Abstract

The quality of education in an institution is held by their spearhead, namely the teachers and education staff in it. Human resources must have the competence to respond to various challenges of globalization. Therefore, it is necessary to develop human resources that are right on target by taking into account current strategic issues. The research methodology used is a qualitative method, namely literature review obtained through various library media, both print media such as books, magazines, newspapers, journals, or non-print digital media. In this study, the authors put forward a number of competencies that must be possessed by educational human resources related to the current rapid flow of globalization, and strengthening the integrity of IMTAQ and Science and Technology as the basis for human resource development in Islamic educational institutions and a brief presentation of the results of experimental research in an educational institution that integrates IMTAQ education and science and technology in learning. The results of this study show that the main competence that must be possessed by educational human resources is socio-economic interdependence. Strategic issues that must be put forward in the development of human resources in Islamic educational institutions are the currents of globalization which have an impact on aspects of technological development, economic development, socio-political and cultural development. The steps that must be taken by Islamic educational institutions are to strengthen the development of human resources in educational institutions on the basis of strengthening IMTAQ and Science and Technology.

Abstract

This study aims to elaborate on the concept of education and the concept of thought in Islamic education. This concept which is commonly studied in educational philosophy is seen as important considering that the study of educational thought is closely related to efforts to build the foundation of Islamic education. This study uses the literature review method, in which the researcher reviews books, journal articles, proceedings of relevant scientific activities, then analyzes them before writing them down in the text of this scientific article. The results of the study show that Islamic educational thinking is a fundamental field in the study of Islamic education. The thought of Islamic education is a place for the development of the foundations and foundations of Islamic education. Through the thought of Islamic education, every concept and theory of Islamic education is formulated and then developed in the realm of Islamic education practice. Islamic educational thinking is the starting point for the development of Islamic educational disciplines. Without the discipline of thought in Islamic education, it will be difficult to develop operational concepts and educational theories.

Abstract

In our contemporary day, it appears to be getting harder to expand Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The management model needs to be updated and made more relevant in order to compete with other public institutions. As a result, the subject of raising educational standards must be taken seriously by all parties involved. This has a lot to do with leadership and management in educational institutions. Additionally, in order to raise educational standards, consideration must be given to all facets of the school, including inputs, processes, and outputs. The quality of education is viewed as crucial for development and change in all departments, especially leadership and management departments. Success in education depends on efficient management, which calls for effective leadership. Organization, direction, and supervision, as well as constant evaluation and monitoring for future actions, are all managerial responsibilities of a leader.

Abstract

Since humans are determined to demand progress in their lives, since then education is needed in creating ideas or ideas to develop the potential that exists within them. Historically, education has always accompanied every generation to guide humans to be in accordance with the times. Various kinds of educational curricula have been made based on the theory of education that has been developed, starting from the theory of traditional education, western education, even though Islamic education. Every time the policy makers change, the education curriculum changes too. The fundamental question that needs to be asked is what kind of curriculum is in accordance with the characteristics of the Indonesian nation? This paper will describe a comparison of traditional education, western education and Islamic education. This is done in an effort to avoid unilateral claims that true education is Islamic education. So that the results of this comparison, we can find education with what kind of model is in accordance with human nature.

Abstract

Digital podcasts (audio/video) can be a new innovation for learning development, especially at the school education level. Teachers and students can take advantage of audio podcasts as a learning tool in schools. This research was conducted at SMA Plus Darussalam Ciamis using a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that digital podcasts can be used as a medium of learning at SMA Plus Darussalam Ciamis. In addition to its contents regarding learning information, there is other information such as general knowledge about Islamic boarding schools, etc., because SMA Plus Darussalam is under the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This article aims to explore character education strategies in the social media era. This study is considered important because the era of social media really has a serious effect on children's character. This study uses the literature review method, in which the researcher reviews books, journal articles, proceedings of relevant scientific activities, then analyzes them before writing them down in the text of this scientific article. The results of the study show that character is essentially formed when it is habituated and repeated. With regard to character education strategies, character education can be applied to all subjects. Every subject related to norms needs to be developed and related to everyday life. In this era of social media, the role of family, teachers and society is very important in improving children's character. The family as the main and first place for students to live their lives needs to supervise and guide children in a loving, firm and careful manner. In this era of social media, the teacher's role in building the character of students will be increasingly difficult and complex. Teachers not only teach good character, but also how to direct students to implement noble character in everyday life. As a role model, the teacher must apply good character to himself.

Abstract

This study is driven by the impact of globalization, which, although having great effects on human labor, also has detrimental effects on human behavior, particularly among teenagers. Teenagers appear to lack etiquette and exhibit moral decay, with an escalating engagement in diverse criminal activities and hedonistic lives. The objective of this study is to determine the methods for effectively cultivating virtuous moral principles using sociodrama. This study employs a qualitative methodology. The findings of this study encompass the thematic elements employed in the sociodrama approach, utilizing folk stories and fairy tales derived from indigenous societies. These narratives are imbued with moral teachings and possess a high degree of comprehensibility. The process of inculcating virtuous ethical principles through sociodrama is comprised of three distinct phases: preparation, execution, and conclusion.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain endeavors aimed at cultivating students' character through the medium of music. This study employs qualitative methodologies, primarily focusing on conducting descriptive investigations. Data collecting involves utilising primary and secondary sources, encompassing theories, factual information, and documents pertaining to music, education, and character. Data analysis employs descriptive analysis, which involves the theoretical description of data through data collection, data reduction or simplification of theories and concepts, presentation of data by attempting to derive conclusions from various theories and concepts, and data verification, which entails rechecking the accuracy of the drawn conclusions and making necessary adjustments. The research findings indicate that music can contribute to attaining educational objectives, particularly in fostering the growth of an individual's personality and character in alignment with society's values and norms. The objective is to cultivate conscientious attitudes and conduct in individuals, positively contributing to society, nation, and state advancement.

Abstract

This study describes materials that contain tolerance learning in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education textbooks at the junior high school level. The purpose of this study in general is to describe tolerance learning in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education textbooks at the junior high school level. This research is important to do so that in the future tolerance learning materials can be delivered in accordance with the portion to students, so as to counteract intolerance and radicalism behavior for students. This study uses a literature study with a qualitative approach that analyzes the contents of textbooks on PAI and Budi Pekerti published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Merdeka Curriculum (Class 7 and 8 Books) and the Revised 2013 Curriculum (Class 9 Books). The data obtained was then collected and analyzed using the content analysis method. Data analysis techniques in this study used 3 data analysis steps, namely: data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study show that textbooks for PAI & BP at the junior high school level promote tolerance. Thus, this research can be a reference for future researchers in researching tolerance learning related to other PAI books, as well as in the context of comparative textbooks.

Abstract

This essay aims to elucidate and examine the intricacies of cognition and the wide range of implementations (tathbîq) of Islamic jurisprudence. The author's research concluded that the dynamics of Islamic legal thinking arise from the inherent limitations of human understanding in comprehending the intentions of Allah and His Messenger. Hence, the author advocates for the significance of engaging in ongoing dialogues to pursue the ultimate truth and obtain divine validation. This study aims to raise awareness among Muslims about the significant influence of social, political, economic, and cultural factors on the implementation of Islamic law in society.
