Procedia Studi Kasus dan Intervensi Psikologi (Procedia) merupakan publikasi berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Magister Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Procedia terbit mulai tahun 2013, terbit 4 kali setahun pada Maret, Juni, September dan Desember dalam bentuk elektronik/online. Artikel Procedia merupakan artikel hasil penelitian intervensi atau laporan praktik keprofesian psikologi. Procedia adalah publikasi akses terbuka dalam berbagai bidang intervensi psikologi, antara lain: klinis, sosial, pendidian, industri/organisasi dan perkembangan.

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) merupakan gangguan perilaku yang ditandai dengan perilaku yang suka menentang atau melawan perkataan, emosi yang mudah marah serta mudah tersinggung dan pendendam, yang dimana perilaku tersebut berlangsung dalam waktu selama 6 bulan. Asesmen yang dilakukan dalam kasus ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan Child Behavior Checklist, berdasarkan dari hasil asesemen menunjukkan bahwa subjek memiliki emosi yang mudah marah, perilaku menentang atau melawan perkataan orang tua serta guru dan mudah untuk melakukan balas dendam jika ia merasa terganggu. Penanganan yang diberikan kepada subjek yaitu dengan Modikasi perilaku dengan token economy sebanyak sembilan sesi. Modifikasi perilaku dengan teknik token economy bertujuan untuk mengurangi perilaku negatif subjek terutama pada perilaku menentang sehingga subjek dapat mematuhi dan mendengarakan nasehat dan perintah orang tua atau guru. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan bahwa subjek mampu untuk mengurangi perilaku menentang dengan subjek dengan tidak melawan nasehat yang diberikan dan meninggalkan lawan bicaranya saat sedang diajak berbicara.

Subjek berusia delapan tahun yang masih bersekolah di bangku kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Metode asesmen yang digunakan untuk mendiagnosa subjek menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes intelegensi (WISC). Hasil asesmen menemukan bahwa subjek didiagnosa mengalami disabilitas intelektual ringan dan juga mengalami perkembangan akademik yang lambat selain itu bahasa verbal subjek juga tidak jelas sehingga menghambat interaksi subjek dengan lingkungan. Intervensi yang digunakan dengan memberikan terapi perilaku dengan metode Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) menggunakan pendekatan expressive language yang berfokus untuk meningkatkan kelancaran bicara. Intervensi sebanyak 6 sesi dilakukan selama dua minggu. Tahapan terapi yang diberikan berupa menirukan ucapan, memberikan label pada suatu objek, mengucapkan kata sapaan, dan melatih menjawab pertanyaan sederhana dengan jelas. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan bahwa subjek mampu memiliki dan mengingat beberapa kata baru dan mengucapkan kata dengan jelas. Perubahan positif dalam kelancaran bicara dikarenakan adanya dukungan dari keluarga yang bersedia membimbing subjek dengan melakukan latihan seperti yang diberikan oleh terapis.

Subjek seorang anak perempuan berusia 11 tahun. Metode asesmen yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Setelah dilakukan asesmen, maka tujuan dari intervensi adalah untuk melatih kedisiplinan anak dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari. Intervensi yang digunakan dengan pemberian token economy dalam enam sesi. Sesi pertama dan kedua pemberian penjelasan terhadap keluarga dan subjek mengenai intervensi. Ketiga dan keempat, evaluasi dan pemecahan hambatan yang muncul saat intervensi. Sesi kelima terminasi dan terakhir follow up. Setelah dilakukan intervensi, subjek menjadi terbiasa untuk tidur cepat namun terkadang masih sulit untuk dibangunkan. Token yang didapatkan subjek sudah memenuhi target, ini disebabkan karena semangat subjek untuk menjalankan jadwal yang diberikan dan stempel yang didapat. Subjek juga tidak pernah terlambat meskipun terkadang masih terburu-buru saat berangkat sekolah.

Stress is an individual's perception of stressors and how individuals respond to stressors as indicated by their physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral reactions. The subjects in this study were final year students who were working on a thesis. They are demanded by their families to graduate immediately which makes them stressed. The assessment methods used are interview, observation and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). The intervention used was a self-help group consisting of six sessions and carried out in groups. The target of the intervention is to reduce the stress level of the subject. The results of the intervention showed that the stress level of the subject before the intervention was in the high category decrease in the medium-low category. This shows that the support among group members obtained from self-help groups can help the subjects find appropriate coping strategies to deal with their stress.

