popularizing Islam moderate in Indonesia is the obligation. The concern Islam is not only about worship, but also caring to all Muslims, moreover for all the human being with the different background own. Regarding and caring the natural sustainability is the Islamic teaching of hablum minal alam obligaton. Created as rahmatan lil ‘alamanin thought, that is one of the Islam moderate reference, returning the real of Islam which is known as the religion of full of grace and affection. The Islam moderate or also called wasatiyyah al-islam is Islam which always indicated by harmony, impartiality, wisdom, tolerance, acceptance, respect, inclusive, non-violence, non-extremism, non-radicalism and non-terrorism. The existence of living safe, peacefulness, and welfare in this world is according to Islam. That is one of the biggest religion in the world. Abstract

Moral education is education which is about the basics of morals (morals) and the virtue of character, the traits a child must have from childhood until he becomes a convert. Morals are closely related to human thought patterns, attitudes and behavior. Good morals or noble morals are attitudes and behaviors that must be possessed by every Muslim, either directly related to Allah Almighty, or to His creatures. Regarding the moral education, the researcher studied the thoughts of Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah (HAMKA), a prominent scholar from Minangkabau. This study is to determine the moral education according to HAMKA, both for students and for the community. Moreover, some of HAMKA's thoughts on Islamic Education, many say that the form of all his thoughts on the issue of Education is to emphasize more on mental education or morals. The objectives of this research are: 1) To know the basis of moral thought according to HAMKA, 2) To know the purpose of moral education according to HAMKA, and 3) To find out the moral education according to HAMKA and its relevance to Islamic religious education. This study uses library research (library research) with descriptive analysis method, namely by collecting data, compiling and classifying, compiling and interpreting it. This descriptive study was carried out by collecting data, classifying the data, then formulating the rules for compliance contained in the data. The results of the research conducted by the intruder is that according to HAMKA, the moral basis is an inner temper that can change so that if it arises based on reason and religion, a good character will emerge and vice versa if it arises not based on reason and religion, a bad character will appear or is often called with a despicable character. The sources of moral education according to HAMKA are the Koran, Assunah, tawhid, and reason.

Abstract

This article seeks to elaborate on the contribution of education in fighting corruption in Indonesia. By using the literature study method, this study found that the problem of corruption can be minimized through education because education is a human need. The concept of anti-corruption education is all efforts to reduce and eradicate corrupt behavior through programs in learning to provide awareness to individuals about the causes and consequences of corrupt behavior and encourage future generations to develop a firm resistance to any form of corruption. Learning programs that contain anti-corruption values are carried out in a meaningful manner so that they will remain strong in the minds of students so that they will firmly reject various forms of corruption.

Abstract

At this time all countries in the world are being hit by a major disaster caused by the Covid- 19 virus. Covid-19 virus is apparently having an impact in the world of education is no exception to the learning of Islamic religious education. In an emergency such as this Islamic religious education learning still has a very important role for students when facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Because in essence the aim of learning Islamic religious education is to increase the faith, understanding, appreciation and practice of students about Islam so that they become Muslim people who believe and have the piety of Allah SWT and have good character in their private lives, in society, nation and state. The purpose of this study is to identify the problematics of Islamic religious education learning in teaching and learning activities online (in networks) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses the field research method (Field Research) and uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were interview and observation. While the data analysis in this study uses qualitative data that is presented without calculation of numbers. The respondents of this study were one of the homeroom teachers and class.

Abstract

Learning the art of calligraphy based on chemical experiments is an activity of learning the art of calligraphy in developing the potential of students to foster creativity, instill value, and develop productive abilities by using harmless materials, namely using colored plants. The purpose of this research was to determine the process and to obtain calligraphy work in learning the art of calligraphy based on chemical experiments. The type of method used in this research is field qualitative research. The data sources in this study were divided into two: first, primary data sources consisting of the principal, educators, and students of SDN 8 Kawunglarang Rancah; second, secondary data sources obtained through tracing of various references. Furthermore, the data collection instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the data analysis techniques used, namely through three stages including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the process of learning the art of calligraphy based on chemical experiments includes the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The work of SDN 8 Kawunglarang students is still in the basic stages so there are several mistakes in its making.
