Abstract

The degradation of eastern character (Indonesian) make us upset.This paper is trying to find a solution how to educate character ofstudents without reducing learning hours most of which have beenused by teachers to teach their subject. One way to be conductedby teachers to educate students through hidden curriculum( through the curriculum not included in textual ) is by using learningcontract. Learning contract is agreements between students andteachers about the things that deal with learning activities, includingdiscipline, responsibility and honesty. The agreements carried outin early semester to ensure that the learning activities can be donewell within a semester. Therefore, this paper aims to explain howto grow students good character in the classroom through learningcontract. To make contract learning run well, teacher must alwayscontrol the effectivity of contract learning that have been made.Character education that uses learning contract will make studentshave discipline, honest and responsible characters. That is why, inorder to make learning contract can run well, the method that isused by teacher is by doing observation. Therefore, teacher cancontrol whether the agreements are done or not.

Abstract

The shift in mass media consumption occurred along with theemergence of more sophisticated media. Among the media thereis one medium that has a big a big roles before other mediacome, that is radio. The research was conducted to know theeffectiveness of radio in broadcasting the main informationnews considering many other media more sophisticated andmore varied in spreading the news to the audience especiallyadolescents belonging to the category of Z generation. Thisresearch is considered as a quantitative descriptive one, whereresearcher wants to reveal the condition or reality occurstailored to the issues raised by researcher. The result is 50 % ofthe total 35 respondents of Z Generation considers that radio isstill effective used to get the news. Although this not as themain mass media, 48.6% of respondents Z Generation considersthat radio is more often used for listening to entertainment,such as music, compared to broadcast programs news. ZGeneration considers that in the present era of radio as a massmedia bearer news has begun in substitution with other massmedia such as online mass media for various reasons.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of children’s mediaMonosa independence based on learning Indonesian at MadrasahIbtidaiyah (MI). This study used a qualitative approach with disriptifresearch methods and using R & D procedures. Based on the resultsof the initial needs assessment obtained results expected media ismedia that is not only disposable and made of material that iswaterproof , medium-sized and can be placed on the table. Learningmedia containing material that diverses and covers all aspects oflanguage skills. Media with images that vary according to the materialfor Indonesian elementary school in fourth grade. Based on thevalidation results showed that the learning media Monosa fit foruse. It can be used by learners, learning media can also create anatmosphere of fun and do not saturate because the learning is donewhile playing .

Abstract

Action Research This class aims to improve students’ criticalthinking on cell division material through Discovery Learningmodel based on Divergen LKS. The study was conducted 2 cyclesin October 2017. Data in the form of teacher action, studentlearning outcomes in the form of cognitive ability and criticalthinking skills of students. Indicator of the success of studentlearning increasing the value of learning outcomes with studentcompleteness of 95 %The result of research shows that the implementation ofDiscovery Learning model based on LKS di verging on thesubject of cell division carried out according to the learningstep and teacher guidance, can improve student learning resultthat is cognitive ability and critical thinking skill of studentsexperience improvement after learning, that is average of 70study result in cycle I and 82 in cycle 2. Classical completeness52,5 % after cycle I and 95 % after cycle II. Increased criticalthinking of students by 0.78 high category

Abstract

Opening a lesson is a very important part of the overall learningactivity, as it will give a deep impression to the students in theirlearning, as well as closing, where teachers and students will get a fullpicture of what they have learned and what to prepare for the nextlesson. In this study. On this occasion researcher tried to elaborate ofhow teachers open and close lessons. This research uses a descriptivequali tati ve research, by using observati on as data col lectioninstrument. While the population and sample are the teachers ofEnglish MTs se East Java, amounting to 35 people. The resultsshowed that teachers in opening lessons for components; Linkingcurrent learning materials with previous learners’ experiences orlearning 45.7 % (moderate), Asking challenging questions. 68.5 %(High), Delivering the benefits of learning materials. 40 % (low),Demonstrate something rel ated to the theme. 68.5% (Hi gh),Delivering ability to be achieved by learners, 54,7 % (Medium), whileDeli ver acti vity plan for example, individual, group work, andobservation. 34.2 % (Low). To close the lesson for components :Reflect or make a summary by involving students 51.4 % (Medium),Give the last oral 51.4 % (Last) oral test, Collect the work as portfoliomaterial, 45.7 % (Medium).

