Abstract

This study aims to explain in detail how the objective motivational conditions experienced by students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study was conducted at Universitas Kuningan involving 80 sixth semester students in the Elementary School Teacher Education study program. Data collection techniques used in this study were survey technique with a Likert scale. Survey was made through google form so that it was easily accessible by students. The data analysis technique used in this study was calculating the percentage of data from each indicator, interpreting the data presentation score andthen analyzing each indicator in depth. The results of this study indicated that the learning motivation of sixth semester students of the elementary school teacher education program at Universitas Kuningan was very good, in which the percentage score of motivation reached 80.27%. This study is expected to be an evaluation of various parties in organizing online learning in higher education, especially those involving motivation in it. This research is also expected to be a study material for other researchers in analyzing and developing student learning motivation in online learning during emergencies in higher education.

Abstract

The background study of this research was result of students’ mathematic achievement at fifth gradeof SDN 10 Mataram on FPB and KPK material was low. It caused by teachers didn’t use props which suitablein learning process. To solve problem above, it was conducted action with using props cart factor to improveresult of students’ mathematic achievement at fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram on FPB and KPKmaterials. Stage of this research consisted of planning, acting, observing, evaluating and reflecting. Subject ofthis research was all of fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram was 47 students, consisted of 21 femalestudents and 26 male students. Data of this research was result of students’ learning achievement and teachers’activities and students’ activities. Result of students’ learning was gotten with giving test and data of teachers’activities and students’ activities was gotten through observation sheet. Score of students’ activities was 20,66and teachers’ activities was 22,68 with very good category. And mean score of students was 79,02. That scoreshowed that there is improved from previous year got score 66,54. Beside that classical completeness wasimproved from academic year 2013/2014 with percentage of completeness was 32,61% become 85,11% inacedemic year 2014/2015. Conclusion of using prop cart factor was prop cart factor could improve result oflearning achievement on FPB and KPK materials at fifth grade students of SDN 10 Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of industrial work practice and academic ability towards students' perceptions of readiness to enter the world of work in class III of the Office Administration Department of SMKN 1 Jambi. This study used a quantitative method with a sample size of 84 respondents. The research data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students, then were analyzed by inferential statistics using simple regression and multiple regression data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was known that the contribution of X1 to Y was 22.7% with the regression equation Y = 50.962 + 0.942 X, which means that there was a positive effect of X1 on Y. Furthermore, the contribution of X2 to Y was 32.8% with the regression equation Y = 46.074 + 0.867 X, which means that X2 had a positive effect on Y. Then, the contribution of X1 and X2 to Y was 42.4% with the regression equation Y = 29.026 + 0.691 X1 + 0.727 X2. This means that the effect of industrial work practices (X1) and academic ability (X2) together (simultaneously) on readiness to enter the world of work (Y) was 42.4%, the remaining 57.6% was influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that industrial work practices and academic abilities contribute to students' perceptions of readiness to enter the world of work.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of students’ activity during the learning biology with implementing of Memory, Matrix Cards and Tournaments methods through scientific approaches. The study was conducted at class XI IPA 4 and class XI IPA 5 semester 2 in academic year 2016/2017 with the number of students as a sample was 64 students. Students’ activity was measured through indicators: (1) the students carried out the tasks which was assigned in groups; (2) students’ willingness to ask questions on issues didn’t know yet; (3) the students didn’t concern with other difficultiesin the group; (4) students participated in answering the problem; and (5) students provided ideas or opinions. Students’ activity was measured using observation sheet in involving three (3) teachers. The data of Students’ activity observing were measured using a scale of 4 (four) with a range of 1-4 where 1 = not active, 2 = less active, 3 = active, and 4 = very active. The data which was gotten then converted into a scale of values 1-100. Students’ activity was observed when the students acquired learning biology using memory, the matrix cardand tournaments methods. The data ofstudents’ activity in each method were collected in 3 (three) meetings of each method. The results showed that the students’ activity with cards method was 76.76, with a memory matrix method was 76.14, and the tournament method was 81.8

