Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management planning of boarding school-based flagship school programs at SMA Negeri Taruna Kasuari Nusantara, West Papua. The background of this research is based on the need to integrate academic education, character development, and discipline through 24-hour structured activities that support the formation of characterful, independent, and competitive students. The research uses a qualitative approach with case studies, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn, and validity was tested using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study show that planning at SMA Taruna Kasuari Nusantara is carried out systematically and participatory, involving the Education Office, school principals, teachers, dormitory coaches, and TNI partners. Planning includes the preparation of vision-mission, educational calendar, academic and non-academic schedules, character education base periods, mandatory extracurricular activities, and student life regulations (PERDUPSIS). Students' daily activities are designed to balance academics, worship, physical exercise, and character building. Despite the limitations of facilities and educators, government support through budgets and infrastructure is a key factor in the sustainability of the program. Overall, this planning management has succeeded in integrating goals, activities, and character values, so that it is expected to produce graduates who are faithful, disciplined, responsible, with leadership character, love for the homeland, and competitive in the global era. Abstract

Abstract: The quality of private universities in Indonesia still shows significant disparities. Some institutions have successfully improved the quality of their academic services and gained recognition thru excellent accreditation, while many others have fallen behind due to weak strategic planning and sustainable quality management. This difference poses serious challenges in achieving equitable access to quality higher education. One of the essential instruments that every university must implement is the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS), What is commonly known in the university environment is the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), designed to maintain consistency in quality standards thru the Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement (PIECI) cycle, or also known as PPEPP . However, the implementation of SPMI often faces obstacles, ranging from non-compliance with standards and weak evaluation to minimal involvement of work units and leaders in the quality culture. This article aims to analyze the factors causing quality inequality and formulate adaptive improvement strategies thru PESTEL and SWOT analysis. The research method uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with a case study at a private university experiencing obstacles in implementing SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System). The analysis results show that the inability to anticipate external changes and weak internal governance have led to quality stagnation, low effectiveness of self-evaluation, and limited competitiveness. This article offers a PESTEL and SWOT-based strategic framework to help private colleges build a more integrated, adaptive, and sustainable quality system to strengthen accreditation and enhance competitiveness at both national and international levels. Abstract

This study to aims to analyze the influence of moral-based civil servant work culture and work environment on the performance of Buddhist Education teachers in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that work culture and work environment significantly influenced teacher performance, with significance values of 0.001 and 0.000, respectively, and a coefficient of determination of 65.8%. This indicates that variations in teacher performance can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 34.2% are affected by other factors not examined in this study. The results highlight the importance of a work culture rooted in integrity, discipline, and morality, combined with a supportive and harmonious work environment, in enhancing teacher performance. The study is limited to Buddhist Education teachers in Jakarta. Future research is recommended to expand the scope across regions, include additional variables, and apply mixed-methods approaches. The impact of this study lies in its contribution to strengthening policies and managerial practices in schools that foster the ASN Ber-AKHLAK work culture and create a conducive work environment, thereby ensuring sustainable improvements in educational quality. Keywords: Work Culture, Work Environment, Teacher Performance, ASN Ber-Akhlak, Buddhist Education Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya kerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang berlandaskan moral serta lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Buddha di Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda melalui aplikasi SPSS versi 27. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa budaya kerja dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 dan 0,000, serta koefisien determinasi sebesar 65,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variasi kinerja guru dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel tersebut, sementara 34,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya budaya kerja berbasis integritas, disiplin, dan moralitas yang dipadukan dengan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada lingkup sampel yang hanya mencakup guru Pendidikan Agama Buddha di Jakarta. Penelitian berikutnya disarankan memperluas wilayah kajian, menambahkan variabel relevan, dan menggunakan metode campuran. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan kebijakan dan praktik manajerial di sekolah untuk menumbuhkan budaya kerja ASN Ber-AKHLAK dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, sehingga kualitas pendidikan dapat meningkat secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