The family is the smallest unit of society that lives under one roof and is interdependent physically, psychologically and socially. In the family there are problems that can develop from the relationship between husband and wife. One of the problems that often arise in husband-wife relationships is communication patterns that hurt each other.Negative communication patterns that are repeated in everyday life form a person's assessment of others to become increasingly negative. If the negative communication pattern is maintained, the more severe the problems will be faced so that it can affect marital satisfaction in the household. Subjects are husband and wife who have problems with negative communication patterns. Data was collected using interviews, observations and the ENRICH marital satisfaction scale. Problems with negative communication patterns can be corrected with behavioral couples therapy (BCT).Interventions were carried out to improve communication patterns that were originally aversive and hurt each other to become more positive, thereby increasing marital satisfaction. BCT consists of 6 sessions. The results of the intervention show that the problem of negative communication patterns can be overcome effectively using behavioral couple therapy. Communication skills improve negative communication in partners. While the behavior exchange technique is effective in overcoming problems in interaction.

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) affects all aspects of individual development, including the ability to perform self-care activities, daily living, communication skills and social participation. In this case, the subject experienced a delay in speaking accompanied by symptoms of very poor eye contact, laughing excessively and without reason, speaking a language that was difficult to understand and often grasping the fingers of both hands and moving his feet which resulted in experiencing difficulties in carrying out his daily tasks such as bathing, dressing and eating is included as part of self-care. The assessments used were interviews, observation, Progressive Matrices Test for Children (CPM) and The Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS). The intervention given to improve the subject's self-care skills is the provision of positive reinforcement. The results of the intervention that has been given to the subject, behavioral therapy with positive reinforcement techniques are able to improve basic abilities in self-care, especially bathing to washing the face and head, dressing in button-up clothes and eating by not cleaning dirty hands on the clothes worn.

Anxiety is a psychological disorder that can interfere with daily activities. Individuals who experience anxiety will develop cognitive distortions and maladaptive behavior. In general, anxiety is characterized by feelings of irritability, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, difficulty concentrating, and heart palpitations. The purpose of this study was to see whether Cognitive Behavioral Therapy could reduce anxiety symptoms. The subject is one person, female and 26 years old. The assessment methods used are clinical interviews, observation, graphic tests, thematic perception tests, Beck Anxiety Inventory, self-report, WHODAS 2.0, and Mental Status Exam. The therapy used to overcome social anxiety is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with cognitive restructuring techniques and deep breathing relaxation techniques. Cognitive restructuring aims to replace negative thoughts with positive ones; while the relaxation technique aims to make the subject have the skills to control anxiety. The results of the therapy show that cognitive behavioral therapy can reduce anxiety symptoms.

Depression is a mood disorder characterized by the absence of hope, prolonged sadness, excessive feelings of helplessness, inability to make decisions, inability to concentrate, loss of enthusiasm for life, feelings of tension and a desire to end life or hurt oneself. The purpose of this study was to see whether self-injury behavior in depression could be reduced after giving Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The subject is twenty-three years old woman; suffer from depression and often self-harm. The assessments used were clinical interviews, observation, Beck Depression Inventory, graphic tests, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Thematic Apperception Test, and WHODAS. Frequency self -injury behavior subject was three times a week average. The intervention given is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reduce the frequency of self-injury by 10 sessions. The result shows that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is effective in reducing self-injury behavior and can reduce negative thinking in people with depression.

Self-care is a basic thing that must be owned by every individual, but not every individual able to carry out self-care activities, especially for children with disabilities. Many families with disabilities experience difficulties due to the lack of information and the lack of soft skills related to disability self-care problems, thus hampering their function in managing and carrying out roles in the community. Psychoeducation is carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of disability family forum (FKD) administrators regarding self-care for persons with disabilities. Psychoeducation was carried out in two stages with seven intervention sessions attended by 20 FKD members. The assessment used includes interviews, observations, pre-test and post-test sheets using multiple choice consisting of 10 questions. The results of providing psychoeducation showed a change in knowledge and an increase in skills in FKD management.The results of the post-test showed an increase in the knowledge of the administrators. A series of psychoeducational activities such as providing material, role play and discussions helped improve skills related to self-care for FKD administrators.

Problems of responsibility are often found in elementary school-aged children, especially related to self-regulations and doing assignments. Children have not been able to organize and direct themselves properly to achieve what they want. The aim of the research is to increase children self-regulation with play- therapy so that they become responsible. The research subjects were 10 elementary school students. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-randomized one group pre-test post-test design. The analysis of the study were tusing paired sample test. The result there was a significant difference in self-regulation scores between before and after the intervention was given.
