Abstract

Autism, as a complex developmental disorder in children with special needs, involves delays in aspects of cognition, emotion, behavior, and social interaction. This research proposes an innovation by applying UML modeling and Bayes Theorem Algorithm to detect the level of autism disorder in Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Pelita Hati. The SLB environment, faced with limited human resources and an increasing number of students, is a major challenge. The developed expert system provides an efficient solution with quick recommendations, reduces the expert's workload, and increases the detection accuracy of autism disorders. The expert approach with Bayes' Theorem provides an accurate insight into the complexity of autism disorders. Bayes' theorem is used to calculate the probability of events based on relevant observations. The application of UML modeling in the design of the expert system proved successful, producing an effective solution to support the diagnosis and treatment of autism disorders in SLB Pelita Hati. The results showed an accuracy of 94%, signifying a heavy level of confidence, with therapy recommendations such as Physiotherapy Therapy, Speech Therapy, Remedial Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, and Game Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integrity. This research makes an important contribution in addressing the challenges in autism diagnosis approaches in special education settings.

Abstract

Learning media at SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru City refers to blackboards and books that are already available, but do not yet have effective learning strategies. Lack of student interest in learning in the teaching and learning process which is not in accordance with the current development and needs of students. With increasingly advanced and rapid technological developments, humans can create various tools to carry out activities that support productivity. Like making educational game learning media. This research aims to produce a learning media product for the snakes and ladders educational game theme 4 about building space and to determine the feasibility test, practicality and effectiveness of the educational game snakes and ladders theme 4 about building spaces in class 2 of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru City. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. In the feasibility test, an assessment is carried out by two experts, namely a media expert and a material expert to determine the suitability of the product. Where the results of the feasibility test for media experts got a result of 82% in the "Very Good" category and for material experts a result of 93% in the "Very Good" category. In the practicality test, it was carried out by teachers and students, where the teacher got a practicality result of 93% in the "Very Practical" category and the students got a result of 80% in the "Practical" category. The effectiveness test was carried out by giving pretest and post-test questions, where the pretest got a result of 64% and the post-test got a result of 92.2%. So this learning media is feasible, practical and effective to use to support teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest palm oil producers in the world, so Indonesia has a role in meeting global demand for palm oil. Indonesia has extensive palm oil plantations in various states, producing around 43 million tons of palm oil. In general, Pekanbaru Riau, in the higher areas the soil is of the Red Yellow Podzolic (PMK) type, while in the lower areas the soil is peat type. PMK mineral soil has a thickness of organic soil material < 60 cm and some of it is still experiencing decomposition so it still contains a lot of fiber so that the agroecosystem on this soil will experience many problems, especially in dry areas with high slopes so that crop cultivation farmers have difficulty measuring soil moisture. Plant seeds cannot live and develop well if soil moisture does not meet requirements. For this reason, it is necessary to fertilize the seeds regularly, on a schedule and have sufficient water available. Based on the problems above, an oil palm tree nursery system was developed using the (Internet of Things) concept. Remote monitoring and control of the tool can be done via an Android application and real time internet access. From the test results of the two tools, namely the soil moisture monitoring system and the moist detector analyzer, the data obtained from soil measurements on oil palm seedlings shows very close measurement values, even from several experiments the data shown is very close, only 1-2%. Of course, from the data displayed the researcher made a comparison with the appropriate/unsuitable information as a reference for the suitability of this tool to be used

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis and Design of a Website-Based Information System for Registration of Hajj & Umrah Pilgrims at Travel PT. Nur Mekahiyah Wisata". The main objective of this research is to design and develop an effective information system to support the registration process, data management and consultation services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The methods used include requirements analysis, system design, implementation and testing. The research results show that this system is able to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy and transparency of the registration process, as well as providing a more effective experience for users.

Abstract

Cryptography is a data security technique by encoding data that is to be kept secret so that the original meaning of the data can no longer be understood. SIMON and SPECK are modern cryptographic algorithms issued by the National Security Agency (NSA). SIMON and SPECK are said to be algorithms that are known for their efficiency and strong security. This research will compare the performance of the SIMON and SPECK algorithms in securing digital images. Comparisons were made by testing time performance, changes in file size, and the level of randomness of image files using the Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI) and Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR) metrics. The research results show that the average encryption and decryption time required by the SIMON algorithm is greater when compared to the SPECK algorithm. The image file size resulting from encryption using the SIMON and SPECK algorithms both increased by 24% from the original image. The level of randomness of the resulting image based on the UACI value obtained using the SIMON algorithm was found to be an average of 19.65%, while the UACI value obtained using the SPECK algorithm was an average of 20.94%. This shows that there is a significant change in intensity between the original image and the encrypted image. However, not all pixels in the encrypted image change when compared to the original image, this is shown by the NPCR value obtained from the SIMON and SPECK algorithm encrypted image, with average results of 49.98% and 50.17%.

