Abstract

Mathematics is the science of logic regarding forms, structures, quantities and concepts related to one another. In the concept it is always related to everyday human life. Learning Mathematics in the form of the Student Literacy Movement is not only an increase in curiosity but always the development of creative thinking skills, Mathematics is the science of calculating which aims to instill and develop a counting process in teachers. Based on the results of observations at SDN Kenari 07 Pagi on the teacher learning process still using conventional or teacher-centered teaching methods as information providers, with the student literacy movement it is expected to improve the good quality of each problem-solving concept in the form of question applications. Abstract

The lack of lecturer mastery in managing the Online Journal System (OJS) is one of the factors that slows the journal accreditation process. Empowerment of lecturers in the management of OJS aims to increase the role of lecturers as journal managers according to journal accreditation standards. This empowerment method is carried out by means of webinars, workshops, training, and OJS assistance both online and offline. Through workshops, lecturers as journal managers open their mindsets about the importance of managing OJS in accordance with journal accreditation standards, through workshop activities, lecturers are able to design journals and complete journal managers in accordance with accreditation standards, then in training activities, lecturers practice the functions of each manager. OJS and in mentoring activities, lecturers receive assistance for DOI activation, indexation and registration for journal accreditation through the arjuna application. Through lecturer empowerment activities in managing OJS, the number of accredited journals can be increased.

Abstract

Thuggery is a crime that very often occurs not only in cities but also in rural areas. It is not uncommon for this crime to cause victims so that the community feels uneasy about the crime. one of them is a village that is a place of thuggery is a river village outside Batang Tuaka sub-district. The law study program at the law faculty of the Islamic University of Indragiri conducted legal counseling about the dangers of thuggery in the village as a preventive measure so that the crime of thuggery does not happen again. with Data Collection Techniques in the form of Library Studies and Lectures, data sources are through Primary Law materials, namely positive legal materials that are binding and consist of statutory regulations and Secondary Law materials. Qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the legal counseling show that thuggery crimes are increasingly occurring due to the lack of public knowledge about the legal rules that thuggery can be subject to criminal sanctions as regulated in the Criminal Code. So far, the community considers that thuggery crimes cannot be sanctioned because people are afraid to report them because thugs always threaten the victim and his family

Abstract

The Sungai Beringin Youth Community is an association of youth with various cultures, ethnicities, occupations and education. With various kinds of education from low to high, as well as in terms of different jobs, one of the problems and weaknesses of the Banyan River youth is the lack of knowledge about technology. information that helps things in work. The purpose of this service is to conduct training using Sketchup Software in the form of 3D modeling which allows creating and applying 2D and 3D models based on the education and work of each youth, such as buildings, architecture, interior and exterior designs. as for the method used is a pre-experimental design with a research design used a one-shot case study. The results of this community service show the ease of using Sketchup Software that is Push and Down, the benefits of this training help the youth of the river community want to clarify their views on the object of work is in the form of 3D visualization media. The conclusion from this service is that more than 90% of those who attended this training understood how the Sketchup Software worked.

Abstract

Utilization of local feed resources aims to encourage the independence of farmers in meeting the needs of feed ingredients and their processing. The independence of farmers can be supported by maximizing livestock farming and collaborating with BUMDes in order to create an increase in the economic welfare of livestock business groups in rural areas. the use of BUMDes together for livestock business groups in rural areas provides a forum for breeders and BUMDes management to continue to develop businesses, especially livestock businesses. It is hoped that the development of livestock business at the joint BUMDes in Aikmel District can minimize the low productivity of livestock and the use of local feed raw materials in rural areas, so that the joint BUMDes continue their business and farmers can more easily get the transfer of knowledge of feed technology and feed supplements in efforts to increase livestock productivity. The stages in this service include observation, planning, follow-up and evaluation. The training implementation methods are lectures and direct practice, question and answer and discussion methods. Based on the results of the training, it shows that the participants have been able to carry out management and management of livestock business units in their respective livestock groups, which can be seen from the training and mentoring carried out by the resource persons.

Abstract

Pandemi Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) telah berlangsung hampir selama hampir dua tahun. Meskipun berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah berupa sosialiasi pencegahan kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan , namun berdsarkan pengamatan di lapangan, kegiatan edukasi yang diberikan tersebut belum diimbangi dengan partispasi aktif masyarakat dalam melakukan protocol kesehatan dan juga keikutsertaan dalam program vaksinasi Covid. Tim pengabdian Universitas Riau bersama dengan mahasiswa yang menjalankan kegiatan kuliah kerja nyata (kukerta) melakukan edukasi dan pemebentukan kader peduli Covid pada beberapa desa Kukerta yang berada di sepanjang aliran sungai Kampar. Metode dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan penagabdian ini dilakukan dalam 4 ( empat ) tahapan, yaitu (1) Sosialisasi, (2) Peningkatan kompetensi, (3) Pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta (4 ) Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Kegitan penyuluham dibantu oleh mahasiswa Kukerta dan secara berkala dilakukan monitoring. Selain itu juga diberikan media peraga berupa poster dan banner, Diharapkan dengan adanya media peraga ini dapat mempermudah kader dalam melakukan edukasi tentang Covid kepada masyarakat.
