Abstract

National Leadership Training level II (PKN II) for high level pratama positions (echelon II) needs to be evaluated to determine the extent of changes in song behavior and the impact of the training. Through post-training evaluation, it is found to what extent the training objectives have been achieved. The research uses Kirkpatrick's third stage behavioral evaluation model (behavior). Supporting data was obtained from questionnaire instruments, interviews and documentation, then analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. questionnaires were distributed to trainees and the trainees' superiors (mentors). Evaluation at the third stage of behavior is categorized into three aspects, namely aspects of attitude, behavior, impact and sustainability of the change project. The results of the third level evaluation were distributed to alumni and mentor respondents, namely in the aspect of changing attitudes and behavior of alumni with an average value of 3.48. The impact of training on alumni stakeholders was 3.23. From the results of alumni and mentor respondents, it shows that the Level II National Leadership Training succeeded in achieving its goals well, obtaining scores for all aspects above 3.35 with good qualifications. The behavioral attitudes of strategic leaders in practicing energy management are able to manage strategies and utilize the resources they have, are able to manage organizational members to adapt to threats, obstacles and take advantage of the opportunities they have, and are able to influence external stakeholders, so that innovation and creativity can run effectively and sustainably . The resulting innovation can influence the development of government-private partnerships that support national development policies and encourage national competitiveness.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe students' high-level thinking skills using a project-based learning model in the field of chemical studies on hydrocarbon topics. This research is a quasi-experimental research that has a one-group pretest-posttest design. The objects of this research were 33 students of Class XI MAN 1 Kota Malang. The research findings show that there is an increase in students' HOTS test scores from pretest, posttest 1, and posttest 2. These results show that the project-based learning model contributes to increasing the HOTS of students at MAN 1 Kota Malang for chemistry subjects on hydrocarbon topics.

Abstract

Based on the heterogeneous condition of SMK Subur Insani students based on ethnicity and religion, all students are male, and there have been no cases of religious moderation. This study aims to examine: 1) the level of understanding of religious moderation among students; 2) the level of students' perception of tolerance; 3) the level of student tolerance behaviour; 4) the influence of students' understanding of religious moderation on students' perceptions of tolerance; and 5) the influence of students' understanding of religious moderation on students' tolerant behaviour at Subur Insani Sambas Vocational School. The research procedure used quantitative data; there were 66 respondents, but only 55 students filled out the questionnaire. Data was collected using an understanding of religious moderation questionnaire, a tolerance perception questionnaire, and a tolerance behaviour questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive and statistical analysis. The findings of this research are: 1) The level of understanding of students' religious moderation is very high n = 85.80%; 2) The level of perception of students' tolerance is very high n = 91.91%; 3) The level of student tolerance behavior is very high n = 91.10%; 4) Understanding religious moderation (X) has a positive and significant influence on the perception of tolerance variable (Y1) seen from the statistical test results obtained tcount > ttable, namely 8.467 > 1.67412; 5) Understanding religious moderation (X) has a positive and significant influence on the tolerance behavior variable (Y2) in students at Subur Insani Sambas Vocational School as seen from statistical tests showing tcount > ttable, namely 5.247 > 1.67412.

Abstract

Background by the absence of meta data documenting evidence of the effectiveness of cyber counseling in the context of educational counseling services for students. The objectives of the study: 1) to review the literature on technology used in cyber counseling in educational counseling services; 2) to review the effectiveness of cyber counseling to improve educational counseling services. This study uses content analysis on n = 20 literatures. This study uses a comprehensive review of n = 20 literatures. Literature search on the main database, namely SOPUS with the help of the PoP application, spanning the years 2019-2024. Data collection from June 2024 to July 2024. Results of the study: 1) The technology used in cyber counseling in educational counseling services includes: Skype, Silver Cloud, email, SMS, online sync video technology, website, IZ Hero Challenge, iCBT, Whatsapp, and computer-internet. Cyber counseling utilizes technology to facilitate individual counseling services, career counseling, psychological counseling, and social counseling. 2) Evidence of the effectiveness of cyber counseling that uses technology assistance to improve educational counseling services is seen from the results of counseling increasing (n = 16) and decreasing (n = 4). Proven to increase resilience, subjective risk intelligence, career adaptability, self-efficacy, optimism, and life satisfaction; understanding of social support in online peer groups for career counseling; students' humility; career decision-making skills; mental health; positive affect; subjective well-being; and future perspectives; access information; and assist students in getting counseling. Proven to reduce mental stress, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, interpersonal sensitivity, and anxiety. These investigations include investigations in Indonesia, the United States, Turkey, Singapore, Iran, Ghana, Malaysia, Germany, Europe, and Italy.