Abstract

In the process of learning often occurs delivery of teacher messages to students experiencing problems both in terms of students' understanding and in terms of student activeness. The main principle is the involvement of all or most of the students'self potential (physical and non physical) and meaningfulness for themselves and their life today and in the future (life skill). In addition, the assessment becomes a problem, especially inferring the value of students in competence skills. Required assessment model to facilitate students in understanding the material, therefore through the portfolio which is one of the teacher's efforts to reduce the dominance of teachers in learning which essentially draws the conclusions of competence skills appropriately. In the learning process that needs to be considered is how to design the portfolio by taking into account the characteristics of students. Portfolio evidence collected in the form of product, performance, or project tasks collected from the assessment by the students. All portfolio evidence collected from various aspects wil l be best taken to i nfer students' skills competencies.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh diklat teknis substantif penyusunan RPP terhadap pemahaman guru MIN 01 Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental dengan pendekatan one group design pre-post test.Lokasi penelitian di MIN 01 Sidoarjo dengan waktu pelaksanaan penelitian bulan November-Desember 2019. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan classified sampling sebanyak 30 orang guru MIN 01 Sidoarjo. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan paired sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: Ada pengaruh diklat teknissubstantif penyusunan RPP terhadap pemahaman konsep. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menggunakanindependen t-test diperoleh thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (27, 499 > 2,756) dengan nilai taraf signifikan kurangdari 1% (0.000 < 0.01) sehingga hipotesis yang dikemukakan teruji kebenarannya.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran Open Ended dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa; (2) Mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa setelah diterapkan modelpembelajaran Open Ended. Penelitiaan ini menggunakan desain Pretest dan Post test yang subjek penelitiannyaadalah siswa MTs NEGERI 2 Mojokerto kelas VIIIG Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian dipilih satu kelasyang memiliki kemampuan heterogen. Pada pengumpulan data menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest, sedangkananalisis data diambil dari Tes Berpikir Kreatif I (TBK I) dan Tes Berpikir Kreatif II (TBK II). Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas VIIIG MTs NEGERI 2 Mojokerto dalam menyelesaikan masalahmatematika tentang SPLDV pada TBK I dan TBK II terjadi perubahan. Terdapat 24 siswa yang mengalamipeningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan presentase 66,67%, 12 siswa tidak mengalami peningkatan atautetap sebesar 33,33%. Berdasarkan persentase dan kategori yang telah dibuat, peningkatan kemampuan berpikirkreatif siswa tergolong rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa dengan strategi mind mapping yang efektif untuk digunakan. Pengembangan lembar kerja siswa dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode 4D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate) yang terbatas pada tahap Develop. Kriteria efektivitas diperoleh berdasarkan skor n-gainberdasarkan skor pre-test dan post-test. Efektivitas lembar kerja siswa dilihat dari nilai penilaian mind mapping danhasil belajar siswa. Hasil penilaian mind mapping memenuhi kriteria meningkat dengan kriteria dengan 0,7 dengankriteria tinggi 80% dan 0,3 dengan kriteria sedang 20%. Serta hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengankriteria ≥ 0,7 dengan kriteria tinggi 73,33% dan 0,3 dengan kriteria sedang 26,67%. Lembar kerja siswa denganstrategi pemetaan pikiran dinyatakan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai bahan pengajaran dalam hal meningkatkanhasil penilaian pemetaan pikiran dan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui hasil diklat yang dilaksanakan dalam menyusun RPP sebagaiimplementasi dari salah satu kemampuan paedagogik yang harus dimiliki oleh guru dalam upaya menciptakanpembelajaran yang bermakna, kreatif dan dinamis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yangdibatasi pada ranah mengukur kompetensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta diklat. RPP yang dihasilkan olehpeserta dikelompokkan dalam lima kategori yaitu a.Pengidentifikasian perumusan indikator dan tujuanpembelajaran, b. Pengembangan materi ajar,sumber belajar dan media belajar, c. Penentuan model dan metodepembelajaran, d. Penentuan skenario pembelajaran , e. Penyusunan Penilaian pembelajaran. Hasil interview dananalisis dokumen setelah dianalisi dengan instrumen telaah RPP didapatkan bahwa secara umum RPP yang dihasilkanoleh peserta diklat sudah dalam kategori baik, dengan penjabaran nilai akumulasi dari analisi dokumen sebagaiberikut: a. Pengidentifikasian perumusan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran mendapat skor 81,09, b.Pengembangan materi ajar,sumber belajar dan media belajar mendapatkan skor 85,33, c. Penentuan model danmetode pembelajaran mendapat skor 81,75, d. Penentuan skenario pembelajaran skornya 82,12 , e. PenyusunanPenilaian pembelajaran mendapat skor 81, 19. Hal ini menunjukkan akan manfaat yang diperoleh oleh peserta dalammeningkatkan kompotensinya.
