Abstract

This research is related to the interest in activities at Padepokan Cakra Manggilingan Tanjunganom Nganjuk which instill monotheism and love for the homeland through cultural studies, with a qualitative descriptive approach, the results of this study are that cultural studies are one of the effective media to prevent the spread of radical ideology. The participants carefully practiced the teachings of Islam, drew closer, and felt inferior before Allah subhanahu wataala and loved the homeland and avoided acts of violence in religion.

Abstract

This research focuses on the fanwar phenomenon that occurs between fans versus haters on Instagram. By using the netnographic method, researchers did non-participatory observations on the accounts of haters and fans on Instagram. The object of this research is Once as a fan group and Thrice as a hate group. The results of the study show that the fan war that occurs on Instagram has several forms, such as fan war through the comments column, through indirect messages and uploads via Instagram stories. During the war process, fans and haters always use harsh, aggressive and disrespectful words or better known as flaming. hassle and block are two events used by fans and haters to avoid fanwar. As fans, fans take the fight to the haters group by creating a counter account to fight the haters account on Instagram. With this resistance aimed at fans not making haters stay silent, haters then create a rival Instagram account to fight the anti-haters account created by these fans.

Abstract

Today's media in preaching is not only through lectures and recitations. Various ways are used by preachers to invite people to goodness, one of which is through music. Da'wah is still very minimally researched and the discussion is still warm. This study discusses the impact of the da'wah of the Sholmet music group from the perspective of music psychology. Data will be collected and processed according to qualitative research methods by extracting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. After the data is collected, the data is processed by data reduction analysis, data presentation, and verification. Then check the validity of the data by using the triangulation method. The results showed that the sholawat music he brought was a reminder to keep chanting sholawat at all times, as advice or a reminder of goodness, and develop oneself into a skill. Psychology describes the stimulus-response (SR) process as part of communication that can function as a way of modifying a person's behavior. Music is considered as an expression of emotion. By listening to certain music, a person can experience mood swings.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of the device or gadget, which is the latest communication tool that must be owned by each individual in the new media era. Everyone's daily life is spent with gadgets that are equipped with all the features. It can answer every modern human need. Thus, gadgets have a significant impact, one of which is the attitude of being alone together. This research is a qualitative research that will reveal the impact of gadgets on the attitude of being alone together which indicates social and moral decadence. The results of this study indicate that gadgets have reduced social values ​​in which people communicate verbally and nonverbally. Social reality (not virtual reality) is the most important thing in building values ​​in society, but with this gadget telecommunication system, people are increasingly trapped in virtual reality. The construction of the alone together attitude is an attitude of unconsciousness where this is a form of abnormality, because what is called normality are those who can communicate face-to-face. This does not necessarily erase the presence of gadgets with all their positive impacts, but society must be able to balance the progress of the times with intelligent minds and religious points of view as well as religiosity and values ​​that are equally appropriate and also fill each individual's personal space.

Abstract

In pursuit of Islamic knowledge, Muslim women migrant worker create religious spaces where they can express their religiosity. In Malaysia, there are communities that specifically support Indonesian migrant workers, especially Muslims, including female migrant workers. One of the functions of the community is as a means of da’wah to Indonesian migrant workers. The purpose of this study was to explore the communication of da'wah in the Muslim community of women migrant workers in Malaysia. This research is qualitative in nature. The data of this study were analyzed based on Grounded Theory (GT). Data were collected through observation and semi-structured interviews conducted virtually. Then, it is analyzed through different coding stages, namely: open, axial, and selective. The results show that the communication in producing Islamic knowledge in the Muslim community is more informal, less traditional, and more interactive than the way Islamic knowledge is produced in mosques, Islamic organizations, and central IPMI. This community gives women the space to show religious autonomy as well as the production and transmission of Islamic knowledge for influencing the members' behavior. The process of changing behavior that occurs in the form of conformity, social facilitation, and polarization. These three forms of influence take place both in the dimensions of knowledge, belief, ritual, experience and religious commitment.

