Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the effect of using Mobile Phone and Internet concerning to the students morality, great efforts of family (parents), teachers (school) and society to protect students from the bad effects of mobile phone use and ideal solution towards the students morality, particularly students at SMA N 3 Kota Kupang. This research used a qualitative description method. Data of this research were gathered from 10 students who usually used mobile phone at class, counseling teachers, citizenship teachers, members of school extracurricular organization, students’ parents, religious scholars and society figures by interview, observation, and documentation technique. The result of this research showed that using mobile phone and internet have positive and negative effects towards the students morality. The positive effects of mobile phone could be used effectively and efficiently as the tool of communication, particularly when communicating  to others in a long distance. Further we could make online communication which allowed us to get any information on communication and information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an authentic assessment instrument on a volleyball game with a peer assessment system approach. This research uses research and development method. Data analysis is done by following mechanism. First the validity of the content of the instrument by the judgment ekspert analyzed using Aiken formula, obtained the validity of 0.90 count. Both test data of the validity of grain (empirical), analyzed using Product Moment formula obtained correlation coefficient of all instrument items bigger than table price with significant 5% tarap, with the meaning of all instrument items valid. The three test data of internal consistency reliability of the instrument, analyzed using Alpha Cronbach formula, obtained the calculated value of 0.82, which stated that the reliability is very high. The five practicalities of the instrument were analyzed with the T Score formula, obtained by an average score of 50, which means that the instrument is classified as practical for students. This means that the results of the research and development of the performance appraisal instrument with the peeer assessment system model in the developed volleyball game have fulfilled the validity, reliability and practical requirements, and are expected to be an evaluation tool that can be used (alternativ) by the teacher of the school in primary and secondary schools (Junior high school, high school).

Abstract

This research aims to gather information and obtain gaps in the implementation of the school operational assistance (BOS) program to improve the quality of education. This study used a gap evaluation model (Discrepancy). The subjects of the research were the principal, the teacher (BOS treasurer), the school supervisor, the school committee, the District coordinator, and the parents of the students. Data were collected from research sites using observation techniques, document studies and interviews. Information obtained was analyzed by using the Miles and Hubermen model which included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the result of the study, there were still gaps in several aspects between implementation and standards of BOS program. Design aspect was following BOS 2019 Technical Guidelines. There was a gap at the installation stage; there were sudden and costly activities, while expenses must be adjusted to the liability letter (SPJ). At the implementation stage, there was a delay in the process of disbursing BOS, which was the main source of education funding. Thus, from the implementation stage it can be concluded that there are still gaps between the implementation of BOS with the Technical Guidelines.

Abstract

Art Market Sesela has important role in facilitating the craftsman and souvenir sellers in WestLombok Regency to sell their products. This place also becomes one of the most favorite spot for the touriststo enjoy art performances such as Stick Fighting, and other traditional dances. It is located in Sesela Village,Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency which is the center of traditional handicraft industry. This ArtMarket is regularly visited by domestic and foreign tourists. As to provide the maximum service to the tourists,the craftsmen and souvenir sellers should be provided with adequate English language skills. It is indispensablefor the craftsmen and souvenir sellers who mostly graduated from elementary school and reluctant to continuetheir education to the higher level as they cannot afford to pay school fees. As English language is importantfor the Craftsman and souvenir sellers in supporting their maximum service to the tourists, therefore the Teamis intended to provide training of Basic English for them. This is intended to enable the Craftsman and souvenirsellers to communicate in English appropriately. This program is expected to be implemented continuallyevery year.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the writing paper skills of students majoring in Elementary School teacher education study program. The research method used descriptive quantitative. The population of this study was 90 groups of students who programmed the Learning Outcomes Evaluation course. The sample consisted of 10 groups of students selected by purposive sampling based on the theme of their papers. The data were collected from the papers they compiled. Aspects that were evaluated are the systematics, introduction, discussion, conclusions, and references used. Additional data collected were the students’ assessment data on other group papers. The results of the analysis show that the degree of mastery of students in compiling papers was in a sufficient category. The ability to assess papers was still low. The difficulty lied in conformity to the template, writing the background, using sources, and presenting data in the form of tables or figures. All of these aspects were categorized as very low. This information can be used as a reference in developing a lecture system that can facilitate students to develop their skills in compiling papers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 3 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu (a) plan/perencanaan, (b) do/pelaksanaan, dan (c) see/refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis mengggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Batukliang.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of learning from home (LFH) during the Covid-19 pandemic seen from the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management theory. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Praya Barat Daya, Central Lombok Regency, NTB. The research subjects involved the principal of the school, while the informants were teachers and students who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the principal implemented management functions in accordance with the POAC theory in the implementation of LFH, namely: 1) planning, which was identifying data of students having gadgets followed by designing online and offline LFH preparations; 2) organizing, which was dividing students into two study groups, namely the online group and the offline group; 3) actuating, which was introducing facilities and infrastructure used in online and offline learning, followed by its implementation of LFH; and 4) controlling, which was implementing the evaluation of the LFH program at the school level carried out at the end of the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to implement a Problem-Based Learning model to improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Batukliang Utara. This research was a classroom action research with three cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class XII MIA 2 consisting of 20 students. Research instruments used were: (1) Lesson Plan implementation observation sheets, (2) students response questionnaires, and (3) learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentage completeness and students learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that the implementation of a problem-based learning model could improve the students learning outcomes of class XII MIA 2 at SMAN I Batukliang Utara Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of communicating early childhood in kindergarten Nurul Huda Selayar Sakra West Lombok Timur. The population in this study were all students who aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Nurul Huda Selayar which amounted to 30 students. Data collection technique using observation techniques as the principal method, and documentation as a complementary method. while the data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. From the analysis result that ability Communicating Early Childhood at Nurul Huda Kindergarten Selayar Sakra West Lombok Timur is in the category "Enough" with 65.33% percentage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions in increasing self-disclosure in broken home children in MTS N 1 Bandar Lampung. This type of research is an experimental study with the Single Subject Research (SSR) method. The subject is 14 years old grade IX student. The research design used is multiple baseline A1-B-A2. The instrument used is a scale developed from Devito's theory, which includes five dimensions, namely amount, valence, accuracy/honesty, intention, and intimacy. The   study   used   interrater   reliability   to display  the  reliability  of  the  data  findings.The results showed an effective mindfulness intervention to increase self-disclosure in broken home children. The results of the study provide new knowledge about mindfulness interventions in broken home children to increase self-disclosure so that it can be a reference for other research or individual institutions in the provision or application of mindfulness to help improve self-disclosure.
