Abstract

This research examines how the development and organization of street vendors (PKL) in Probolinggo City Square is facilitated by the Probolinggo Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 8 of 2011. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of this policy in maintaining public order and improving the welfare of traders. Street vendors balance their interests and the wider community's interests. The research methodology used is a qualitative case study, including observation, in-depth interviews with regional government organizations and several street vendors, and analysis of planning documentation. Research findings show that although order and the environment in the Alun-alun area have improved after the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2011, several records, such as trader participation and compliance, still need to be improved. There needs to be a strategic plan and policy roadmap to maximize the arrangement of street vendors for public order. This research produced several useful findings as recommendations for the local government so that the implementation of regional regulation No. 8 of 2011 is more optimal. Abstract

Violence against women is an act that can occur in everyday life and can be experienced by anyone, especially women. One of the difficulties in handling violence against women is that victims of violence tend to have coping mechanisms, being reluctant to open up. Self-disclosure can be the key to dealing with violence. Victims and their families tend to cover up what they experienced because they feel ashamed and consider this violence to be a taboo subject to talk about. This research raises the issue of how a culture of shame influences the handling of violence against women. The research was conducted in Yogyakarta, which is still full of cultural values and social norms. The research approach is a case study with interview and documentation data collection methods. From the research results, it was found that the politics of shame hinders the handling of violence against women. Abstract

This research aims to explain the phenomenon focusing on gender issues and gender equality in HMNS product advertisements. This issue has spread and become a growing trend in society. The problem of gender equality is always inherent in Indonesian society regarding the division of work areas. As a result, inequality between men and women often occurs. The root of the problem is that society cannot separate sex and gender. Sex and gender are considered the same thing, so various stereotypes and gender discrimination emerge. Men are always associated with being strong, independent, and involved in the public domain. On the other hand, women are always close to the domestic area and are always associated with a gentle nature. This research is qualitative, using an analytical method, namely qualitative content analysis, and to explain the form of gender equality, the researcher uses the theory of gender inequality from Fakih (2008), namely stereotypes, discrimination, subordination, and double burden. The object of this research is the HMNS advertisement for the "HMNS Perfection" edition. Data collection in this research is observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique in this research is that first, the researcher will group the data obtained via social media X via the official HMNS account. After that, the researcher conducted data reduction, presented the data by analyzing it, and then drew conclusions. The research results show that HMNS, as a local brand, educates about gender equality through its post entitled 'Perfection' by showing that men can make their choices without social labeling (stereotypes), the absence of gender discrimination, subordination, and double burdens in the HMNS Perfection campaign. Abstract

The paradigm of visual art mediums, whether in the context of three-dimensional or two-dimensional materials, generally tends to trace lines, planes, spaces, colors, textures, light (dark and light), and shapes. On the other hand, art also includes movement (dance) and sound (music). However, works of art are not always boxed in by type. Each can complement each other in a collaboration that leads to a creative, narrative and participatory art form. Meanwhile, digital technology has characteristics that are logical, coherent numerical representation, systematic modularity, automatic, analytical, variability and transconding (the relationship between computing and daily cultural life). Digital technology is closely related to the media, therefore the media continues to develop along with the advancement of digital technology. The development of digital technology produces new media (digital) as a development of old media (analog). The latest breakthrough in the world of visual art that combines elements of conventional art with digital technology. Thus, visual art develops in accordance with the development of media technology considering that art is often manifested through visual media.
