Abstract

In line with technological developments, English learning media can be done through You Tube. You Tube developed into You Tube Kids to cater to children consumers. You Tube Kids provides various interesting channels in English such as Peppa Pig, Coco Melon and Ania-Elsia. An interesting phenomenon was found in a child who is able to speak English because he often watches Ania and Elsia's You Tube channels. In their daily habits, the child uses Indonesian as the first language and English as the second language. This study tries to reveal the influence of You Tube Kids on second language acquisition. The study of first and second language acquisition material is in the field of psycholinguistics studies. The research method used is a qualitative research method using case study research. From this research, You Tube Kids is very influential in the acquisition of a second language in terms of cognitive, vocabulary and pronunciation of words well.

Abstract

Kupang Regency, NTT is an area that has the potential for white soil and abundant coconut husk waste. The white soil of Kupang has a textured physical character, contains sand and coral floss and a little clay and has adhesiveness when water is added. Meanwhile, coconut coir is a natural fiber which is coconut fruit waste. Natural fibers such as coconut coir, apart from being able to lighten the weight of the bricks, are also expected to strengthen the bricks. In certain compositions, coco fiber can be used as an added material in brick making because it reduces cracking. (Mulyono 2004). The research method used is experimental research methods. The results of the measurement of the compressive strength of bricks added with coconut coir fiber, with a ratio of 1 coconut fiber: 1 cement: 7 white soil reached 147 kg / cm², this is much higher than previous studies using 1 cement: 7 white soil reaching 51.9 kg. / cm² and smaller than white earth bricks mixed with rice husks which reaches 83.7 kg / cm² (Bebhe, 2020). In addition, in the compressive strength test, the bricks with a mixture of coconut fiber after the test did not experience total destruction but only cracked on the edges of the brick.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how migrant traders are able to develop their business and explain social relations among migrant traders so that immigrant traders of Butonese ethnicity are able to develop their business. and survive overseas, even more developed than local traders. This study will also explain what influences the success of immigrant traders overseas. The basic reason that prompted this research to be carried out is because there has been no in-depth study and research using social economic concepts about the phenomenon of migrant traders in the Rumah Tiga village market that has succeeded and developed overseas. This research was conducted using qualitative analysis using a phenomenological approach to explain the phenomenon of migrant traders in the Rumah Tiga village market and their ability to develop and succeed overseas. Based on the concept of thought that was built, it will describe in depth the indicators that determine the success of migrant traders overseas and scientifically this research will later become part of the learning process of local traders on the success of migrant traders in developing their business and succeeding.

Abstract

This economic business study aimed to identify brands' influence, product quality, and packaging on customer responses and implications for Muslim consumer loyalty in Minimarket. For this reason, we first collect data related to the above issues from various online data sources such as data sources based on Google Scholar publications, Google Docs, and other sources of academic literature. After that, we continue with the analysis to get answers to the problems of this study. Data analysis started from a preliminary reading of the literature and connected with questions. Then analysis and in-depth interpretation are continued to get answers as the findings of this study. We selected secondary data according to the systematic review design model. Then we continue writing a report in a qualitative descriptive form with the principles of validity and reliability. Considering existing data, we report a very close influence between brand, quality, and product packaging on the response of Muslim customers, which lately has become a shopping trend among Muslim consumers.

Abstract

The reality of the growth of the retail industry, is actually a form of how there is growth in consumption growth in a modern format. In Indonesia, retail players such as Indomart and Alfamart are proof that the retail industry is in full bloom. The network is so tight, sticking together, shadowing each other. They exist in almost every district, with a strong franchise concept. On the other hand, by locus, they occupy an area, which is very likely in each region there is a small industry / MSME business that requires marketing links. This paper only intends to describe how the scenario for developing the MSME market is based on possible synergies with these retail companies. The result of reflection is the need for a driving aspect in the form of regulation by regional leaders and the readiness of MSME actors themselves when entering the modern retail network.

Abstract

Pipe rolling machine is a machine for rolling pipes or bending pipes. The purpose of the analysis and manufacture of the machine is to make pipe bending work easier because the machine bends automatically according to the desired degree. The design process for this pipe rolling machine includes: making design concepts, identification of materials, identification of machines and equipment used, and identification of drawings. The thing that needs to be considered in the manufacture of this pipe rolling machine is the density of the connections on the upper frame and lower frame legs so that vibration occurs when the machine is operating. This machine has dimensions of length 500 mm, width 320 mm, 500 mmn machine performance testing is carried out by testing directly to make pipe rolls. The results of testing the time needed to make one roll pipe is 20 minutes, with a rotation speed of 1400 Rpm.

Abstract

Data mining and machine learning are two tools that play an important role in the study of data analysis and decision systems. Classification is a function of data mining. In the classification function, sorting or mapping occurs based on the proximity or similarity of data attributes to the specified label. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The KNN algorithm is a non-parametric method used for classification and regression. Cardiovascular disease prediction models with KNN and SVM algorithms are used to identify and predict cardiovascular disease. The KNN algorithm uses Euclidian distance for the prediction process of training data. The SVM algorithm uses a hyperplane for the data prediction training process. The dataset used is 400 with 7 attributes, namely age, gender, systolic blood pressure, cholesterol, talach, oldpeak and slope. The results of the implementation of the KNN and SVM algorithms produce performance with an accuracy of 75.75% on KNN and 76.00% on SVM. The precision value is 76.78% for KNN and 83.93% for SVM. Meanwhile, the recall resulted in 77.14% for KNN and 67.14% for SVM.
