Abstract

Higher Education is an educational institution that plays a role in producing quality human resources. The roles, duties and responsibilities of lecturers are very important in educating the nation's life and national goals. There are many problems that cause the performance of lecturers at universities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, lecturers are required to give good performance. In this case, the researcher is interested in evaluating the performance of lecturers using the promethee method. The promethee method is able to produce decisions based on comparisons between alternatives according to the preference function and the different weights of each criterion. The criteria used in the assessment of lecturer performance are 10 criteria with 7 alternative lecturers. The Promethee method produces recommendations for lecturers with the best performance, namely Lecturer E who has a net flow value of 0.12153. While the lecturer with the lowest performance assessment is Lecturer B with a net flow value of -0.19167. The results of the decisions given by the promethee method can help provide an assessment of the lecturer's performance from the several alternatives given. So as to be able to produce an objective recommendation decision

Abstract

Motorcycles are one of the main means of transportation for some people in carrying out their daily activities. Efficient, cost-effective time to the destination, as well as maintenance tools that are quite easy to obtain, make this motorcycle a priority among the community, and this is evidenced by the number of motorcycle users compared to other means of transportation on the road. From the description above, the author makes a system that can make it easier for users to find out problems that occur in the motor, which cause damage so that it can interfere with the activities to be carried out. The system that will be made is an expert system for detecting web-based motorcycle damage. This expert system is made using the BFS method, which is a combination of the two methods so as to produce the best decision from the two searches. The Best First Search method is a merger or combination of the Depth First Search and Breadth First Search methods. Depth First Search method or in-depth search, in this method the expert system will conduct an intensive and in-depth search of the given value or variable. And the Breadth First Search method works by analyzing each root node for immediate testing. From these results it can be concluded that the system is feasible to use and can be used as an alternative solution for the community. Make it easy for motorcycle users to find solutions for motorcycle damage, and make it easier for mechanics to repair motorcycles if they forget the symptoms of motorcycle damage experienced.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the warehouse capacity of PT. XYZ in storing hospital bed supplies can use the EOQ( Economic Order Quantity)  method to determine the warehouse capacity in hospital bed supplies. The EOQ method seeks to achieve minimum inventory levels, lower costs and better quality. The EOQ method in the company will be able to minimize the occurrence of out of stock so that it does not interfere with the process and is able to save inventory costs incurred by the company. February showed that the company assembled 230 units, selling 151 units. Meanwhile, to avoid excess units, the number of assembly that must be done is 4,425 with the purchase of 2 units, Safety Stock 74.34 units and ROP 151 units. The calculation uses the EOQ method which shows that the safety stock that must always be available at PT. XYZ for unit inventory is as much as 230 units, meaning the company must have an inventory of 74.34 units in order to anticipate a shortage of units during the grace period without hampering the assembly process

Abstract

Data is very important. In today's era, any activity will involve data. Likewise, schools of course have large piles of data. A lot of data needs to be stored so that it can be managed better, the storage certainly requires a computer system in the form of a server. The server itself has several types that can be used, one of which is a local server and a cloud server. Of the several types of servers, of course, there are many variants of servers that are applied by agencies, especially in this case educational institutions or schools. In this study, several secondary schools were taken to compare which one had a higher success rate of implementation. The analysis was carried out using the Delone MClean method. The result is that the implementation of local servers has a higher success rate than cloud servers.

Abstract

The role and position of data in today's digital era are very important, data can be likened to a resource that can be explored further to produce new information or knowledge. Seeing the importance of data position, several solutions can be offered in getting more value from data, one of which is the use of Data Mining techniques with association techniques, several types of association techniques are a priori algorithms and FP-Growth algorithms. Based on the research results, the a priori algorithm produces a combination of goods with a confidence value of 98.4 and a support value of 98.4, and the algorithm produces a combination of goods with a support value of 95.2 and a confidence value of 95.2. The comparison of these two algorithms in making associations results in a faster execution time of the FP-Growth algorithm than Apriori, and the Apriori algorithm produces more varied itemset combinations.

