Abstract

Utilization of organic waste as an alternative fertilizer is one of the efforts to improve sustainability in agriculture. Egg shells, as household waste rich in calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), have great potential to be used as soil ameliorant and a source of nutrients for plants. The purpose of the study was to examine the benefits of chicken egg shell waste in peanut cultivation. The study was conducted in Watervang Village, Lubuklinggau City at an altitude of 113.59 meters above sea level, from March to June 2024, using a factorial Randomized Block Design experimental method consisting of 3 group. Treatment of chicken egg shell powder doses: 0.2, 0.6, and 1.0 tons-ha, and peanut varieties consisting of giraffe variety, bison variety and talam1 variety. The study consisted of 27 units, each unit consisting of 3 sample plants. The parameters observed consisted of the number of branches, flowering age, number of pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds and soil pH. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (Anova), the effect of treatment was analyzed by Honestly Significant Difference Test (HSD), to determine the level of accuracy, the Coefficient of Diversity test was carried out. The results of the study of the application of chicken egg shell powder at a dose of 1.0 tons-ha. The results of the study of the application of egg shell powder at a dose of 1.0 tons-ha showed an increase in peanut production. The use of the Talam 1 variety was able to provide better growth and production. Between the application of chicken egg shell doses and varieties did not show any significant interaction. Keywords: egg shells;  peanuts; soil pH; varieties.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana Fear of Missing Out, Electronic Word of Mouth, dan Store Atmosphere mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif di AM: PM Coffee Surabaya. Peneliti menggunakan strategi non-probability sampling dalam penelitian ini, yang berarti bahwa setiap konsumen yang dipilih sebagai sampel dipilih secara acak. Penelitian ini mencakup data primer dan sekunder. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan SEM-PLS untuk melihat data. Kami memeriksa data dengan melakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan regresi linier berganda. Investigasi menemukan bahwa nilai R-square adalah 0,644. Fear of Missing Out, Electronic Word of Mouth, dan Store Atmosphere adalah tiga hal yang membuat orang cenderung membeli barang secara impulsif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji perubahan kondisi fisik dan non-fisik pasar pasca-revitalisasi, serta menganalisis dampak sosial dan ekonomi yang dirasakan oleh para pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Wates, Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan quota sampling dalam menentukan sampel. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui wawancara yang didukung dengan penggunaan kuesioner sebagai alat bantu. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 1) Ada perubahan yang signifikan terhadap bentuk fisik pasar yang lebih layak, nyaman, dan aman, serta perubahan non fisik pasar berupa struktur keanggotaan yang baru dan lebih lengkap. 2) dampak sosial revitalisasi seperti keamanan dan kenyamanan meningkat, komunikasi antar pedagang yang baik, upaya pengelola pasar yang aktif, 3) dampak ekonomi revitalisasi seperti perubahan pendapatan pedagang, biaya operasional, dan adanya pengaruh pedagang yang berjualan diluar pasar.

Abstract

Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun inkubator telur otomatis berbasis Arduino Uno R3 dengan lapisan aluminium foil pada dinding bagian dalam untuk meningkatkan kestabilan suhu dan kelembapan. Sistem dilengkapi sensor DHT22, mist maker untuk menjaga kelembaban, lampu pijar 20 watt sebagai pemanas, dan motor sinkron untuk membalik telur secara otomatis setiap 6 jam. Informasi suhu dan kelembapan ditampilkan secara real-time melalui LCD, dan alat bekerja mandiri selama 21 hari masa inkubasi.Pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu menjaga kestabilan suhu dan kelembapan dengan simpangan baku rendah, serta efisien dalam konsumsi energi (±0,168 kWh/hari). Pelapisan aluminium foil terbukti menurunkan kehilangan panas hingga 97% melalui radiasi, serta menghemat energi sebesar 20–30%. Sistem pemutar telur berjalan efektif dengan torsi sangat rendah (0,00515 Nm), di bawah batas kemampuan motor.Keberhasilan alat juga ditunjang sistem pendukung berupa pemantau kestabilan sistem utama. Sistem ini mendeteksi error pada sensor atau tampilan LCD, lalu mereset Arduino utama secara otomatis agar alat tetap berjalan stabil tanpa perlu intervensi manual. Tingkat keberhasilan penetasan mencapai 90% dari 21 telur yang diuji, dengan 2 telur yang gagal menetas.

