Abstract

In this millennial era, education is a need that must be prioritized. It can be seen from the progress in the field of education in Indonesia. Its development is increasingly showing rapid significance. But the irony is that the rapid development of education is also not free from various kinds of severe and diverse challenges and fierce competition at the regional and national levels. One crucial problem that illustrates the success and failure that often occurs in higher education is dropout. The student dropout rate is often associated with public interest in higher education, public interest often concludes that if the dropout rate is high then the quality of the campus can be said to be low, conversely if the student dropout rate is low then the quality of the campus is high. Research was conducted to find the application of the k-means clustering method in early detection of potential student dropouts using the k-means data meaning algorithm. The approach in this research is mixed methods research explanatory design model, where researchers conduct quantitative research with manova analysis and followed by qualitative research, the data used in quantitative methods are used to map students with the highest dropout potential to the lowest dropout potential using k-means clustering data analysis, while qualitative research uses a data base. The results of research on data analysis of mapping students who are potential dropouts resulting from k-means clustering data analysis for IAIN Kediri obtained 10 clusters with a silhouette coefficient value of 0.790 and 3 clusters with a silhouette coefficient value of 0.770. While at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, 8 clusters were obtained with a silhouette coefficient value of 0.840 and 5 clusters with a silhouette coefficient value of 0.820. Based on the silhouette coefficient value data both at IAIN Kediri and UIN Sunan Ampel which is between 0.7 < SC ≤ 1, it is concluded that the cluster model obtained has a strong structure. The effect of k-means clustering method on academic advising management is explained from the results of MANOVA analysis for student data of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya shows there is a significant difference between k-means clustering method on academic advising management at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with the value of F(469.179) = 8, p = 0.000., and there is a significant effect between k-means clustering method on academic advising management at IAIN Kediri with the value of F(244.8227) = 10, p = 0.000.While the effect of the k-means clustering method on early detection of student dropout is explained from the results of Manova analysis for data from UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya which shows a significant influence between the k-means clustering method on early detection of student dropout at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with a value of F (1,272,286) = 8, p 0. 000 there is a significant influence between the k-means clustering method on early detection of student dropout at IAIN Kediri. the results of qualitative data analysis are presented in 4 major sections, namely regarding the management of academic advising in planning, organizing, implementing and supervising academic advising in dropout prevention efforts at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and IAIN Kediri.

Abstract

The emergence of technological developments has forced the Government to implement a new system in all fields, one of which is Electronic Mortgage Rights (HT-el) in order to speed up the land registration process at the National Land Agency (BPN). However, the system experienced various procedural and technical problems, such as system maintenance and errors in the HT-el registration process that occurred in Kantah, Tasikmalaya City. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the cancellation of Electronic Mortgage registration due to the delay in completing the registration file and the effectiveness of the implementation of electronic Mortgage registration at the Tasikmalaya City Land Office. This research is a sociological juridical legal research and uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that a) the implementation of the cancellation of the Electronic Mortgage Right will result in the cancellation of the revocation and the system will automatically delete the registration application, so that the PPAT must submit a new HT-el registration application, issue a new PNBP Deposit Order for payment of re-registration, and The PPAT will still be held liable in a civil manner if there is a loss for the parties. And b) the effectiveness of the implementation of HT-el registration at the Tasikmalaya City Land Office at this time after the COVID-19 pandemic, it is felt that the HT-el registration process is quite good but not optimal because there are still several obstacles so that the implementation of HT-el is not in accordance with existing procedures on Juknis HT-el. There needs to be a solution to overcome the obstacles that occur internally and externally.

Abstract

The current globalization has led Indonesian society to distort the nation’s character education. In fact, character education is a very important foundation of the nation and needs to be instilled early in chiidren, as well as in adolescents who are stepping into adulthood. The current changing conditions encourage students to have high and strong religiosity. With a strong religiosity, students can become a strong person who is not easily swayed by changing times. The Dzikir and Sholawat assembly at UNISBA , apart from being a medium for Dzikir and a medium for student character devalopment, is expected to be a medium for strengthening the religious character of students. The difference in attitude between students shows the difference between those who follow regularly and those who never follow at all. Abstract

This research describes the practice of Zakat as an application of Islamic religious education to the fishermen community of Harapan Island. The method used to get data is structured interviews. The description uses theological and sociological approaches. The results reveal theoretically, the people of Harapan Island are not proficient in explaining the meaning of Zakat worship, even though their practice is inversely proportional. They are a religiously devout society, trying to fulfill all the obligations ordered by Allah. That is proven by continuing to pay Fitrah Zakat and assets Zakat even though they are in a mediocre state. Education with the practice of Zakat worship is to give an example first, then inform the family of the benefits according to religion, health, and social when fulfilling obligations, especially the three Zakat services. Furthermore, advise family members if they don't fulfill it and provide training according to their respective abilities.

Abstract

Developing countries have responded to the extremely rapid growth of the digital economy and new associated model platforms by introducing measures to regulate them. However, these measures most often appear to already be outdated. Simultaneously, competition law seems unable to control these evolutions, in part because of the tools which are inapplicable to this new economy. Competition law has demonstrated a flexibility allowing it to adapt to different sectors. Far from pushing for disguised or authoritarian interventionism, it supports changing the culture, tools and procedures used and moving towards regional cooperation to better understand the digital economy. There is no doubt that speed of execution is a key element in determining its effectiveness. Hence, this contribution also examines using provisional measures as procedural tools. Developing countries must pursue developments that will profoundly change their societies and foundational legal standards. The increasing emergence of connected objects on the market will create or modify many interdependent markets, which may in turn highlight new issues. Thus, it will be necessary for these countries to know how to address the problems that will arise, including the question of the local economy and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). Competition law and the competition authorities that practice it must evolve to accompany changes and ensure the proper function of the economies of developing countries.

Abstract

This article aims to review the tension between the Supreme Court Circular Number 2 of 2023 regarding Guidelines for Judges in Adjudicating Cases of Registration of Marriages between Different Religious and Belief Communities (SEMA) and Law Number 24 of 2013 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2006 concerning Population Administration (Adminduk Law), which creates a contradictory situationregarding interfaith marriages. Interfaith marriages havesparked controversy because they are not explicitly accommodated in Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. As a result, parties involved in legal disputes face difficulties in navigatingthe applicable regulations. This article is a normative research with a conceptual approach. The research results indicate a conflict between SEMA and the Adminduk Law regarding interfaith marriages in Indonesia, creating inconsistency in legal regulations. SEMA, as a Supreme Court guideline, suggests rejection of approval, while the Adminduk Law allows it with court determination as a condition. Hans Kelsen's Stufen theory shows a legal hierarchy, with theAdminduk Law above SEMA. However, the inconsistency between the two poses challenges in achieving legal certainty and balancing diversity. The implementation of the Stufen Theory inIndonesia involves a hierarchy of regulations, with SEMA included as a type of regulation.Although SEMA applies in the judiciary, debates surrounding the rejection of interfaithmarriages highlight the inconsistency with the Adminduk Law.
