Abstract

Companies interact with various stakeholders in conducting their business activities, including directors/management, controlling and non-controlling shareholders, the government, employees, and the community. Resources are not limited to financial capital derived from shareholders or creditors, but also include intellectual capital and labor skills, regulatory capital, public services and infrastructure provided by the government, natural resource capital, and social capital from society. Corporate governance is a system of relationships among parties with an interest in a company or organization.In the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the banking sector, it is essential for banks to carry out a careful and phased approach based on an analysis of the bank’s conditions and level of readiness, so that GCG implementation can run smoothly and gain support from all elements within the bank. The Indonesian banking GCG guidelines explain that the regulation and implementation of GCG require strong commitment from top management and all organizational levels. Implementation begins with the establishment of basic policies (strategic policies) and a code of ethics that must be adhered to by all parties within the company.In the banking industry, risk refers to events with predictable and unpredictable potential that may negatively impact a bank’s income and capital. Therefore, at the initial stage of risk management implementation, banks must be able to identify risks comprehensively, both existing risks and those that may arise in the future. After a thorough identification process, banks conduct risk measurement, monitoring, and control. Risk measurement aims to enable banks to calculate the value of the risks faced so as to estimate their impact on capital. Operational risk is the risk arising from inadequate and/or failed internal processes, human error, system failures, and/or external events that affect company operations. Operational risk may originate from human resources, internal processes, systems and infrastructure, as well as external events.

Abstract

Effective management of educational facilities and infrastructure plays a crucial role in supporting the quality of learning and ensuring the sustainability of educational activities. However, many schools still encounter various challenges, including inaccurate inventory records, inadequate routine maintenance, and limited human and financial resources. This study aims to examine strategies for inventory management and maintenance of educational facilities through a literature review approach. Data were collected from accredited academic journals, educational management textbooks, and relevant national education regulations. The findings indicate that effective management strategies include the implementation of digital-based data collection systems, systematic asset classification, preventive maintenance practices, and the involvement of administrative staff as well as external technical personnel. Furthermore, emerging challenges in facility and infrastructure management can be addressed through principal-led policies, continuous staff training, and active participation of the school community. The results of this study provide both conceptual and practical contributions for educational institutions in developing a sustainable, transparent, and accountable asset management system that supports the improvement of educational quality

Abstract

Infusion therapy is a critical medical procedure widely applied in healthcare facilities, particularly in emergency situations to maintain patients’ fluid balance. However, blood backflow in infusion tubing may cause blockage and increase the risk of clinical complications. This study aims to design and evaluate a blood detection device integrated into an infusion tube to enhance patient safety and support continuous monitoring by healthcare professionals. An experimental method was employed by developing a microcontroller-based system using Arduino Uno, a TCS3200 color sensor for blood detection, and a buzzer as an alert indicator. System testing involved sensor calibration using multiple color variations and simulation of blood backflow conditions in infusion tubing. The results demonstrate that the TCS3200 sensor reliably detects red color as an indicator of blood presence, while other colors such as yellow and pink are not detected. A stable output voltage of 2.2 volts indicates consistent system performance. Overall, the proposed device effectively detects blood-induced blockage in infusion tubing and shows strong potential as a simple early warning system for clinical applications

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial phase in the human life cycle, marked by continuous growth and maturation. During this period, various physical and biological changes occur that directly impact the health and nutritional status of adolescents. An imbalance between adequate and inadequate intake can lead to nutritional problems, both overnutrition and undernutrition. Therefore, measures are needed to improve knowledge, understanding, and awareness of proper nutrition. To determine whether there is an effect on improving nutrition knowledge in students before and after health interventions. This research is an experimental study using a pre-experimental design. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population was 36 students from SMAN Banjarmasin. Based on the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, with a p-value <0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest implementation of the nutrition education method.Health education about nutrition for students of SMAN Banjarmasin resulted in an increase in knowledge about nutrition, nutritional status, BMI, and nutritional problems in students, namely in the categories of good knowledge and sufficient knowledge and there were no more who had insufficient knowledge and had a positive impact on the knowledge of students of SMAN Banjarmasin

