Abstract

Cosmos caudatus Kunth which is also known as kenikir is a traditional plant that is eaten as a vegetable and has medicinal properties. From previous studies it is known that kenikir leaves contain active antibacterial substances such as saponins, phenols, flavonoids, and tannins. However, kenikir flowers have not been found as antibacterial. So this study aims to determine how much kenikir flowers can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The disc paper diffusion method with a diameter of 6 mm was used in the antibacterial activity test. The concentrations used were 20%, 30%, 40% and using Clindamycin as an antibiotic. The test results were explained with descriptive analysis. From the study it can be concluded that the kenikir flower fraction (Cosmos caudatus Kunth) can inhibit the development of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, the aquadest fraction got the best results at a concentration of 40% with an inhibition zone of 8.12 mm and the ethyl acetate fraction with a concentration of 40% produced an inhibition zone diameter of 9.9 mm.

Abstract

The role of a Social Media Specialist (SMS) in a company is becoming increasingly crucial in this digital era. This research aims to analyze the impact of the presence of an SMS on operational effectiveness and the enhancement of company insights. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, this study explores how the expertise and strategies applied by an SMS can improve operational efficiency and provide deep insights for the company. The findings indicate that an SMS significantly contributes to enhancing customer interaction and engagement through social media platforms, which in turn improves the company's communication and operational flow. Additionally, the social media data analysis conducted by an SMS provides valuable insights into consumer behavior and preferences, which can be used to develop more effective and targeted marketing strategies. The implication of this research is that PT. Aaron Innovation Indonesia needs to invest resources in the development of SMS skills and the integration of social media functions with company operations to achieve competitive advantage in an increasingly dynamic market. This study highlights the importance of the SMS role not only in facilitating more efficient communication but also in providing reliable data for strategic decision-making.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the representation of facial muscle anatomy in 3D animated expressions by using a hybrid approach that combines blendshape and joint-based rigging techniques as well as an advanced control system. Blendshape is used to capture fine details and nuances of facial expressions, while joint-based rigging provides additional flexibility for broader, more dynamic movements. The implemented control system allows precise and interactive manipulation of various facial expressions, resulting in more realistic and natural facial deformations. The research methodology includes the development of a facial model with accurate anatomical details, followed by the implementation of a hybrid rig that combines blendshape and joint-based rigging. The control system is built using a node connector technique, which allows granular regulation of facial expression and deformation parameters. Validation was carried out through extensive testing with various facial expressions to assess the accuracy and realism of the resulting animation. The research results show that this hybrid approach significantly increases the accuracy and realism of facial expressions in 3D animation compared to conventional methods. The control system developed also proved effective in providing flexibility and ease of use for animators. Thus, this research offers an important contribution to improving the quality and efficiency of 3D animation production, as well as opening up opportunities for further development in facial rigging and animation techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal dosage and concentration of fish-waste-based liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on the growth and yield of mustard greens, as well as to evaluate the interaction between these factors. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with a factorial pattern of 2 factors: concentration (K1: 1 liter POC + 5 liters water, K2: 1 liter POC + 10 liters water, K3: 1 liter POC + 15 liters water) and dosage (D0: control, D1: 100 ml/polybag, D2: 150 ml/polybag, D3: 200 ml/polybag). The results indicated that the D3 dosage (200 ml POC) produced the best outcomes across all growth and yield parameters for mustard greens in both planting periods. Additionally, the K1 concentration (1 liter POC + 5 liters water) also yielded the best results for various growth and yield parameters. A significant interaction between concentration and dosage was observed for plant height during the first period and for various other parameters in the second period

Abstract

Stem Root Rot (BPB) is a disease caused by the fungus Ganoderma Boninense. BPB results in low production of oil palm plants. Biological control using the fungus Trichoderma sp is an alternative that is currently being widely researched to control plant diseases. This research aims to determine the potential inhibitory ability of Trichoderma sp on the growth of G. Boninense in vitro. The research method used was double culture with isolates of Trichoderma Asperellum (T1), Trichoderma Asperellum (T2), Trichoderma Harzianum (T3) against G. Boninense. The research results showed that Trichoderma Asperellum (T1) had an inhibitory power of 72.3%, Trichoderma Harzianum (T3) had an inhibitory power of 72.2% and Trichoderma Asperellum (T2) had the highest antagonistic power reaching 92.5%. the three isolates of antagonistic fungi can inhibit the fungus G. Boninense