Abstract

Curah hujan merupakan parameter meteorologi yang memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, seperti kerusakan infrastruktur, gangguan transportasi, dan implikasi sosial-ekonomi. Prakiraan curah hujan tradisional sering kali tidak dapat mengatasi kompleksitas pola non-linear, variabilitas spasial, dan temporal curah hujan. Perkembangan teknologi seperti Internet of Things (IoT) dan penginderaan jauh membuka peluang baru dalam memperoleh data meteorologi yang kaya, namun analisis data ini memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih canggih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi curah hujan di Kota Pekanbaru, Riau, menggunakan algoritma Random Forest. Dataset yang digunakan merupakan data deret waktu (time series) dari Januari 2010 hingga Desember 2023. Data tambahan berasal dari citra penginderaan jauh satelit MODIS (variabel Land Surface Temperature) serta data meteorologi dari BMKG. Model ini dioptimalkan melalui hyperparameter tuning untuk meningkatkan akurasi prediksi. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan dengan parameter statistik seperti R-squared (R²), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), dan Mean Squared Error (MSE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Random Forest memberikan kinerja prediksi yang baik dengan R-squared sebesar 0.8266, MAE sebesar 1.3948, dan MSE sebesar 4.2100. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan akurasi prakiraan curah hujan, yang berguna untuk mitigasi risiko, peringatan dini, dan perencanaan pengelolaan risiko bencana di wilayah urban.

Abstract

Hoax news or fake news has become a significant problem in today's digital era, the news in question is information on job vacancies on social media, one of which is Twitter, which is widely discussed by job seekers. The spread of hoax news related to job vacancies can cause harm to job seekers who rely on this information to find work. Therefore, sentiment analysis of hoax job vacancies is important to help users distinguish between valid and hoax information. This study aims to analyze sentiment towards hoax news related to job vacancies on Twitter. The method used is the Naive Bayes method, which is a classification method commonly used in sentiment analysis. Hoax news dataset collected from job vacancy information will be processed and features that are relevant to job vacancies will be identified. Furthermore, the Naive Bayes sentiment analysis model will be developed to classify hoax news sentiment as positive or negative. The results of sentiment analysis will help users identify and avoid hoax news related to job vacancies. In addition, the results of sentiment analysis also improve the quality of the content displayed and strengthen user confidence in the information provided. It is hoped that this research will contribute to overcoming the problem of hoax news on Twitter, improve the quality of available information, and assist job seekers in making better decisions in finding work.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology means that information is becoming more abundant and diverse, including in the movie industry. The number of movies each year can reach tens of thousands with various genres, making it difficult for potential viewers to choose a movie that suits their interests. One solution to the problem is the existence of a recommendation system that can provide movie recommendations based on information on movies that have been watched previously. Collaborative Filtering is a widely used approach in recommendation systems. Collaborative Filtering offers recommendations based on the similarity between users for User-based methods and the similarity between items for Item-based methods. However, the similarity value can be high for data with high dispersion even though only one item is in common. The Hybrid method can be a solution to overcome this by combining User-based and Item-based methods and adding genre information from the items. The final prediction result is obtained from the prediction results of all methods combined using linear combination. The combination is done by giving weight to each method and then summarising it. This study aims to determine the impact of weighting variations on Hybrid User-based and Item-based Collaborative Filtering methods. The results obtained from this study show that More Dominant User-based and Very Dominant User-based weightings are superior to other weightings because they show good performance for a smaller list of recommendations.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has permeated various sectors, including cooperatives. Utilizing technology in cooperatives is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making. This study aims to design an integrated sales management system for ATK Mitra Kopontren Musa'adah. The current manual system has several drawbacks, such as data loss and inaccurate financial reports. By implementing an integrated information system, the cooperative is expected to produce more accurate, timely, and accessible financial reports, thereby improving its performance and transparency.

Abstract

CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) recordings have become one of the important instruments in monitoring and securing various places such as companies, commercial buildings, public institutions, and households. CCTV recordings are often vital evidence in investigating crimes, accidents, or other incidents. However, in addition to the visual content stored in CCTV recordings, metadata also plays an essential role in forensic analysis and event reconstruction. The NIST method has developed several techniques and guidelines for forensic metadata analysis on CCTV recordings. This research aims to explore and apply the forensic metadata analysis methods recommended by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) in the context of CCTV recordings. By involving forensic data analysis techniques and information security principles, this study will delve into the potential of metadata analysis in supporting criminal investigations, event reconstructions, and meeting the security standards established by NIST. This research is crucial in the context of digital security and modern forensic investigations. The outcome of applying the NIST methods in forensic data analysis of CCTV recordings is the preparation of an official report derived from the stages outlined in the NIST method, so that the report can serve as a reference in court, and the authenticity of the digital evidence can be validated. By applying the NIST method in forensic data analysis of CCTV recordings, the case handling process becomes structured and adheres to procedures, with a valid report ensuring the integrity of the digital evidence.
