Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of performance controlling of village officials based on quality management at the Mulya Agung Village Office, Lalan Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency. It examines the standard-setting process, the implementation of activities in controlling the performance of village officials based on quality management, compares actual performance with predetermined criteria, and explores ways to address problems in controlling the performance of village officials at the Mulya Agung Village Office. This research uses a qualitative method through field-based approaches, primarily using interviews. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis are carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The informants in this study consist of the village head, village officials, the village consultative body, and local community members. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation, including source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the performance controlling of village officials at the Mulya Agung Village Office has been running well, as shown by the implementation of controlling in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. For instance, when addressing performance-related issues among village officials or employees, the village head, together with all stakeholders, holds joint meetings or deliberations. These meetings help produce solutions that increase compliance and discipline among stakeholders, raise awareness among those facing issues, and serve as valuable lessons for the future. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of employees in public service at the Sukadana Village Office, Buay Bahuga District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung. The research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The informants consist of 14 individuals, with data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The data validity check was performed using triangulation. Based on the results and discussion regarding employee performance in public service at the Sukadana office, there has generally been an improvement in service quality in various aspects. However, some issues still need to be addressed, such as limitations in facilities and infrastructure, and inconsistencies in employee professionalism. In terms of quantity, the volume of service is considered high, although its implementation is sometimes hindered by time constraints and an unoptimized filing system. Overall, employees have shown responsibility and followed work procedures, although there are still delays in some administrative processes that need attention. Abstract

This study aims to uncover and describe various forms of student behavior that indicate a lack of discipline among grade XI students of Rehoboth Christian High School, as well as to explain in depth how the process of implementing group counseling services is carried out in overcoming this undisciplined behavior. The background of this study is rooted in the emerging discipline problems, especially those involving students from Negeri Kariuw, who are victims of social conflicts that occur in their home areas. In its implementation, this study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods, while data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation of various relevant sources. The subjects of this study consisted of five grade XI students, a guidance and counseling (BK) teacher, one homeroom teacher, and one vice principal who has a role in supervising students. The results of the study showed that undisciplined behavior found included students being late to school, non-compliance with applicable dress codes, and violations of the rules and norms set by the school. Through the implementation of group counseling services, it is proven that students get space to speak openly, receive emotional support, and strengthen their understanding of the importance of discipline through interactions that occur among group members. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that group counseling services are effective in helping to suppress undisciplined behavior and also encourage the formation of positive attitudes and student responsibility towards the rules that apply in the school environment. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to conduct an evaluation review of the effectiveness of using direct instruction in educational psychology. In this review, the author analyzes various aspects ranging from the underlying theory, application, and influence on student learning outcomes and motivation. This study uses a comprehensive literature review method, with data taken from various sources such as journal articles, textbooks, and other related publications. The results of the study show that direct instruction is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in subjects that are structured and skill-based. This approach can increase the efficiency of the learning process, provide students with a program-like structure, and enable them to master the material gradually. However, the effectiveness of direct instruction tends to vary depending on student characteristics, subject type, and the quality of the method's implementation. Abstrak: Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk melakukan review evaluasi tentang efektivitas penggunaan pembelajaran langsung dalam psikologi pendidikan. Dalam review, penulis menganalisis beragam aspek mulai dari teoretis yang mendasari, penerapan, dan pengaruh terhadap hasil serta motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur secara menyeluruh, data diambil dari berbagai sumber seperti artikel jurnal, buku teks, dan publikasi-publikasi lain berkaitan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran langsung cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran yang strukturnya terorganisir dan berdasarkan keterampilan. Pendekatan ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses belajar, memberikan struktur bersifat program kepada siswa, serta memungkinkan mereka untuk menguasai materi secara bertahap. Meskipun, efektivitas pembelajaran langsung cenderung bervariasi bergantung kepada karakteristik siswa, jenis mata pelajaran, dan pada kualitas pelaksanaan metode tersebut. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Langsung, Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Strategi Pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the use of epic pens in mathematics education 2 courses. The method of this research is quantitative descriptive. The subjects of this study are 26 students of the Elementary Education Study Program (PGSD) Semester five of the Open University. The instrument used was 8 questions. The results of the study obtained an average score on a scale of five, which was 4.37. These results when consulted with the Weighted Means Score (WMS) table in the range of 4.01 - 5.00 indicate a very effective category. So it can be concluded that the epic pen is very effective in the mathematics education course 2 PGSD semester five of the Open University. Keywords: Effectiveness, Epic Pen, Mathematics, Education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pemanfaatan epic pen pada mata kuliah pendidikan matematika 2. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriftif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 26 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar (PGSD) Semester lima Universitar Terbuka. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu 8 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian perolehan skor rata-rata pada skala lima yaitu 4,37. Hasil tersebut jika dikonsultasikan dengan tabel Weighted Means Score (WMS) pada rentang 4,01 - 5,00 menunjukkan kategori sangat efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa epic pen sangat efektif digunakan pada mata kuliah pendidikan matematika 2 PGSD semester lima Universitas Terbuka. Abstract

