Abstract

Retirement is a period that will be experienced by all employees who have reached retirement age. This condition is often a hot topic of conversation among employees, especially employees who will soon enter retirement. People often think that entering the retirement period is a period of rest and is not productive, giving rise to feelings of doubt and anxiety. The employee's mental image of the retirement period is a time when there is no busyness or even no activity, even though physically and mentally the employee feels that he still has the ability to carry out productive activities. The DKI Jakarta Raya Provincial Employee Cooperative (KPPD) is a functional cooperative whose members are employees who work within the DKI Jaya Provincial Government. As a functional cooperative, KPPD has different membership characteristics when compared to other cooperative members, in this case, KPPD members have a limited working age in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, so KPPD considers it necessary and important to equip members who will enter retirement. Efforts to equip members who will enter retirement are carried out by KPPD through entrepreneurship training. This activity aims to increase the readiness of members to enter retirement. The readiness of members to fill their retirement period is shown by how members plan and take concrete steps to fill their retirement period, through training activities. It is hoped that entrepreneurship training will be able to provide insight and inspire members to have concrete plans for completing their retirement period, in an effort to reduce members' worries and anxiety in filling their retirement period comfortably.

Abstract

This assistance was carried out as an effort to help the Koperasi Karyawan Jayawijaya PT KPI, Timika Regency, Papua. The cooperative is currently facing the problem of large amounts of account receivables, which since 2018 have not been able to be collected. The method used to resolve these problems was a participatory mentoring approach, starting with preparation and planning, implementation and evaluation. Until now, only two stages of activities have been carried out, for evaluation we are still waiting for the decision of the member meeting which will be held in March 2024. As a result of the assistance, it was agreed that the cooperative can write off problematic business receivables by writing them off completely at the end of the 2024 financial year or gradually over five (5) years, depending on the decision in the RAT. In the future, cooperatives need to anticipate by making provisions to form reserves (allowance).

Abstract

Financial management is very important in cooperative business activities, considering that financial reports are a form of accountability to the management stakeholders especially to members as owners. The financial report must at a minimum describe the condition of assets, liabilities, and capital stated in the balance sheet report and transaction activities with members and non-members as well as costs incurred which are stated in the business results calculation report (PHU). Cooperative financial reports must be well understood by cooperative administrators so that they can account in writing for all cooperative business activities carried out accurately. Considering the very importance of financial reports, it is necessary to provide training in preparing financial reports on an ongoing basis. The training was held by the Purwakarta Regency Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service.
