The journal publishes writings on (1) historiography, (2) philosophy of history, (3) history of education, and (4) history educaiton. Historiography means the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. Historiography studies cover chronologically various themes, such as local history, social history, cultural history, economic history, political history, military history, intellectual history, environmental history, and other historical studies. Philosophy of history, the study either of the historical process and its development or of the methods used by historians to understand their material. History of education is a study of the past that focuses on educational issues. These include education systems, institutions, theories, themes and other related phenomena in the past. History education includes studies of how history teaches in school or society, curriculum, educational values in events, figures, and historical heritage, media and sources of historical learning, history teachers, and studies of textbooks.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Proses pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran audio visual untuk SMK kelas 10 dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (2) Kelayakan audio visual pada materi proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Sewon pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Reserch and Development). Peneliti menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu menggunakan langkah (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian audio visual untuk mengukur kevalidan, angket respon guru dan siswa serta observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengukur kepraktisan, dan prestasi belajar untuk mengukur keefektifan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran berupa audio visual pada materi proklamasi kemerdekaan indonesia dengan melakukan anaisis kebutuhan dan analisis kurikulum. Menyusunan rancangan audio visual serta penyusunan penilaian produk. Pengembangan dlakukan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dan instrument. Implementasi dilakukan uji coba produk di SMK N 2 Sewon dan dianalisis kekurangan dan kelebihan dari perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikeangkan. (2) Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan layak karena memenuhi kriteria valis, praktis, efektif. Penilaian kevalidan diperoleh skor 4,38. Penilaian kepraktisan menurut angket respon siswa diperoleh skor 3,99 dengan kategori praktis dan angket respon guru memperoleh skor 4,81 dengan ategori sangat praktis. Penilaian kepraktisan juga ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang presentasenya sebesar 80% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Penilaian keefektifan menurut tes prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 96,77% dan nilai rata-rata siswa diperoleh 75,32 yang menunjukkan lebih besar dari KKM yang ditentukan yaitu 70, sehingga perangkat pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning values on the topic of conservation in the Museology Course, Department of History Education, Yogyakarta State University. The learning model that is used is experiential-based learning, which is shaped by students' learning through direct reflection. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method conducted in the Museology and History of Tourism class, Department of History Education, Yogyakarta State University in 2021-2022 and Tata Kelola ISI Yogyakarta in Anak Bajang Museum. The results showed that experiential-based learning is a suitable method for learning museology with the theme of conservation. The reason for students in general is that direct practice provides direct experience so that conceptual understanding can be put into practice. The values obtained by students are having discipline, thoroughness, responsibility, cooperation, and patience, which are obtained when practicing and treating the diversity that is conserved. In addition, students also increase their care for historical heritage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity in learning History through Audio Visual Learning Media for Class XI IPS MA Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen Students.This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were all students of class XI IPS, totaling 28 students. The object of research is the activeness of students by using audio- visual media. Data collection techniqueswere obtained by observation and written tests. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of the research in Cycle I were 35% of students actively asked questions, 39% of students actively answered, 85% of students did assignments, 35% of students chatted and 71% of students remained silent, theresults of Cycle I showed that student activity was in the moderate category. While in Cycle II showed an increase, namely 89% of students actively asked questions, 86% of students actively answered, 92% of students did assignments, 21% of students chatted and 46% of students remained silent, in Cycle II it could be categorized as very high student activity. Thus the use of audiovisual media can increase student activity in history learning for class XI IPS MA Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the existence of Muhammadiyah youth in improving the faith of the Jogokariyan community, namely: (1) Muhammadiyah Youth's da'wah methods in improving the aqidah of the Jogokariyan community, (2) The development influence of Muhammadiyah Youth reform movement in Jogokariyan Village, (3) Hurdles and solutions of Muhammadiyah Youth in improving community aqidah in Jogokariyan Village. The research was conducted in Jogokariyan village using qualitative research methods with a narrative approach. The data was collected by doing interviews and direct observation of religious activities in Jogokariyan village, the data sources came from informants who were directly involved in Muhammadiyah youth organizations and the local community. The data in this research is analyze by triangulation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the da'wah methods used by Muhammadiyah youth in the Jogokariyan village were (a) The Hizbul Wathan (HW) movement, (b) Tapak Suci martial art training, (c) activities such as recitation of the Quran, (d) sports activities, (e) healthy walks and (f) social service activities. (2) Muhammadiyah Youth is the driving force of every religious activity carried out in Jogokariyan Village. Jogokariyan Mosque is theheadquarters of the movement and have influences on the development of movement renewal in Muhammadiyah Village. (3) the obstacles of Muhammadiyah Youth in improving aqidah in Jogokariyan Village were: lack of understanding of Islam because kejawen culture is still strongly believed and there are so many people whoracticed the tradition of gambling and drinking alcohol. That was some reasons that became obstacles for Muhammadiyah Youth at that time. The solution to this problem is to improve the performance of Muhammadiyah Youth to be more creative and innovative so that they can keep up with this technological era so they don't left behind from others.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research objectives: (1) The role of parents to foster children's learning interest in online social studies learning during the covid-19 pandemic, (2) Supporting factors for parents to foster children's interest in learning online during the Covid-19 pandemic, (3 ) Factors inhibiting parents from growing children's learning interest in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, (4) Solutions to overcome parental barriers to foster children's interest in learning in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were: parents and students of class VIII SMP N 2 Paliyan. The research was conducted at SMP N 2 Paliyan on May 15 to July 30, 2022. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data reduction, data exposure, and verification. Test the validity of the data in this study using a credibility test by increasing persistence and triangulation: sources, techniques and time. The results of the study: (1) The role of parents to foster children's interest in learning by providing enthusiasm, motivation, encouragement, supervising, and accompanying children during learning. (2) The factors that support parents in growing children's interest in learning are that children can follow, understand, do not fall behind in lessons, get good grades, and become smart children. (3) The inhibiting factor for parents is that not all parents master cell phones and lack understanding of learning materials. (4) The solution to overcome obstacles is that parents invite their children to read books, search for materials through the internet, ask for help from the community, and ask the teacher.Keywords: Role of Parents, Interest in Social Studies Learning, Online Learning, Covid-