The problem of bullying in schools is a crucial issue that threatens the safety and comfort of the learning environment for students. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of anti-bullying policies at SMAN 1 Panyipatan in response to Permendikbudristek Number 46 of 2023. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of the principal, TPPK teachers, students, and school committees. The results of the study show that the school has formed a Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK), conducted socialization, provided an anonymous reporting box, and strengthened the role of BK teachers and communication with parents. However, significant challenges are still encountered, such as low understanding of the policy, minimal technical training, and limited facilities. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of synergy between schools, parents, and the education office in supporting the policy systematically. The implication is that it is necessary to strengthen human resource capacity, regular monitoring, and develop a child-friendly reporting system so that this policy can be implemented effectively and sustainably

Abstract

Administration of educational facilities and infrastructure plays an important role in supporting the smooth running of the learning process in schools. This study aims to describe the stages of management of facilities and infrastructure and the role of school residents in its implementation, with a case study at SMA Negeri 2 Dusun Hilir. The method used is qualitative descriptive with interview techniques. The results of the study indicate that management is carried out systematically through six stages: planning, procurement, inventory, maintenance and supervision, deletion, and evaluation and reporting, involving the principal, teachers, and staff. Orderly and participatory management has been shown to increase the effectiveness of learning and the quality of education in schools. Key Words: Effectiveness, Facilities and Infrastructure, School Management Abstrak: Administrasi sarana dan prasarana pendidikan berperan penting dalam mendukung kelancaran proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tahapan pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana serta peran warga sekolah dalam pelaksanaannya, dengan studi kasus di SMA Negeri 2 Dusun Hilir. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui enam tahapan: perencanaan, pengadaan, inventarisasi, pemeliharaan dan pengawasan, penghapusan, serta evaluasi dan pelaporan, dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf. Pengelolaan yang tertib dan partisipatif terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Kata Kunci: : Efektifitas, Sarana dan Prasarana, Manajemen Sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student management strategies in supporting extracurricular Scout activities and their impact on character building and student achievement at SMAN 1 Cisaga, Ciamis. The background of this study is based on the reality of the low effectiveness of scout activities in schools, which results in minimal student involvement and suboptimal character-building outcomes. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The results indicate that the main challenges in implementing scouting activities include low student participation, limited resources, low motivation, insufficient trainer training, and poor communication. The student management strategies implemented include the development of participatory programs, capacity building for instructors, and creating a supportive environment. Systematic scouting activities have been shown to improve discipline, leadership, independence, and academic achievement among students. This study recommends strengthening participatory and evaluative extracurricular management policies and cross-sector collaborations to support successful character building through scouting. These findings are expected to contribute to more responsive and contextual educational management practices at the secondary-school level. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen kesiswaan dalam mendukung kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dan dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter serta prestasi siswa di SMAN 1 Cisaga, Ciamis. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada realitas rendahnya efektivitas pelaksanaan Pramuka di sekolah, yang berakibat pada minimnya keterlibatan siswa dan tidak optimalnya hasil pembinaan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Pramuka meliputi partisipasi siswa yang rendah, keterbatasan sumber daya, rendahnya motivasi, kurangnya pelatihan pembina, dan lemahnya komunikasi. Strategi manajemen kesiswaan yang diterapkan meliputi penyusunan program partisipatif, pengembangan kapasitas pembina, dan penciptaan lingkungan pendukung. Kegiatan Pramuka yang dikelola secara sistematis terbukti mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan, kepemimpinan, kemandirian, serta prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kebijakan manajemen ekstrakurikuler berbasis partisipatif dan evaluatif, serta kolaborasi lintas pihak untuk mendukung keberhasilan pembinaan karakter melalui Pramuka. Temuan ini diharapkan berkontribusi terhadap praktik manajemen pendidikan yang lebih responsif dan kontekstual di tingkat sekolah menengah. Kata kunci: Manajemen Kesiswaan, Pramuka, Ekstrakurikuler