Abstract

This study interprets the discourse on polygamy recommendations for cadres of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) which is framed in national online news media. The national media selected as research objects are Kompas, Sindonews, and CNN Indonesia. News as the unit of analysis is the recommendation of polygamy for PKS cadres in the three online media. News is limited to 1 (one) news each, namely specifically published on September 30, 2021. The theory used to answer the discourse is the framing of Zongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. The conclusion of the study is that Kompas, Sindonews, and CNN Indonesia developed framing to disagree with the idea of polygamy for PKS cadres. The three online media construct the reality of polygamy recommended news for PKS cadres by developing framing with their respective goals. There is an ideological interest in the news construction built by the three online media

Abstract

Poetry is an expression of the soul that abstracts, summarizes the atmosphere of ideas in transcendental life and human experience, which is why da'wah messages can still be conveyed through poetry. One such poem was created by Gus Mus, with the titled Talbiyah dalam Kesendirian. The poem succeeded in touching feelings and attracting the attention of many audiences on Instagram social media, because it is considered very relevant to the pandemic situation and the conditions experienced by many people in the world during the pandemic mass. This study aims to explore the semantics of Talbiyah dalam Kesendirian poetry. The theory used is semantics. The study methodology used is qualitative with a library study approach. The analysis was carried out by identifying the elements of meaning including lexical - grammatical, referential - non-referential, denotative - connotative, words - terms, conceptual - associative, idiomatic - proverbs, and figurative meanings. The results of the study show (1) the meaning of the poem contains a message of da'wah in the form of reflections on glorifying the Oneness of Allah SWT, God's response to humans who have only been encouraging to this group of people, reflection on a request to God to lead back on the path that right at His command. (2) This solitude poetry can be used as an alternative to da'wah during the pandemic.

Abstract

This paper will be explain the differentiation of communication system in running website industry in Indonesia. Problems regarding abour regulation on ITE Law which is still dwelling on content, of courses also sees complexity of the website industry in Indonesia itself. However, this is problematic when content creator judge or defined as productive people in communicate via social media and others. Meanwhile, the owner of website see the rise of “Online Writer Services” (JPO) as benefit to expand their business. The main problem is automatically leads to communication between website’s owner and JPO which can have impact on the content. This happens as shaped of system implementation to deal with complexity on the distribution and production of content. This paper is expected able to describe the differentiation of communication system in running website industry in Indonesia along with the advantage and the disadvantage of the quality of content that created by system and infrastructure. The method uses in this paper is literature studies and concepts regarding system differentiation.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan berbasis keagamaan Islam yang telah ada sejak masa Kolonial. Namun seiring perkembangan zaman, posisi pesantren dianggap masyarakat bukan menjadi prioritas utama dalam pendidikan, berbeda dengan pendidikan formal seperti sekolah. Padahal pada dasarnya pesantren merupakan bagian dari penggerak perubahan sosial di masyarakat. Dalam penyelenggaraannya, pesantren tidak lepas dari yang namanya permasalahan terutama pada pesantren di wilayah kabupaten Mojokerto. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut muncul komunitas dakwah yang disebut KECAMBAH atau Kegiatan Cakap Membawa Berkah dengan tujuan memberdayakan pesantren di kabupaten Mojokerto. Metode penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa problem yang dihadapi pesantren di kabupaten Mojokerto adalah dari perspektif ekonomi, mitra dakwah, persepsi masyarakat terhadap kiai “bermodal”, pesantren sebagai alternatif sementara, serta sarana dan prasarana yang masih kurang memadai. Mengetahui situasi ini menunjukkan bahwa masih diperlukan adanya kesadaran masyarakat akan kesejahteraan dan perhatian bagi pesantren.

Abstract

The phenomenon of spirit dolls has recently become a hot topic of discussion. Many people treat this doll as if it were a baby, lavishing it with love and attention. It is the positive feedback from its users that has increased its popularity, and the price is also rising. Researchers investigated this using a qualitative approach and library research methods, focusing on the responses of the da'I and Islamic organizations to this spirit doll. As a result, the da'i studied all agreed that playing with and caring for the doll was permissible as long as it did not become excessive and became a wasilah to gain the glory and happiness of living in the world. The preachers gave teachings that addressed three different aspects: cognitive, emotive, and psychomotor. The da'i have imparted a great deal of information regarding dolls, spirits, and their many dimensions in a clear and obvious manner. The da'i also cautioned Muslims against becoming entangled in trends that could lead to polytheism. Finally, the da'i recommended people to make the most of their resources, energy, and time so that they can be channeled to the clear and good, such as caring for orphans, paying recompense and donations to those who are entitled, and a variety of other qualities.