Abstract

The nayor is a kind of traditional transportation that has great popularity up until the New Order era, when it becomes a symbol in the has become increasingly unusual because there are so many public transit options available right now. In an effort to foster character and the creative economy during the New Order era, the goal of this study was to learn the history of the development of nayor transit in Sukabumi Regency. The analysis and data gathering for this study included field observations, interviews, documentation, and literature reviews. According to the findings of important research, the nayor is atraditional vehicle that was first found in Cibadak, Sukabumi, West Java. During the New Order era, Nayor had achieved the pinnacle of its splendor and served the locals as a dependable mode of transportation. The community makes use of Nayor by using it for transportation or tours, creating unique routes for it as a tourist attraction, and hosting events with it. Nayor is able to connect with numerous isolated villages in the emerging creative economy. The factors that made nayor transportation popular and a popular tourist destination throughout the new order era defined the company's growth in terms of its contribution to the creative economy during that time.

Abstract

Madura Island has been known for a long time as a salt-producing island. The salt industry in Madura is known to have started in the 19th century. Under the salt monopoly policy imposed by the Dutch Colonial Government, the welfare of salt farmers has increased. After Indonesia's independence, the euphoria of freedom and nationalism colored almost all regions in Indonesia, including Madura Island. As an island that was known to be quite productive during the Dutch Colonial Government, Madura became one of the islands that the Government of Indonesia fought for. The existence of a Salt Company owned by the Dutch Colonial Government was one of the main causes. The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of the salt industry in Madura after Indonesia's independence in 1950-1975. This Article show that under the Indonesian government, the salt industry in Madura actually experienced a decline.

Abstract

This study uses the method of a literature review. The purpose of this research is to produce studies that are useful for understanding certain phenomena or deepening our understanding of Indonesian feminism. The result of this research is an understanding of the study of Indonesian feminism, which includes many themes and issues related to women's rights, gender equality, and violence against women. As a social and political movement, feminism in Indonesia has experienced developments and changes since its inception in the 1900s. However, feminism in Indonesia is also faced with many challenges, such as cultural and social resistance to the concept of gender equality, the use of religion and traditions as tools to justify discrimination against women, and a lack of awareness and understanding of feminist issues among the public. Overall, the study of Indonesian feminism is an important movement in advocating for women's rights and gender equality.

Abstract

This study aims to find out : 1) the use of museums as learning resources, 2) the use of museums in increasing interest in learnig history. 3) the use of museums to increase achievement in learning history. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data collecttion techniques in this study are by observing, document studies, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as verification and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking technique used is technical triangulation and source triangulation. The result of this study that : 1) by visiting the museum the existing collections can be utilized by students from learning resources by utilizing museums student become very activate because studets can  deeper knowledge about history so that various information that is in accordance with the material being taught can be obtained from museum visits, 2) by visiting museums or with virtual museums students can find out collection or historical object so that learning will be very enjoyable besides making students enthusiastic, the impact will certainly arouse student learning interest, 3) visiting museums can improve student achievement, this can be seen from the results of student tests before and after learning visiting museums or virtual museums, there is learning in a museum that can increase student interest in learning, student achievement will also increase based on test result data.

Abstract

Digital-based learning media is a medium used to create audio-visual media. Digital media is very suitable for use in social studies learning in the 21st century. In the 21st century students are expected to be able to master 21st century skills with the 4C concept of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, creative and innovative. The objectives of this study are 1) Knowing the steps for implementing digital media in 21st century social studies learning, 2) implementing digital media in 21st century social studies learning, and 3) evaluating the implementation of digital media using SWOT analysis in 21st century social studies learning. The research method used is qualitative by using the results of data analysis in the form of qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the research can be seen in the SWOT analysis which shows that the advantages of implementing digital media in social studies learning really need to be applied in the 21st century. Weaknesses in this study can be seen when observing students' attitudes in social studies learning on local history material regarding the role of local figures in fighting for Indonesian independence. Most of the students are still a lot preoccupied with themselves so that the center of attention is not fully paying attention to the future. In addition, it is a challenge for students to be able to express opinions and be more active. Opportunities in this study indicate that digital media is effectively used in the 21st century as a learning medium.
