Abstract

Picture card games are one type of game that can support early childhood education in aspects of language development to improve the acquisition of children's vocabulary. Mastery of vocabulary has an important function, because children who master a lot of vocabulary, tend to have high self-esteem.The purpose of this study is to describe more in-depth about the effect of picture card games on the acquisition of children's vocabulary. The method used is a quantitative research method using the design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sempel used in this study were 19 children in group B TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 57 Surabaya. Data were collected from the results of performance test observations, with a performance sheet observation instrument. The data analysis technique uses the t test formula.The results of this study indicate that t count obtained value (36.66) greater than the value of t table (1.79) at the significance level of 0.05 and (2.55) at the 0.01 significance level, then the Zero Hypothesis is rejected so the Hypothesis Work received. Thus it can be stated that "there is a positive influence between the activity of playing a picture card on the acquisition of children's vocabulary

Abstract

This research was driven by a change in the implementation of learning in PAUD during the Covid-19 pandemic virus, which was originally conducted face-to-face and turned into virtual. Based on this, the researcher wants to know the readiness, willingness and involvement of PAUD educators in implementing virtual learning. This research is a qualitative research with literature-based data sources collected from several articles contained in various international journals and surveys that have been conducted to about two hundred and fifty-six teachers in East Java who confirmed that as many as 10.5% stated strongly agree, as many as 50.4% agreed while 39.1% stated that they did not agree / were not willing to support efforts to implement virtual learning for early childhood. The results of this study are expected to be a recommendation for policy makers to carry out virtual learning in early childhood classes in order to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low ability of the Kindergarten Head in managing school administration. This was proven by the incomplete management documents of the school administration by 30 Kindergarten Heads in Sedati District. The purpose of the study was to improve the ability of the Kindergarten Head in the Sedati District in the management of school administration. The research subjects were 30 Kindergarten Heads in Sedati District. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collection method uses observation and documentation techniques. Data validation used in this action research is democratic, process and dialogic validation. Data analysis was performed by comparing results on initial conditions, results of cycle I, results of cycle II. The results showed that in the initial conditions 30 Kindergarten Heads were declared unable to manage administration well or 0% with an average rating of 40.29, increasing to 12 Kindergarten Heads or 40% in the first cycle with an average yield of 58.75 and 100% in the second cycle with the acquisition of an average value of 77.89. The explanation of the criteria for the value of the initial conditions is less, increasing to enough and good in the last cycle. looking at the data obtained from the results of research in this school ction research activity, it can be concluded that the K3TK activities in the Patronage of Sedati Subdistrict conducted by school supervisors for 30 Kindergarten Heads were declared successful in increasing the ability of the Kindergarten Head in managing school administration.

Abstract

Abstract The problem faced in this study is the reading ability of children aged 4-5 years old is still low, it is caused by teachers who tend to use classical learning strategies when introducing letters or words. To develop the reading ability of children aged 4-5 years old must be adjusted to the characteristics of early childhood, namely learning through play. One form of game stimulation that is able to develop children's reading skills is the snake and ladder game, by using the snake and ladder game in learning, it is expected that children's reading ability of 4-5 years old will develop optimally. This research uses the action research method, while the research design used is in the form of a cycle that refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggrat models with the following steps: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. In this study only reached the planner stage, namely making RRPM, RPPH and snake ladder games that have been modified by researchers to develop reading skills in children aged 4-5 years old, then the learning device is validated by experts and declared to meet practical aspects so that it is feasible to use to develop language skills of children aged 4-5 years old. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the ability to exercise with the ability to dance in early childhood group b aged 5-6 years TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 57 Surabaya. Ability is a potential for a person or individual to master expertise in doing or doing various tasks in a job or an assessment of someone's actions. Gymnastics is an activity that can stimulate physical-motor development in early childhood. Through gymnastics activities, it is hoped that other abilities or intelligences can also develop properly and can make children who are healthy, smart, cheerful and have character. Meanwhile, dancing is a feeling conveyed through beautiful rhythmic movements. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research design with Product Moment correlation. Data were collected using participatory observation techniques. The results of data analysis show that the value of rcount is 0.973. While the rtable index was 0.4227 for the 0.05 significance level, and 0.5368 for the 0.01 significance level with N = 20. Thus hypothesis 0 (h0) is rejected so that the working hypothesis (h1) is accepted. The r-count value = 0.973 is in the range of 0.800 to 1.00, including in the high correlation category between variable x and variable y.It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the ability to exercise and the ability to dance in early childhood group B aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 57 Surabaya. The relationship between the two variables is a symmetrical relationship, meaning that if one variable increases, the other variable also increases. Thus it can be said that there is a strong relationship between the ability of gymnastics to dance. This may imply that the better the child's exercise skills, the better the ability to dance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that learning still uses conventional learning. The media used is still using books or student worksheets. This causes teaching and learning activities for children to become bored and less varied. This is due to the lack of teacher media to convey learning to students. So that teachers prefer to use media that is easy and sober so that the development of children's reading skills has not yet developed optimally The aim of this research is to find out the effect of interactive multimedia on children's reading ability. The method used in this research is quantitative Pre Experimental with the design of "the one group pretest posttest". The sample in this study were 18 children in group A Kindergarten consisting of 10 male students and 8 female students. The data collection technique used is the method of observation and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the t test results Sig (0,000) <0.05 means there is an influence. This means that interactive multimedia affects the reading of group A children.