Abstract

This investigation aims to decide the implementation of chemistry learning based on cross-cultural religious literacy (CCRL). This research is a quantitative and qualitative descriptive research. This research design was carried out using the One Shoot Case Study method. The data collection technique used was observation of the implementation of learning, and a questionnaire to measure students' understanding and behavior of religious moderation. Based on data analysis, the results obtained were:  The teacher has implemented chemistry learning based on cross-cultural religious literacy with agood category, student activity in applying personal, comparison, and collaboration competence is 12.5; 19.75 and 20.25% and evaluation, negotiation and communication skills of 14.5; 16 and 17%. Students' understanding and behavior of religious moderation is included in the very good category.

Abstract

The development of metacognitive skills for learning has emerged as a major topic in educational research. This study aimed to: (1) map the function of metacognitive skills; and (2) identify study trends in metacognitive skills over the last ten years in science learning. Systematic Review of Literature (SLR) was used as the study methodology. Data were extracted from scientific publications published in leading international journals using the Scopus index and then uploaded to the Google Scholar and Scopus databases. The title and keywords "Metacognitive Skills" and "Metacognitive Skills in Science Learning" were used in the article search, which was limited to the last ten years, starting in 2014 and ending in 2023. The results showed that there were 18426 articles in the database sources and 40 remaining for review after selection. Study findings regarding the function of metacognitive skills showed that 65% of these skills functioned as output, while 35% functioned as input. Furthermore, it was found that most study on metacognitive skills in science learning was conducted at the university level (50%) and high school level (25%). In terms of scientific disciplines, biology accounted for 44% of all disciplines. Emotional regulation was a dominant aspect of metacognitive skill learning and development.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in islamic schools brings a number of consequences, including the use of differentiated instruction.  The concept of differentiated instruction is something new for teachers.  This allows misconceptions to occur even though the teacher has obtained previous information.  This article aims to find out the misconceptions of Islamic Junior High Schools sciences teachers regarding the concept of differentiated instruction.  The respondents for this research were 35 participants of Implementation of Independence Curriculum training in science subjects.   Data obtained through a questionnaire using Gform.  The data was then processed using percentage techniques and described.  The research results show that the overall value of misconceptions about the concept of differentiated instruction is 3.23, a medium category approaching high.  "Differentiation is the latest learning model" is the highest misconception, namely 4.00.  "Differentiation makes students unable to achieve learning goals" received the lowest score, namely 2.37.  Widyaiswara in charge of the training course "Differentiated Learning in Science Subjects" needs to identify and correct participants' misconceptions before continuing with the exercise of designing differentiated learning.

Abstract

The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka makes historical thinking skills one of the process skill elements in achieving history learning. Problem-based learning and the Socrates method have been recognized as effective in developing historical abilities. However, no research has so far directed the application of the Socrates method in problem-based history learning toward students' historical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Socrates method on students' historical thinking abilities in problem-based history learning. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest group design. The population of this study was all students of class XI MAN 2 Kota Malang. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, namely 60 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The research instrument used was a historical thinking ability test consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that there was a significant difference in students' historical thinking abilities between the experimental group and the control group. Based on the Wilcoxon non-parametric statistical test with an Asymp. Sig. value. (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05, it can be concluded that the application of the Socrates Method significantly influences students' historical thinking skills. This shows that the Socrates method has a positive influence on students' historical thinking skills in problem-based history learning.

Abstract

This study intends to explore the effectiveness of ClassPoint as one of  learning tools and the practical aspects of its implementation to improvre grammatical competence of freshmen students. The objective of this study is   It utilizes Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The research sample consists of 15 first-year students who are currently registered in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection methods include interview and observation by using surveys (Likert Scale), with the latter two conducted using ClassPoint and iSpring interfaces, respectively. The result of the study shows that the implementation of ClassPoint 2 as a learning tool for Basic English grammar has shown promising results. The study demonstrates a significant improvement in student performance from the first cycle to the second cycle, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum passing criteria increasing from 45.15% to 80.64%. The students also believe it can improve learning outcomes compared to traditional methods. It shows that the implementation of ClassPoint can improve Basic English Grammar’s performance of the Freshmen Students at UNIROW Tuban.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of training on improving the attitude of training organizers in carrying out training tasks at the Surabaya Religious Education and Training Center. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection in this study used Saturated Sampling technique on a population of employees who had attended training. To analyze the data, path analysis techniques were used. The instrument used was a questionnaire on the variables of attitude towards tasks and training. This research proves that improving attitudes towards tasks is directly positively influenced by training, meaning that the implementation of training influences improving attitudes towards tasks