Abstract

Education is the main foundation of civilization. During the Abbasid Dynasty, advances in science and education reached their peak through the synergy between political power, culture, and Islamic spirituality. In contrast, modern education in Indonesia still faces an epistemological crisis due to the weak integration between revelation, reason, and social reality. This study aims to identify the key factors behind the success of Abbasid education, analyze its relevance to Indonesian educational issues, and formulate conceptual solutions for improving the quality of national education. The methods used are literature study with content analysis, comparative analysis, and reflective-philosophical analysis. Data were obtained from primary and secondary sources through the selection of digital literature and scientific documentation. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically to reconstruct the philosophical and systemic principles of Abbasid education in a contemporary context. The results of the study show four main factors behind the success of the Abbasids: (1) political support from the caliph and scientific policies that favored science; (2) inclusive socio-cultural diversity; (3) institutional innovations such as the Nizamiyah Madrasah and Bayt al-Hikmah; and (4) a rational-spiritual tradition that gave birth to an open scientific civilization. A comparison with Indonesia reveals an epistemological gap, in which national education remains pragmatic and administrative. Philosophical reflection has given rise to four principles for reorienting Indonesian education: epistemic leadership, scientific ethics based on spirituality, tauhidic inclusiveness, and integrative epistemology of revelation–reason–action. Recommendations emphasize science-based policies, revitalization of the academic ethos, strengthening of Islamic educational institutions, and an inclusive curriculum oriented towards the benefit of the people.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Digital Education Management Systems (DEMS) in improving the quality of technology-based learning. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, this research analyzes various theories, models, and previous studies related to the integration of technology in education management. The findings indicate that DEMS play a crucial role in enhancing educational quality by streamlining administrative tasks, facilitating personalized learning, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Additionally, digital leadership is found to be essential in ensuring the effective implementation of DEMS, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within educational institutions. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure limitations, resistance to technology adoption, and the digital divide remain barriers that must be addressed for optimal implementation. This study suggests the need for equitable access to technology and the professional development of educators and leaders to improve their digital literacy. Overall, while DEMS hold great potential to enhance technology-based learning, their successful implementation heavily depends on overcoming the existing barriers. Future research is recommended to further investigate strategies to bridge the digital divide and evaluate the long-term impact of DEMS on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction with ferry crossing services at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Merak Branch using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. Increasing passenger and vehicle mobility on the Merak–Bakauheni route requires continuous improvement in service quality to meet customer expectations. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing structured questionnaires to ferry service users. The questionnaire measured the level of importance and performance of service attributes using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using CSI to determine the overall level of customer satisfaction and IPA to identify priority service attributes for improvement and maintenance. The study involved ferry service users who had utilized the service at least twice, and data collection was conducted at Merak Port. The results indicate that the customer satisfaction index is in the moderate category, implying that service performance has not fully met customer expectations. IPA mapping shows that cleanliness and adequacy of facilities, waiting room comfort, and clarity of departure information fall into Quadrant I and require immediate improvement. Meanwhile, ticketing speed, staff friendliness, and passenger safety are located in Quadrant II and should be maintained. These findings provide practical implications for service providers to improve facilities, optimize information systems, and enhance staff performance to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.optimization, and continuous staff development to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

Abstract

Hospital-based health promotion services (PKRS) can impact a hospital's image. Although not explicitly impacted, hospitals must take development steps to achieve optimal hospital-based health promotion services. The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for the implementation of PKRS at Sawahlunto Regional Hospital by analyzing existing problems and providing solutions, work plans, and monitoring and evaluation plans. This qualitative study used internal hospital document analysis, retrospective field observations, and critical reflection on the processes and obstacles encountered directly in implementing PKRS at Sawahlunto Regional Hospital. The results indicate that the implementation of hospital-based health promotion services at Sawahlunto Regional Hospital is still suboptimal because the person responsible for implementing PKRS has only recently been established under the name PKRS Unit, the PKRS work program is still limited, and internal problems exist, such as limited human resources, funding, and facilities and infrastructure. Based on this research, it is necessary to optimize PKRS supported by the leadership, owners, staff, and stakeholders in the hope of providing comprehensive health services to the community

Abstract

Textbooks function not only as learning resources but also as powerful instruments for transmitting social values and gender ideology to students from an early age. This study aims to critically examine gender bias in the visualization of social roles and the concept of Gotong Royong (mutual cooperation) as presented in elementary school textbooks. Employing a critical content analysis approach, the research analyzes visual representations found in Pancasila Education and Social Sciences textbooks used at the elementary level. The findings reveal a significant gender paradox embedded within textbook illustrations. Although Gotong Royong is promoted as a collective and inclusive cultural value, its visual portrayal tends to emphasize masculine leadership and dominance in public roles. Male figures are repeatedly depicted occupying strategic and authoritative positions such as flag bearers, police officers, doctors, and community leaders. In contrast, female figures are predominantly represented in domestic, supportive, or subordinate roles. This visual segregation contributes to the formation of a hidden curriculum that subtly reinforces gender inequality, restricts female students’ aspirations in the public sphere, and normalizes the stigma of women’s “double burden.” Therefore, this study underscores the urgency of reconstructing visual representations in independent curriculum textbooks to promote gender equality and foster inclusive educational values

Abstract

This research aims to develop a website-based tour package booking system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the reservation process at “Ngetour” Organizer, which currently relies on conventional methods. At present, customers must place bookings through WhatsApp, and all reservation data are recorded manually by the admin. This approach is considered less efficient, particularly when the number of participants increases, as it is prone to human error, data duplication, and mismatched information. Such limitations may affect service quality and overall business performance.To address these issues, a web-based information system is designed to streamline the reservation process and support better business management. The system enables customers to browse tour packages, submit bookings, and complete payments more conveniently, while allowing administrators to manage orders and monitor transactions in a structured and organized manner. The development process applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to ensure faster and more flexible system creation. The application is built using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. Based on black box testing and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) evaluation, the system effectively improves booking management and user satisfaction