Abstract

Cognitive as a thought process in the form of the ability to connect, assess and consider something. One of the cognitive abilities that children can develop is to recognize the concept of shape, color and size. Introducing the concept of shape, color, and size to children is important because color, shape and size are the most visible features in the world around us and can help children solve problems in life and adapt to their environment. There are 4 stages of child development, namely motor sensory, concrete pre-operation, concrete operation, and formal operation. Through play activities that contain education, children's thinking powers are stimulated to stimulate emotional, social and physical development. Utilizing the surrounding environment as a means and source of learning by giving children the opportunity to explore experiences gained orally or with creative media. The use of blocks in early childhood education is intended to develop various abilities of children, in addition to providing opportunities for children to explore. Educational game tools (APE) for early childhood are always designed with in-depth thinking tailored to the child's age range. Game tools for children aged 4-5 years are made simpler and not too difficult compared to games for children aged 5-6 years which are more difficult to work on.

Abstract

This research is motivated by activities that rarely pack the learning in the form of games, so the child will only struggle with the child work sheet provided by the teacher only. Thus the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between gross motor skills in children aged 4-5 years with the activity of playing ESKA. The method used is quantitative method using experimental research design with product moment correlation technique with sample size 20 children aged 4-5 years. The data collection technique used is performance observation with correlation performance test instrument. Data analysis technique used is correlation test. From the results of the analysis through the correlation test obtained that r-count (0,863) and r-table (0,444) at α 5%. Thus r-count > r-table so that (H0) is rejected and (H1) accepted.

Abstract

Abstract Child’s emotional development is very influential on the development of child’s personality, where children have different emotional/temperament: children with easy temperament, children with difficult temperament, children with slow temperament. In this research, the researcher wants to analyze phenotypic in the scope of psychological character, that is the child’s personality, which personality has the effect of the emotional development of the child. The methodology used in this preparation uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The emotional experience of an individual is increasingly widespread with his experience in experience self-conscious emotions such as pride, shame, and guilt. There are several factors that influence the emotional development of children, so these emotions are very influential on their personality, namely: parenting, wrong behavior in children, individual relationships with siblings and birth order of an individual, individual relationships with peers, play, and television.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the most important on psychological aspects for students in achieving learning success. The implementation of learning during the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Indonesia using the learning from home “Belajar dari Rumah (BDR)”. This learning program makes children unable to interact directly with their friends and teachers. This fact raises the question, how is children's motivation to learn during the COVID-19 pandemic, at which time children tend to be faced with online learning. This study aims to describe the independence of early childhood who come from poor families. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through an e-questionnaire using a google form. The research population is the early age in Pekanbaru City who implement the BDR program. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a psychological scale, namely learning motivation. Overall, from all indicators, children's learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic is already in the moderate category, which is 78%. This means that most of the early childhood students who study from home during the COVID-19 pandemic have moderate motivation. 8% of children who are respondents have high motivation to learn and the remaining 14% of children have low motivation to learn.