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know achieving organizing program of KUBE to solving poverty. Researchmethod used descriptive research with CIPP model evaluation research. Determining method of subject waspurposive sampling. Technique of data collection used interview technique, observation, documentationand questionnaire. Technique of data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Based theresult of research, it could be concluded that organizing Business Group (KUBE) program at LingkunganKarang Buaya was effective, it could be seen from changing of members’ condition before and after joinedBusiness Group (KUBE) program. Beside it has criteria that stated the program was effective, namely therewas alliances and partnerships, members included poor families and productive age, managers havecompetence in management field of entrepreneurial, high participated from members of group and therewere activities which supported development of groups, there was improvement in revenue andentrepreneurial skills of group members. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pelaksanaan program Kelompokusaha Bersama dalam mengatasi kemiskinan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitiandeskriptif dengan jenis penelitian evaluasi model CIPP. Metode yang digunakan dalam menentuan subjekadalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara,observasi, dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatifdan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Kelompok UsahaBersama “Dhiya MD” di Lingkungan Karang Buaya berjalan efektif hal ini dapat dilihat dari perubahankondisi anggota dari sebelum maupun sesudah mengikuti program Kelompok Usaha Bersama. Selain ituterpenuhinya kriteria-kriteria yang menyatakan program berjalan efektif yaitu adanya jalinan kerjasama ataukemitraan, anggota termasuk keluarga miskin dan termasuk dalam usia produktif, pengelola memilikikompetensi dalam bidang manajemen pengelolaan wirausaha, tingginya partisipasi dari anggota kelompokdan adanya kegiatan-kegiatan yang mendukung perkembangan kelompok, serta adanya peningkatanpendapatan dan kemampuan berusaha anggota kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the popular types of academic dishonesty, teachers' supervision, and the factors which motivate students to cheat. This research used the descriptive quantitative method with 260 students as respondents from 4 schools. Questionnaires were given online to the students. The data analysis technique used statistic descriptive. The result showed that the popular types of academic dishonesty among the students were asking their friends, carrying small notes, searching the answer on the web via cell phones, carrying textbooks, and etcetera. The teachers’ or supervisors’ supervision was good, but there were times when they were careless so that the students used the opportunity to cheat. During online examination supervision, the students stated that there was no particular supervision; therefore they took the advantage of this opportunity. The driving factors which caused the students to cheat were they considered the questions were too difficult; they did not have confidence in their own answers or abilities; they did not study; they had an opportunity to cheat; they wanted good grades, and they had some unanswered questions but the time was almost over.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to emphasize the effectiveness of group calrification counseling in modeling techniques for the academic honesty of students. This study uses a repetead measure experimental design with a pretest and multiple posttest design. The subjects in this study were 12 students in one private university, the city of Mataram. Data were collected using an academic honesty scale. Data analysis used repeated measure ANAVA statistics. The results of this study reveal that group counseling values clarification with modeling techniques effective to improve student academic honesty. As for the level of academic honesty of students viewed from gender there is no significant difference.

Abstract

This reseach was conducted with the aim of seeking a information about the implementation of BOS and to obtain a gap in the implementation of BOS at the BM Salatiga Christian Vocational School in improving the quality of education. This study uses an evaluation model, namely the evaluation of gap in the implementation of a program. The subjects in this study were the principal, BOS treasurers, parents and students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation and later analyzed using the Miles and Hubermen model which included data reduction, presentation and then drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is still a gap between the implementation and the BOS standards at BM Salatiga Christian Vocational School. At the design stage, the implementation of BOS is in accordance with the BOS 2020 Technical Guidelines. At the installation stage there are still gaps, including when there is an urgent expenditure and while the expenditure must be based on the SPJ. At the stage of the process, There were also gaps, including the delay in disbursement of fuds, where BOS was the main source in implementing learning in schools so that it could be concluded that there was still a gap between the implementation of BOS and the Technical Guidelines.

Abstract

This research aimed to know effectiveness of implementing academic supervisor in improving teachers’ competence in learning at class, which has benefit for head master to know teachers’ improvement in learning process.this research was conducted in two cycles, every cycle has four steps namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Indicator of completeness in this research was; 1) the result of headmasters’ observation and teachers’ observation as long as guiding had gotten mean score > 4,0, 2) result teachers’ mean score in learning process was > 85% with mean score was 70,00 (good category). The result in cycle I mean score of headmasters’ observation (3,80), mean score of teachers’ observation (3,00) and result of academic supervisor in target has mean score (66,12). In cycle II mean score of headmasters’ observation (4,40) with percentage of completeness (100%), mean score of teachers’ observation was (4,25) with percentage of completeness (100%) and mean score of academic supervisor was (84,92) with percentage of completeness (100%). Indicator of completeness was reached, this research was succees and stopped in cycle II. Conclusion; the result of this research in cycle II showed improvement of target teachers’ competence in learning process at real classroom. Suggestion for headmaster in order to conduct similar research in effort to improve teachers’ competence, and for teachers in similar subject in order to conduct teaching process based plan which has been arranged well, responsiple, commitment for improving students’ achievement based on subject that became their responsible.

Abstract

This study aims to know the extent the character of tolerance is embedded in the students. Through this social science subject, students can learn about the study of cultural diversity, the environment and community life which can be used as a forum for implementing tolerance characters in everyday life. This research method used a survey with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted in all Elementary Schools of Losari District, Brebes Regency. The research data were obtained from the results of filling out a questionnaire for grade IV teachers and students. The data analysis technique used was with the help of Microsoft Excel. The results of the analysis of teaching materials on ethnic and cultural diversity showed that 75% relevance was said to be in the good relevant category. The results of the research of all elementary school class teachers in Losari District on the implementation of the character of tolerance in the social science subject showed a relevance of 53.33% including the very good category. Then the results of the research of class IV students on the development of the character of tolerance in social science subjects showed a relevance of 66.67% which was categorized quite good. These results show that through the analysis of teaching materials for the diversity of ethnic groups and cultures in Elementary Schools of Losari District, it can be concluded that the character of tolerance in students of Elementary Schools has been implemented.
