Abstract

The improvement of activity animation industry is developing step by step, alongside various new advancements that help the current liveliness progress. Activity is chosen because it can be a way to convey data through movies so that it is clearer. Meanwhile, modern advancement in Indonesia is rather slow so it is overwhelmed by the outside nations that occupied the developing areas first. However, in recent times, the domestic activity industry has grown through the movement of conveying social, cultural, and historical themes. Although constrained in terms of adequate, the human resources in Indonesia can be said to be very satisfactory. Therefore, this planning can be relied upon to enable all kinds of activeness sports in Indonesia as well as activities to get to know a wider area. Using the concept of the Smart Building approach can help support the creation of animations, which can help present an interesting perception with the use of efficient power for animation production.

Abstract

The design of the Museum of Modern Fine Arts is a place for artists to exhibit their works, because museums in North Sulawesi Province do not allow them to accept collections of modern art due to differences in museum classification, and there is no museum with the classification of art museums in North Sulawesi Province. The design theme for this design is Expressionism Architecture with the concept of Focus On Material. This design makes those who previously did not understand and have no interest in fine art develop a curiosity about something that is seen and become an attraction for the general public to visit. The design method used is the Five Step Design Process Method taken from the book "Introduction to Architecture" by James C. Snyder and Anthony J. Catanese (1985), where at the design stage it is arranged systematically and is commonplace to do and is suitable for students who are in the learning process. The stages are initiation, preparation, submission of proposals, assessment, and action. The result of this design is the application of the Expressionism Architecture theme with the concept of Focus On Material in the form of building masses that follow the shape of the site location, showing (exposure) the natural color of the building materials used, using monochrome colors, using glass material so that the building gets natural lighting, using an open circulation pattern in the exhibition space so that visitors can see the entire room directly, as well as in rooms where acoustics need to be considered, materials that can reflect sound and materials that absorb sound are used.

Abstract

West Lampung Regency is divided into 15 sub-districts with an area of 2,064 km2. West Lampung Regency only has 1 special hospital with a population of 304,874 residents and 86,761 families. The hospital is located in the city of Liwa, which is at the western end of West Lampung Regency. This makes it difficult for the community to access the reach of health services, especially when mothers give birth or check for pregnancy and child health due to the location of the hospital which is quite far from several sub-districts located at the eastern end of West Lampung. The distance from the sub-district which is at the easternmost tip to the hospital is 51.7 km, this will certainly be a problem for maternal and child health insurance in West Lampung. Based on these problems, the application of the required design is a design that can also be a therapeutic tool that can help the patient's healing process. Biophilic architecture is an alternative approach that can solve this problem. The purpose of this study is to apply the concept of biophilic architecture to maternal and child hospitals in West Lampung Regency.

Abstract

Cultural heritage buildings can be interpreted as witnesses to the journey of a country that can be found in every city throughout Indonesia. In line with this, the preservation of Cultural Heritage Buildings (BGCB) must meet technical requirements, preservation requirements, orderly operation of building buildings, and must be continuously maintained. One of the Cultural Heritage Buildings (BGCB) in Bandung City is the Indonesia Menggugat Building located on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, No. 5, Babakan Ciamis, Sumur Bandung, Babakan Ciamis, Kec. Sumur Bandung, Bandung City. In this research, the method used is a qualitative method with primary data collection techniques (direct observation) and secondary data (references and theories). These two techniques, it is expected to produce a comprehensive understanding of the research topic. The variables of this research are focused on 3 variables, namely the style, color, and texture of the material. Field surveys and interviews were also conducted to support the analysis of the preservation of the Building of Cultural Heritage (BGCB) Gedung Indonesia Menggugat in Bandung. The analysis carried out refers to several parts of the outer space and inner space of the Indonesia Menggugat Building which uses a lot of old materials that are still maintained and reused. Some of these materials such as window openings use teak wood material which is finished with brown lacquer paint to have a natural impression and have good durability. The results of the study show that the effect produced by the use of sustainable materials in the Indonesia Menggugat Building can give the impression that the building feels natural under the use of color in the material. The Neo Classic concept is seen in the texture of materials that are organized and comfortable to look at. The roof, walls, and openings have a positive influence on the expression of the building's outer space when viewed from color, texture, and pattern. In the inner space, sustainable material elements dominate, creating an attractive and expressive impression. The research conclusion shows that the application of sustainable materials with an ecological approach to architecture in the Indonesia Menggugat Building has been applied quite well.