Abstract

Children in their in junior high school, still have many difficulties in learning, especially in calculating subjects such as mathematics. In class 7, 8, 9 a variety of variations of arithmetic operations one of which is arithmetic material. In addition to learning methods in the classroom, other methods such as practicing questions and also learning through games can be used. The method used in making mathematics learning applications in the form of this educational game is SDLC Waterfall. Starting from the analysis stage, flowchart design, storyboarding, asset programs, coding and making application logic to the testing stage, and finally the maintenance stage of the program in the form of an Android-based educational game that has been completed. Educational game about arithmetic material, starting from level 1 the player passes the enemy and picks up one book, after getting a book a question will appear, the player will get a value of 20 in each question asking for correct, if wrong then rating 0, if all books have been collected and all questions has been answered then the door at the end of the scene will open to proceed to the next level up to the last level which is 4. The results of manual tests and educational games also show an increase in student test scores, which can only be obtained with a value of 40, 6% to 53.2 %. It can be concluded that this educational game is feasible to be implemented in Pancasila 4 Pracimantoro Junior High School.

Abstract

Lecturers who apply for letters related to research and service to the community often have difficulty filing letters and take a long time. This is because the institute of research and community services of State Islamic University (LP2M UIN) Salatiga does not have a system to manage mail messages that are systematized and can be accessed quickly. The need to find a way to solve existing problems by providing a mail management information system (ESurat) program that can be used to handle the writing letter process carried out by lecturers. The Web-based mail management information system (ESurat) is a way to handle letter submissions by professors so that professors can obtain mail faster and be developed using waterfall methods. Using PHP programming languages, MySQL databases and CodeIgniter frameworks in the construction of a web-based mail management information system (ESurat). The research results that the application can be used to handle the letter submission process carried out by UIN Salatiga lecturers managed by the institute of research and community services of State Islamic University (LP2M UIN) Salatiga.

Abstract

A set-top box (STB) is a device that converts digital signals into images and sounds that we can see on a regular analog television (TV). More and more people are looking for STB these days because the ordinary use of analog television (TV) will end in December 2022. The discontinuation of the normal use of analog television (TV) has generated a lot of positive, neutral, and negative sentiments. This sentiment data was obtained from social media Twitter using crawling data techniques. The feature extraction process in this study uses the TF-IDF method. In this study Stochastic Gradient Descent Classifier (SGDC) is used as a basis for determining the optimal method and comparing the SGDC tuning method with the Calibrated Classifier method. The test results show that the best optimization for this model is the Calibrated Classifier method with SGDC as its basis with an accuracy value of 80% on the test data and 100% on the training data. It shows that the Calibrated Classifier method can slightly improve the performance of testing and training on the SGDC Classifier has an accuracy value of 78.4% on the test data and 100% on the training data.

Abstract

In the current development of information technology facilities that are so rapid and complex, the reliability of a system that processes data properly will produce good information. The use of computers today is not only to help human work, but has also replaced human work in various fields. The purpose of this research is to design an image model in an application program. This existing digital image can then be used for various purposes. One way is to take photos on a driver's license (SIM), when taking photos directly using a digital camera and facial photo files are also directly stored in the police database. So this facial photo recognition program can actually also be applied by the police to recognize the faces of criminals. From the 10 experimental samples, it can be concluded that the best LearnRates with the lowest ErrorLevel for BMP format files are for learnrate 0.2 with an error rate of 18,54229 and a match rate of 81,45771 with a recognition rate of more than 60% in photo 2, while with an error rate of 51.00543 and a match level 48,99457

Abstract

A company that utilizes information technology optimally can survive in this global era, because by utilizing information technology companies can access information quickly, precisely and accurately and can provide effective and efficient services. Companies need technological assistance such as an application that can increase customer satisfaction. Service quality needs to get great attention from the company, because service quality has a direct relationship with the company's competitive ability and profit level. The research method used is a descriptive method that collects data systematically. This descriptive research method is supported by the Waterfall model software development method.