Abstract

Experimental research aimed at identifying and studying the interaction between the effects of bokashi and NPK fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of kangkung plants. The research was conducted in Sukahurip Village, Cijambe District, Subang Regency. The altitude of the place is 134 meters above sea level with the soil order Andosol and rainfall type B (wet) based on Schmidt and Ferguson's calculations. The research was conducted for three months, from August to October 2022. Randomized block design (RBD) factorial pattern which consisted of two factors, namely the first factor consisting of 4 levels in the form of bokashi doses of 0 tons ha-1 (b0), 15 tons ha-1 (b1), 30 tons ha-1 (b2) and 40 tons ha-1 (b3). and the second factor in the form of NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0 kg ha-1 (n0), 100 kg ha-1 (n1), 200 kg ha-1 (n2) and 300 kg ha-1 (n3) repeated 3 times. The results of the research on the effect of doses of bokashi and NPK fertilizers showed an interaction effect on plant height observations at 14 DAP, 21 DAP and 28 DAP, root removal ratio, fresh weight per plant, fresh weight per plot and dry weight per plant, while the number of leaves observed was not indicating an interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to study the interaction of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) concentration and amelioran dosage on agronomic characters and yields of chickpea plants. This research was carried out in the experimental field at Winaya Mukti University, Sumedang Regency and was carried out from September 2022 to November 2022 which is located at an altitude of 850 m.asl. The experimental design used in this experiment was a split plot consisting of two factors and repeated twice. The first factor was the concentration of POC which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0 cc L-1, 2 cc L-1, 4 cc L-1 and the second factor was the dose of amelioran which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0 ton ha-1, 0 ton ha- 1, 2 tons ha-1, 4 tons ha-1 and 6 tons ha-1 so that there are 16 treatment combinations. The results of the study only showed an interaction with the number of leaves at the age of 14 HST, while other observational parameters both on the agronomical characters and the yield of chickpea plants did not have an interaction between the concentration of POC and the dose of amelioran. The experimental results showed that no POC dose treatment and the dominant concentration of amelioran had a significant effect on the agronomic characters and yield of bean plants.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Dawuan Kidul Village, Dawuan District, Subang Regency with an altitude of 700 m above sea level, with a type B (wet) climate from September 2022 to December 2022. This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of the interaction between the concentrations of the hormax biofertilizer and spacing on the growth and yield of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) variety Biga, (2) knowing the concentration of hormax biofertilizer and spacing that gives the best results on peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) variety Biga. The experimental design used was a split plot design with a factorial pattern with Duncan's follow-up test. Hormax concentration treatment (k) consisted of 4 levels, namely k0 (concentration 0 ml/L solution), k2 (concentration 5 ml/L solution), k3 (concentration 10 ml/L solution), k4 (concentration 15 ml/L solution) . The spacing treatment (j) consisted of 4 levels, namely j1 (30x15 cm), j2 (30x20 cm), j3 (30x25 cm), j4 (30x30 cm). The results showed that there was an interaction between the concentration of hormax biofertilizer and plant spacing on the response of plant height 21 HST, number of leaves 21 HST, 35 HST, 49 HST and the number of pods planted. The best interaction was shown from the application of 5 and 10 ml/L biological fertilizer solution at a spacing of 30x30cm for a plant height response of 21 DAP, the provision of 15 ml/L biological fertilizer solution at a spacing of 30x25cm was best for a response of 21 DAP leaves, the application of 15 ml biological fertilizer /L solution at a spacing of 30x20 was the best for the response to the number of leaves of 35 HST and the application of biological fertilizer 5 ml/L solution at a spacing of 30x20 was best for the response to the number of leaves of 49 HST and the number of pods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring ketinggian air sungai berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) sebagai upaya mitigasi bencana banjir di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan. Sistem dikembangkan untuk menggantikan metode pemantauan manual yang masih banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat dan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem perangkat keras dan lunak, serta uji coba lapangan. Perangkat keras menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 dan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266 yang terhubung dengan Firebase Realtime Database. Data ketinggian air ditampilkan melalui aplikasi mobile dengan indikator warna hijau (aman), kuning (siaga), dan merah (bahaya). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja secara stabil dengan tingkat akurasi 98,3% dan waktu respons data sekitar 2–3 detik. Pengguna dapat memantau kondisi sungai secara real-time serta menerima notifikasi otomatis saat terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada tinggi muka air. Kebaruan (novelty) dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi sistem IoT dengan aplikasi mobile berbasis Firebase yang dirancang secara modular dan hemat energi, sehingga dapat diterapkan di daerah dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah menciptakan model kolaborasi antara universitas, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat dalam membangun sistem peringatan dini berbasis komunitas. Sistem ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi pemantauan banjir, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap mitigasi bencana dan membuka peluang inovasi teknologi tepat guna di wilayah pedesaan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan sistem pengelolaan sampah berbasis teknologi dalam mendukung mitigasi perubahan iklim di tingkat komunitas pedesaan. Lokasi penelitian berada di TPS3R Kenanga Putih, Desa Tundakan, Kabupaten Balangan, Kalimantan Selatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain pra–pasca implementasi sistem digitalisasi pengelolaan sampah. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap 40 responden, observasi langsung, dan pengukuran volume sampah organik serta anorganik yang dikelola. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat sebesar 31,8%, pengurangan pembakaran sampah terbuka hingga 60%, serta efisiensi pengumpulan dan pemilahan sebesar 28%. Penerapan kombinasi sensor volume sampah, alat pencacah organik otomatis, dan pelaporan digital terbukti meningkatkan transparansi data, partisipasi masyarakat, dan efektivitas sistem pengelolaan limbah desa. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan model “low-cost smart waste management” berbasis teknologi sederhana yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi pedesaan. Hasil penelitian memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan kebijakan pembangunan rendah karbon dan penerapan sistem pengelolaan limbah berkelanjutan di Indonesia
