Abstract

Samudera Pasai is one of the Islamic Sultanates in Indonesia which appeared in the Middle Ages or around 1267 AD. Evidence of the existence of the Sultanate of Samuedra Pasai in Indonesia is listed in the book Rihlah ilal-Masyriq (Wanderings to the East) written by Abu Abdullah Ibnu Batutha (1304 - 1368 AD), a Muslim adventurer who traveled to Samudera Pasai in 1345 AD. The spatial pattern of the Samudera Pasai Sultanate is no longer visible because there are no traces of archaeological remains in the form of any remaining buildings, except for the tombs of Sultanate figures and historical records of foreign adventurers who have explored the Samudera Pasai Sultanate. This record strengthens the evidence of the existence of the Samudera Pasai Sultanate. The methodology used in this case is a phenomenological approach and a historical approach, which are expected to approach optimal results in uncovering spatial patterns in the development of Islam. The spatial arrangement of the sultanate generally used the concept of catur gatra tungga, which was arranged in the form of: alun-alun (the square) as the center of space, markets to the north of the square, palaces to the south of the square, and mosques to the west of the square. The spatial arrangement then formed a spatial pattern that became the center of the Samudera Pasai Sultanate.

Abstract

Distributed systems increased the performance of a system by allowing applications to be processed in parallel. It helps us to share resources like printers, computers, storage facilities, data, files, web pages, networks, and thus it reduces the cost by shaing a single resource among several users instead of multiple resources. Since multiple machines communicate with each other through the network so they can be easily affected by the attacker and the full system should be corrupted. Users can access remote and local resources but they also may not aware of which machines their processes are running on. So, secure communiction of a distributed system is the most important issue. We need to analyze various vulnerabilities and can take proper protection of the system. In this paper, we discuss different architectural styles of distributed systems. Also, hold up different threads and protection mechanisms to get rid of these threads. The most focusing part of this paper is a summary of various distributed systems security. Here we hold up different distributed system security techniques like SSSE algorithm, BLCS architecture, ODIS algorithm, two eavesdropper model, dynamic cuckoo filter, etc. Finally, we summarize the full discussion like used methodology or architecture, advantages, disadvantages, accuracy, and future work in a table by which an author can easily gather knowledge about the summary of this paper. To better understanding, we show the result of various papers with a visual representation. I think it helps authors to know about security techniques and grow interested to work in this area.

Abstract

The unsignalized intersection which is located in Cileungsi District, precisely on Jalan Cileungsi Setu and Jalan Raya Narogong, is a commercial area with dense economic activity and densely populated settlements. As a result of the dense activity, congestion occurs due to the large number of vehicles passing the road, especially during peak hours, namely the morning and evening. Seeing this problem, an analysis is needed that aims to determine the volume, performance of roads, and unmarked intersections as measured by capacity, degree of saturation, and level of service.  In analyzing this study using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 method which will determine the performance of roads and intersections without signs. The data needed in this research are primary data in the form of geometric road data, traffic volume, vehicle speed data, and side friction. As well as secondary data in the form of location maps, land use, and population data. From the results of data analysis and processing, the busiest traffic flow at the intersection occurred on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 17.30 - 18.30 WIB, the saturation degree value was 1.17 with LOS F. By doing an alternative solution, the saturation degree value was 0.68 and LOS B with placing signs are prohibited from stopping around intersections, and prohibiting the flow of traffic turning right either from the main road D to the Minor C road or from the Minor C road to the main road B. On Jalan Raya Narogong, the degree of saturation is 0.74 LOS C service, this shows that the road sections do not exceed the figure required by MKJI 1997, namely ≤ 0.75.

Abstract

Wood management activities that are often encountered, as in wood cutting activities in the manufacture of wooden handicrafts, basically after this activity can become a problem, namely sawdust waste, where this waste if left for so long will be a big problem and have an impact on the environment. One solution that can be used for the problem of sawdust waste is to mix this sawdust waste into a concrete mixture. This sawdust waste can be used in concrete mixtures because of the cellulose content in sawdust waste which can affect the compressive strength value with different concrete treatment methods (curing) and slump of concrete. In this research included into experimental research with wood used is wood kamper samarinda, from the leftover cutting of wood frames from craftsman wood UD. kembang Arum in Bekasi, West Java.  Using sawdust waste with a size that passes through sieve No.4 (passes through a 4.75 mm) with variaes addition of 0 kg/m3 , 1 kg/m3  dan 1,5 kg/m3, as well as testing with a concrete mixture that has a mix design of 35 MPa f'c which is inserted into the test object in the form of a cylinder with a diameter and height of 15 and 30 cm which is then for the treatment method done by three different methods. The addition of saw dust waste with a varies of 1 kg/m3  dan 1,5 kg/m3   to the concrete mixture makes the slump and workability values decrease, but the slump value obtained is still in accordance with slump value plan. and for compressive strength values with an addition variation of 1 kg / m3 and 1.5 kg / m3 , The compressive strength value changes from the normal compressive strength value of concrete and the effect of the treatment method also affects the compressive strength value obtained.

Abstract

This study examines the composite quality of PP and HDPE plastic waste materials using Microfiber Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) as filler, the fiber used is 90 µm. The ratio of matrix: filler used is 60:40 and 70:30 for each type of PP and HDPE polymer. The method used is a melt blending screw extruder, where plastic and fiber materials are dissolved with a compatibilizer and then melt blended in an extruder by providing temperatures of 160 and 170 oC. Tensile tests showed the strength of the PP composite with a filler ratio of 60:40 and 70:30, respectively, of 313.25 N and 336.35 N, while the HDPE composite with a filler ratio of 60:40 and 70:30, respectively are 392.93 N and 187.90 N. The maximum force required to break HDPE composites reaches 21.10 Mpa while for PP composites it reaches 18.56 Mpa. From the morphology of the PP and HDPE composite samples, the overall surface structure of HDPE looks regular with a width from 1 to 13.5 mm. The PP composite shows a uniform and regularly arranged surface structure and the bond between the fibers and the filler looks more compatible but the surface pores are rougher. Heat resistance can be seen from the melting point of PP composites which can reach 163.81oC while HDPE composites only reach 134.21oC.
