Abstract

Growth conditions in the manufacturing sector increased by 2.06% from the previous year. These growth conditions affect the competitiveness of manufacturing companies, then employee performance becomes a matter that must be considered to maintain the competitiveness of the company. This study aims to analyze the performance of contract employees in manufacturing companies (PT. Xacti). This study uses some variables, such as nonfinancial compensation, training, and motivation to analyze the effect of contract employee performance. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with a sample of some contract employees (PT. Xacti). Data collected as many as 119 respondents by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results of the conclusion of this study are as follows: 1) Nonfinancial compensation proved to have a positive and significant influence on the Contract Employee Motivation at PT. Xacti, 2) Motivation has no positive effect on Contract Employee Performance at PT. Xacti, 3) Nonfinancial Compensation has no positive effect on Performance Contract Employees at PT. Xacti, 4) Training proved to have a positive and significant influence on Contract Employee Performance at PT. Xacti.

Abstract

PT Fuli Semitexjaya engaged in textiles that production sarong, fabric, and shirt. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work stress on turnover intention in workers at PT Fuli Semitexjaya. The method used is associative. Techniques of data collection are done by distributing questionnaires to 105 respondents in PT Fuli Semitexjaya. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction and work stress provide significant effect either partially or simultaneously on turnover intention in PT Fuli Semitexjaya.

Abstract

These research goals are to examine the effect of the bank-specific and macroeconomic variable to the level of risk in Indonesia. The sample is 107 conventional banks in Indonesia and the number of observation in 1177 during the period 2001 to 2011. Bank risk measurement uses the ratio of non-performing loans. The dependent variable used is non-performing loans. The independent variables are capital adequacy, asset growth, the percentage of foreign ownership, the percentage of government ownership, the percentage of public ownership, GDP growth and the bank loan growth. This study provides empirical evidence banks risk are positively significant influenced by the bank risk last year and negatively significant influenced by GDP growth. Other independent variables as capital adequacy, asset growth, the percentage of foreign ownership, the percentage of government ownership, the percentage of public ownership, and the bank loan growth not influenced by bank credit risk in Indonesian. Empirical results of this study have implications for practitioners banks, institutions banking authorities or the FSA and the development of the theory of risk associated with specific bank factors and macroeconomic factors that influence banking credit risk as the results of this study.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the distinctions of investor reactions based on its abnormal return before and after dividend disclosure at the ex-dividend date. An event study is applied in the period of 10 days before and after. Research is directed on the manufacturing sector that disclosed its dividend on Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) – Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of the Year 2011-2016. Purposive sampling is used on a total of 15 companies with its 112 events (of dividend disclosures). The main finding concludes that there is no significant difference in the abnormal return before and after dividend disclosure.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to measure operational risk in the telecommunications company using Value at Risk (VAR) model. VaR methods used in this paper are historical simulation and variance-covariance approach. The results of this paper indicated that the average value of historical simulation is smaller than variance covariance. Both methods show valid results when tested using backtesting methods. This result shows that both methods can be used to calculate the amount of risk reduction in operational revenue.

Abstract

The exists of Vending Machine which even socialite in purpose yet, cause many difficulties to passengers of KRL Commuter Line. The purpose of this research is to get to know how the quality services of Vending Machine based on Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The research method that use to write this research is a descriptive method. The method of gathering and collecting the data for this research are using the survei method and Purposive Sampling method. The research held in Jakarta with 121 people as a sample of research. The research variable that uses in this is a qualiyy service such as Tangibility, Realibility, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empty. This questionnaire organize based on a likert scale with the scale is 1 to 5. The analysis technique which is done is data measurements, questionnaires validity tests, questionnaires reliabilities tests, IPA Analysis. The result of GAP score from those five is gain with the average of customers satisfaction levels which are negative, it means that customers are not satisfied with the Vending Machine services. So, it still necessary to open the tickets sales through a locker while keeping on socialite about how to use Vending Machine which are hope, in the future will make a Commuter Line ticket sales become easier. The main points that should be fixed in order to increase the quality services of Vending Machine are room cleanness, the shortest line of services, the fastest and goodness employe eon giving information, responsiveness when some mistakes happened.

Abstract

The research objective would like to know the analysis of financial statements to assess the performance of the company at PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten. The research method is a method of time series analysis, which is done by comparing the financial statement for several years (period) so that it can be seen in developments and trends. Analysis using ratio analysis can provide an assessment of the company’s financial performance, terms of the ratio of liquidity, solvency and profitability as well as it’s financial performance target are given from PT PLN Kantor Pusat, among others Biaya Pokok Penyediaan (BPP), OPEX Non Fuel, Umur Piutang Pelanggan (COP), Pertumbuhan Penjualan, Penyerapan Disburse Investasi APLN, Pengadaan Kendaraan Listrik dan Biaya Administrasi per Pelanggan. The data used are secondary data which includes the company’s financial balance sheet and income statement for three (3) years 2011-2013. Conclude the performance of PT PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten viewed from the perspective of the general financial performance achievement in 2012 is better than in 2013 and 2011, while the achievement of the performance of the year 2013 at the lower of the two periods in 2011 and 2012 related to the change in policy and a good rule of the rule of the central government or Kantor Pusat PLN

Abstract

This study aimed to describe response of public and retail stores in the Bandung city about cooperation (partnership) conducted by Go-Mart which is a business unit of PT. Go-Jek Indonesia. The research method used was case study (about Go-Mart), which interview and survey was conducted on retail store and people in Bandung. The data analysis technique used was describe the survey result (diagram) and NMAx. The calculation result (Nmax) is used as a consideration for feasibility cooperation. In addition, the willingness of society to make purchases using Go-Jek and willingness retail stores to join with Go-Mart be other factors that are discussed in this study. This study also conducted an analysis of the feasibility of cooperate between retail store and PT. Go-Jek Indonesia (Go-Mart). This study is limited to objectives, activities, and cash flows of the partnership were probably carried out by retail business with Go-Mart. Development model of financial planning analysis is done in order to help retail businesses to decide to join the Go-Mart or not. In addition, this design also helps Go-Mart to determine the exact costs to be imposed on its partners.

Abstract

The purpose of this study examined the consumer behavior of coffee connoisseurs after a visit to a shop or café. This study also aims to analyze what factors influence them visiting the café. The researcher distin-guished two groups of types of places. Are there differences in consumer behavior towards the two types, Café type 1 refers to foreign ownership of the example of The Starbuck café and The Bean café. Café type 2 refers to domestic ownership such as The Excelso cafe, The X-Café, The JCo, The KFC and the Warteg. Factors observed in consumers are cultural, social, personality and psychological variables. The number of visitor respondents is not known with certainty, so convenience sampling is used with the number of re-spondents as many as 200 people in the community of staff, campus lecturers and students of Binus Uni-versity. The analytical tool used is SmartPls version 3. The results of this study indicate that cultural, per-sonality and social variables have a significant effect on consumer site selection behavior. Consumer be-havior visits the location of a larger type 2 café (local ownership) rather than type 1 (foreign ownership). The larger type 2, it is probable that positive perceptions of name, equality and price are unfortunately, but it not examined in this study. The end of the study included suggestions for further researchers.
