Abstract

Poverty is a social problem that is defined as a situation where a person is unable to maintain himself according to the standard of living of the group and is also unable to utilize his mental and physical energy within the group. This poverty does not just happen. Many factors cause poverty, including (a) individual factors, (b) social factors, and (c) cultural factors. The impact of poverty is clearly felt by many parties, including married women, their situation is very diverse, there are women who are divorced by their husbands, or even left by their husbands, or they have husbands but their husbands do not support them and their families, so they choose to struggle alone to support themselves and their families. This problem must be addressed immediately, how to prepare PRSE to be able to meet the needs of their families, through various empowerment efforts in order to prepare them to become independent women who carry out multiple roles. Based on this phenomenon, educational solutions are needed, including training programs in the form of project Based Learning (PBL) to build women's independence through entrepreneurial skills to improve family welfare in Legok Kidul Village, Paseh District, and Sumedang Regency. The training program was implemented through the stages of identification of needs, coordination of activities, development of program design, program action, and reporting and publication.

Abstract

The digital promotion training for students and young entrepreneurs aims to enhance understanding and skills in utilizing digital technology for product marketing. Based on the results of the training needs analysis (TNA), this training focuses on digital promotion techniques, including the use of social media, SEO, and other digital tools. The training is carried out in several stages, starting from needs identification, material development, to evaluation and follow- up. The methods used include lectures, group discussions, and case studies to improve participants' practical skills. Although there were some challenges regarding the misalignment with the established rundown, the overall implementation of the training went smoothly and was attended by 12 participants. The training evaluation was conducted through two main methods: pre-test and post-test, as well as a participant satisfaction questionnaire. The pre-test results showed an average initial score of 79.2, while the post-test increased to 83.3, with a 4.1% improvement. This reflects the effectiveness of the training material in enhancing participants' understanding. In addition to the tests, the satisfaction questionnaire was also used to assess their perception of the material, speakers, and facilities. The average scores from the questionnaire showed positive feedback, with high ratings for material quality (2.75) and speaker delivery (2.58). Overall, this training successfully improved participants' competence in digital promotion and provided a positive impact that can be directly implemented by the participants in their business.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) and multisensory learning to enhance cognitive understanding and student engagement in the digital age. Through a systematic analysis of 45 literature sources (2018–2024), a Neuro-Cognitive Load framework was developed that combines principles from cognitive psychology and neuroscience. Findings indicate that this integrated approach reduces external load by 32% through optimal visual-auditory presentation (<7 minutes), while activating brain regions associated with multisensory processing. At the practical level, the combination of worked examples and haptic simulations enhances STEM knowledge transfer by 41%. Cognitive impacts include improved retention (55%), reduced conceptual errors (38%), and enhanced knowledge transfer (29%). Student engagement analysis shows increased attention focus (73%), positive affect (M=4.2 vs 3.1), and active participation (2.3× higher). Implementation challenges include resource limitations (85% of teachers experienced technical difficulties) and student diversity, addressed through low-tech solutions (audio-enhanced diagrams) and teacher training (ES=0.89). The study’s conclusions emphasize the synergy of CLT-multisensory when it meets: (1) precise design aligned with cognitive capacity, (2) varied stimulation, and (3) contextual adaptation. The main implication is the need for educators to act as skilled cognitive designers who integrate neuroscience with pedagogical practices. Recommendations include developing a phased implementation protocol and further research on adaptive systems based on cognitive profiles.

Abstract

Completion of studies on time is the hope of every student, in addition to achieving very satisfying academic achievements. Despite these hopes, currently many doctoral program students at the Faculty of Education, Indonesian Education University are not graduating on time. For this reason, research needs to be carried out to find out the reasons and efforts to resolve it. The aim of the research is to find students' problems and hopes in completing their studies quickly. This research method uses Research and Development with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The research results show that firstly, empirically the completion of student studies is still relatively low, as evidenced by the number of students who have not graduated at 72%. Second, student affairs problems consist of relatively diverse academic and non-academic problems, including student expectations of lecturers and study program services. Third, based on students' problems and expectations, a learning facilitation service model is needed. The research conclusion is that it is necessary to develop a learning facilitation model design consisting of background, objectives, assumptions, principles, system components, procedures and indicators of success. This research produces a model design as a novelty that contributes to higher education leaders, academic supervisors, and administrative staff to provide services to students in completing studies quickly on time.