Abstract

One of the efforts to increase the production of cayenne pepper is fertilization. Fertilizers commonly used are inorganic fertilizers and organic fertilizers. The use of liquid organic fertilizer from kepok banana peel is one of the The study aims to determine the effect of a combination of goat manure and liquid organic fertilizer from kepok banana peel to increase the growth and yield of cayenne pepper plants. This study used a factorial Complete Randomized Block Design. The first factor is the dose of goat manure (K) with 3 levels, namely: K0 = 0 dose (control), K1 = 150 g plant-1 K2 = 300 gr. plant-1. The second factor is the dose of banana peel POC (P) with 3 levels, namely: P0 = 0 ml. plant-1 (Control), P1 = 30 ml plant-1, P2 = 60 ml. plant-1. The results showed that the interaction between goat manure 0 g. plant-1 with POC 60 ml. plant-1 produced the highest plant height. The interaction between goat manure 300 g.plant-1 with POC 60 ml.plant-1 produces the highest number of leaves. The dose of manure 300 g.plant-1 has an effect on the total number of fruits per plant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kenaikan temperatur terhadap tingkat kegagalan produk pada mesin filling kemasan sachet bubuk, dengan fokus khusus pada kerusakan sealing seperti seal break dan seal crack. Mesin filling memiliki peran penting dalam proses produksi, terutama pada tahap sealing yang sangat sensitif terhadap fluktuasi suhu. Ketidakkonsistenan suhu pada sealing jaws menyebabkan penyegelan yang tidak sempurna, yang berdampak langsung pada mutu produk dan efisiensi produksi. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental melalui dua tahapan: sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan sistem termal, yakni dengan pemasangan kain teflon tahan panas pada sealing jaws. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran suhu kerja sealing jaws, jumlah produk gagal, dan efisiensi waktu produksi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum perbaikan, laju perpindahan panas mencapai 323,4 Watt dengan jumlah produk gagal yang tinggi. Setelah pelapisan teflon, energi panas turun menjadi 270 Watt karena adanya tambahan isolasi, yang menghasilkan distribusi suhu lebih stabil dan penurunan signifikan pada kegagalan produk. Selain itu, waktu pemanasan mesin meningkat efisien dari 10 menit menjadi 9,5 menit. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian suhu pada mesin filling sangat penting untuk menurunkan kerusakan kemasan. Pemasangan kain teflon terbukti efektif dalam menstabilkan distribusi panas, meningkatkan kekuatan sealing, dan menekan tingkat kegagalan produk hingga di bawah batas ambang industri (<5%). Penelitian ini mendukung penerapan prinsip perpindahan panas konduksi dan teori material termal sebagai pendekatan sistematis dalam peningkatan kinerja sistem mekanik mesin filling.

Abstract

Four o'clock flower plant (Mirabilis jalapa L.) is empirically used in traditional medicine, one of which can help in healing wounds caused by incisions, where this four o'clock flower plant contains flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins and tannins. This study aims to determine whether four o'clock seed powder cream can help in healing cuts. This study is an experimental study, where this research looks at the percentage of healing on the incision wound on the back of male rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) for 7 days after treatment, this treatment consists of 5 treatment groups, namely positive control (Betadin), negative control (cream base), and 3 concentrations of four o'clock flower powder cream with a concentration of 5%, 7.5% and 10% with 5 repetitions, the treatment was carried out twice a day in the morning and evening for 7 days. The results showed that the treatment that provided the best effectiveness in providing healing to the cut wound was the positive control (Betadine cream) with a percentage of 96.85% followed by the group with a dose variation of four o'clock flower seed powder cream with a dose variation of 10% with a percentage of 92.08% with significant (p<0.005).

Abstract

Lip dye is a cosmetic preparation that can provide attractive color to the lips, Senggani flowers have an attractive color so they are suitable for natural dyes on the lips Lipstick formulations use VCO variations with various concentrations. The extraction method was by maceration method. The physical evaluation of lipstick includes Organoleptis test, Homogeneity test, pH test, Strength check, Melting point test, Irritation test, Hedonic/Panelist test.The research data showed that the formulation of lipstick preparations from senggani flower extract (Melastoma malabathricum L) as a natural dye with various variations in VCO concentration could affect the physical properties of lipsticks.

Abstract

Kupa fruit is a rare fruit that has a blackish purple color which has antioxidant potential, in vitro research is supported by the high levels of antioxidants and vitamin C in kupa fruit so that it can reduce blood sugar levels. Syzygium polycephalum is a plant that contains flavonoids so it has pharmacological potential as an antidiabetic, because it contains flavonoid compounds which can be used as antidiabetic prevention. This research aims to find out how effective Kupa fruit extract is and determine the right dose to reduce minimum blood sugar levels in mice that have been induced by alloxan. The research used an alloxan-induced testing method. There were 30 mice grouped into 6 treatments including normal control group mice, negative group mice, positive control mice, kupa fruit extract at a dose of 500 mg/Kg BW, fruit extract at a dose of 750 mg/kg BW and fruit extract at a dose of 1000 mg/Kg BW. The inducer to increase blood sugar levels in mice was Aloxan monohydrate using a dose of 150 Mg/KgBW using the intraperitoneal route of administration. The extract was administered for 14 days, the blood sugar levels of H0, H7 and H14 were measured using a glucotest strip (Easy Touch GCU) by taking samples from mice whose blood was taken through the tail of the lateral vein. Analysis of Results Through the SPSS One Way Anova test, the test was continued with a confidence level of 95% (p<0.05) using Posct Hoc. The results of the research were that there was a change in effect, namely a decrease in blood sugar levels in mice treated with extract from kupa fruit and the most effective dose was a decrease in blood sugar levels in mice, namely a dose of 1000 Mg/KgBW, followed by a dose of kupa fruit extract of 750 Mg/KgBW and finally with a dose of 500 Mg/KgBB.

Abstract

Butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea L.) contain chemicals, namely anthocyanin flavanoids, which are a subclass of water-soluble flavanoids and are responsible for the color of the flowers. RGL oranges (Citrus nobilis) are a high source of vitamin C which is effective as an antioxidant which can neutralize free radicals. Effervescent granules have high solubility in water making them very easily absorbed and contain carbonates which provide a fresh taste sensation. The aim of making effervescent granules is to find out whether butterfly pea flower essence with RGL oranges can be formulated into effervescent granules and meet the effervescent granule test requirements. Butterfly pea flower essence with RGL orange is formulated with varying concentrations of butterfly pea flower, namely 100; 150; 200 pieces. Effervescent granules are formulated using the dry granulation method. The results of research on making effervescent granules in organoleptic tests have different colors, effervescent granule flow time 1.31 - 1.36 seconds, angle of repose 27° - 29°, water content 1.5 - 1.7%, dissolving time 27.39 – 36.8, all of these tests meet the requirements of the effervescent granule test, granule pH 5.17 – 5.52 which tends to be acidic, this condition is influenced by the addition of RGL butterfly pea flower and orange juice, based on the hedonic test the most preferred formula is F III .