Abstract

The quality of learning in madrasahs must continually be improved in response to increasingly complex educational demands. This study aims to describe the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) in improving the quality of learning at MAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. The research method used is qualitative with a field research approach. The research instruments consisted of interview guides, observation sheets, and documentation. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and the school committee; direct field observations; and document analysis. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that SBM was implemented through the involvement of all school stakeholders in decision-making, improving teacher competence through training, optimizing learning facilities, and active parental involvement in supporting the learning process. The conclusion of this study shows that SBM plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of learning when implemented in a participatory and sustainable manner. Key Words: School-Based Management, Learning Quality, School Participation Abstrak (Indonesia): Mutu pembelajaran di madrasah perlu terus ditingkatkan seiring tuntutan pendidikan yang semakin kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di MAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan field research. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah, guru, dan komite, observasi langsung di lapangan, serta studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi MBS dilakukan melalui pelibatan semua unsur madrasah dalam pengambilan keputusan, peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan, optimalisasi sarana pembelajaran, serta keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa MBS berperan signifikan dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran apabila dilaksanakan secara partisipatif dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

Educational supervision plays a strategic role in improving teacher competence and learning quality, particularly in secondary schools. However, supervision in Indonesia is often administrative and lacks adaptability to institutional dynamics. This study aims to analyze the contribution of supervision to the development of teachers' teaching skills, evaluate effective supervision models, and identify challenges in implementing innovative supervision at SMP Angkasa Margahayu, Indonesia. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques, including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The informants consisted of the school principal and eight active teachers. Data were analyzed thematically using triangulation techniques to enhance the validity of the findings. Collaborative, reflective, and training-based supervision significantly improves teachers' pedagogical skills. An effective supervision model involves peer mentoring, constructive feedback, and technology use. However, teacher resistance, time constraints, limited resources, and external involvement remain major challenges to its implementation. Strategically and contextually designed supervision can serve as a sustainable instrument for teachers’ professional development. Integration of reflective approaches and structural policies is needed to overcome implementation barriers. Keywords: Educational supervision, Strategic Instrument, Profesional Abstrak. Supervisi pendidikan memainkan peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan mutu pembelajaran, terutama di sekolah menengah. Namun, pelaksanaan supervisi di Indonesia kerap bersifat administratif dan kurang adaptif terhadap dinamika institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi supervisi terhadap pengembangan keterampilan mengajar guru, mengevaluasi model supervisi yang efektif, dan mengidentifikasi tantangan implementasi supervisi inovatif di SMP Angkasa Margahayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan delapan guru aktif. Data dianalisis secara tematik menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk meningkatkan validitas temuan. Supervisi yang bersifat kolaboratif, reflektif, dan berbasis pelatihan menunjukkan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan keterampilan pedagogis guru. Model supervisi efektif melibatkan peer mentoring, feedback konstruktif, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Namun, resistensi guru, keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan keterlibatan eksternal masih menjadi tantangan besar dalam pelaksanaannya. Supervisi yang dirancang secara strategis dan kontekstual mampu menjadi instrumen pembinaan profesional guru yang berkelanjutan. Diperlukan integrasi antara pendekatan reflektif dan kebijakan struktural untuk mengatasi hambatan implementasi. Kata kunci: Supervisi pendidikan; Instrumen Strategi, Profesional.