This study aims to describe the management planning of the learning community in SMP Negeri 54 Batam City in order to improve teacher competence and learning quality. The research background is based on the importance of learning communities as a forum for collaboration, reflection, and professional development of educators in the era of Freedom of Learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The research informants included school principals, vice principals for curriculum, heads and members of the learning community, teachers, and student representatives. The results of the study show that the management planning of the learning community at SMP Negeri 54 Batam City includes four main stages: (1) coordination meetings to equalize perceptions, form vision-missions, and prepare work programs; (2) the formation of a learning community team with a clear division of tasks; (3) internal and external socialization to increase participation and support; and (4) the provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure such as meeting rooms, projectors, internet connections, and collaborative media. The obstacles faced include the limitations of modern facilities such as Smart TVs, exclusive special rooms, and documentation tools. The conclusion of the study shows that systematic and participatory learning community management planning is able to encourage a culture of continuous learning among teachers, although there is still a need to improve facilities and strengthen socialization strategies. The results of this research are expected to be a reference for other schools in developing an effective learning community and have a positive impact on the quality of learning. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan manajemen komunitas belajar di SMP Negeri 54 Kota Batam dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan mutu pembelajaran. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh pentingnya komunitas belajar sebagai wadah kolaborasi, refleksi, dan pengembangan profesional pendidik di era Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, ketua dan anggota komunitas belajar, guru, serta perwakilan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan manajemen komunitas belajar di SMP Negeri 54 Kota Batam mencakup empat tahap utama: (1) rapat koordinasi untuk menyamakan persepsi, membentuk visi-misi, dan menyusun program kerja; (2) pembentukan tim komunitas belajar dengan pembagian tugas yang jelas; (3) sosialisasi internal dan eksternal untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan dukungan; serta (4) penyediaan sarana dan prasarana penunjang seperti ruang pertemuan, proyektor, koneksi internet, dan media kolaboratif. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas modern seperti Smart TV, ruang khusus yang eksklusif, dan alat dokumentasi. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan manajemen komunitas belajar yang sistematis dan partisipatif mampu mendorong budaya belajar berkelanjutan di kalangan guru, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan fasilitas dan penguatan strategi sosialisasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi sekolah lain dalam mengembangkan komunitas belajar yang efektif dan berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of school principals' leadership style and teachers' performance on students' academic achievement at MTs. NW Kalijaga. The background of this research is based on the important role of school principals in creating a conducive learning environment and the effectiveness of teachers' performance in delivering learning materials. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 100 students selected using proportional random sampling from the population of 7th and 8th grade students. The results of the analysis show that partially, the leadership style of school principals has no significant effect on students' academic achievement (t = 1.105; sig. = 0.272), and neither does teacher performance individually (t = -1.906; sig. = 0.060). However, simultaneously, the leadership style of school principals and teacher performance have a significant effect on students' academic achievement (F = 3.108; sig. = 0.049). The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.060, indicating that the contribution of the two independent variables to students' academic achievement is only 6%. Although the contribution is relatively low, the F-test results show a statistically significant combined effect). Key Words: Leadership Style, Teacher Performance, Student Academic Achievement. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa di MTs. NW Kalijaga. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif serta kinerja guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran secara efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling dari populasi siswa kelas VII dan VIII. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (t = 1,105; sig. = 0,272), demikian pula kinerja guru tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara individual (t = -1,906; sig. = 0,060). Namun, secara simultan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (F = 3,108; sig. = 0,049). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,060 menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi kedua variabel bebas terhadap prestasi belajar siswa hanya sebesar 6%. Meskipun kontribusi tersebut tergolong rendah, namun hasil uji F menunjukkan adanya pengaruh secara bersama-sama yang signifikan secara statistik). Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level plays a strategic role in developing students' logical, creative, and critical thinking skills. However, many students still face difficulties in understanding number concepts and performing basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Domino Puzzle-based learning media in improving the arithmetic skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu. This research used a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test on 30 students using 10 evaluation questions. Data were analyzed using the N-Gain formula. The results show an average N-Gain score of 0.81, which falls into the high category, indicating that this learning media is effective in enhancing students' arithmetic skills. This media not only improves calculation skills but also supports students' motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding. Therefore, the sustainable application of Domino Puzzle media is recommended to strengthen mathematics learning achievement in elementary schools. Abstrak: Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar memegang peran strategis dalam membentuk keterampilan berpikir logis, kreatif, dan kritis siswa. Namun, banyak siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep bilangan dan melakukan operasi dasar seperti penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian, dan pembagian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis Domino Puzzle dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas V SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test pada 30 siswa, menggunakan 10 soal evaluasi kemampuan berhitung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan rumus N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,81, termasuk kategori tinggi, yang menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa. Media ini tidak hanya memperkuat keterampilan berhitung, tetapi juga mendukung motivasi, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Oleh karena itu, penerapan media Domino Puzzle secara berkelanjutan dianjurkan untuk memperkuat pencapaian pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of consultative leadership in creating effective schools and its contribution to reducing students' short attention span through improving cognitive-emotional wellbeing. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) design assisted by SmartPLS 3. The research sample consisted of 11th grade students from four public high schools in Pasuruan City, selected through simple random sampling. The results show that consultative leadership has a significant effect on cognitive-emotional wellbeing in reducing short attention span. Simultaneously, the variables of consultative leadership and cognitive-emotional wellbeing contribute 23.6% to the reduction in short attention span. These findings emphasize the importance of effective schools and strengthening cognitive-emotional wellbeing as key strategies for improving students' learning focus, while consultative leadership plays a stronger role in building a collaborative culture in schools. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbantuan SmartPLS 3. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dari empat SMA Negeri di Kota Pasuruan yang ditentukan melalui simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan konsultatif berpengaruh  terhadap cognitive-emotional wellbeing signifikan dalam menurunkan short attention span. Secara simultan, variabel kepemimpinan konsultatif, cognitive-emotional wellbeing memberikan kontribusi sebesar 23,6% terhadap penurunan short attention span. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran sekolah efektif dan penguatan wellbeing kognitif-emosional sebagai strategi utama untuk meningkatkan fokus belajar peserta didik, sementara kepemimpinan konsultatif berperan lebih kuat dalam membangun budaya kolaboratif di sekolah.
