Abstract

This research explores the implementation of green marketing mix in the management of Green Mosque, especially in Nurul Jannah Mosque of PT Petrokimia Gresik. Using explorative qualitative method, this research focuses on 4P green marketing mix strategy (green Product, green Price, green Place, green Promotion). The results show that green products, such as green buildings and areas, not only save electricity and water but also create alternative income and community empowerment. The green price mainly comes from the sale of garden produce and fish ponds, with donations from the congregation as a contribution. Green premises include the mosque and the entire green area for transactions with congregants. In terms of promotion, active and passive methods are used to introduce programs and products to the community. The implementation of green marketing mix in the management of the Green Mosque improves management professionalism, designs products according to customer needs, and communicates effectively. This innovation can be duplicated to make a real contribution to global environmental conservation efforts.

In the context of Islamic da’wah, the family represents the most fundamental arena where Islamic values are instilled through exemplary behavior and compassionate communication. This study aims to analyze KH. Muhammad Shaleh Drehem’s concept of Da’wah Parenting as an Islamic parenting model that integrates the principles of mindful parenting and persuasive communication in nurturing a harmonious (sakinah) family. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with KH. Muhammad Shaleh Drehem and his family, as well as discourse analysis of his lecture videos broadcast on Al-Irsyad TV. Data analysis was conducted using a constructivist approach and the Gioia method to identify thematic patterns and uncover the meaning of da’wah practices within his parenting approach. The findings reveal that KH. Muhammad emphasizes both parental self-awareness (intrapersonal awareness) and relational awareness toward children (interpersonal awareness) as the foundation of effective parenting. The core values identified include empathetic listening, non-judgmental acceptance, reduced impulsive reactions, and gentle persuasive communication. He places love, compassion, and exemplary conduct at the heart of family da’wah, viewing every child as a divine trust and chosen gift from Allah that must be nurtured with spiritual responsibility.This study contributes to the development of an integrative family-based da’wah model that bridges modern psychological insights with Islamic values, offering a renewed paradigm for family education—one that is grounded in mindfulness, compassion, and exemplary leadership..

Abstract

This study explores the impact of live broadcast communication on the spiritual experience of congregants in listening to Friday prayer sermons in mosques and online platforms. With technological advancements, the method of delivering religious sermons has expanded, transcending the physical confines of mosques to digital arenas. The research aims to investigate how communication, particularly live broadcast, influences congregants' spiritual experiences. Using a mixed-method approach, data was collected from mosque attendees and online participants. The findings indicate that while physical presence in the mosque fosters a sense of community and direct engagement with the sermon, online platforms offer convenience and accessibility but may sacrifice a profound spiritual atmosphere. Disparities in audiovisual quality, social interactions, and distractions between the two settings affect the depth of spiritual engagement. Understanding these dynamics is crucial for religious leaders, mosque administrators, and policymakers to optimize the dissemination of religious messages to diverse audiences. This research contributes to discussions on the relationship between technology, communication, and spirituality in contemporary religious practices

Abstract

The Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) at the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) was established in 1989 and expanded from three to five branches in 1992 following the merger of several faculties. Despite this growth, IMM often faces organizational challenges, including issues related to communication, collaboration, and financial dependency. This study aims to explore the application of ISO 31000-based risk management at IMM UINSA. The primary goal is to understand the obstacles, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in risk management within this organization to enhance its sustainability and success in the future. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and participatory observation methods. Interviews were conducted with IMM members and leaders to identify the main risks faced, while participatory observation was used to evaluate the application of ISO 31000-based risk management principles. The findings of the study identify three main risks: low communication effectiveness leading to misunderstandings and conflicts among members, emotional challenges that hinder collaboration and team spirit, and financial dependency on Muhammadiyah, which could lead to financial instability. To address these risks, proactive and adaptive risk management strategies are recommended, including strengthening communication, team-building activities, and diversifying funding sources. With these insights and strategies, IMM can enhance the organization's sustainability and success in the future.

Abstract

Da'wah activities in the modern era are increasingly easy to find, especially since social media has become the main consumption of people from various sectors. However, amr makruf activities in the modern era have not been able to reduce evil evil completely. It has been proven that crime cases are often encountered in people's lives. One of the causes of the proliferation of nahi mungkar in people's lives is the absence of preachers who have special attention to the mad'u of the muqtashid group. In Sidoarjo, there are preachers who preach by paying attention to the condition of mad'u from its socio-theological aspect. However, the modern era is a challenge for Kiai Asrofudin in preaching because today's teenagers are influenced by the flow of technological media. A persuasive communication strategy is to influence by persuading. In thinking then the main thing is the feeling. The approach chosen by Kiai Asrof is a cultural approach using the irshad method. This method was chosen because the congregation cared for by Kiai Asrof was mostly mad'u muqtashiq.

Abstract

Changes The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of accountability and transparency in financial reports on the motivation to donate among mosque congregants in Surabaya. The population in this study consists of mosque congregants in the city of Surabaya, totaling 75 respondents spread across 28 mosques. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data. The data source obtained in this research is primary data obtained from questionnaire responses. The data collection techniques used in this study include an overview of the research object, descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing. The research findings indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of accountability on congregants' donation motivation, with a path coefficient value of 0.650, a t-statistic value of 5.446 (>1.96), and a p-value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. These findings suggest that the higher the level of mosque accountability, the more motivated congregants are to donate. Transparency does not affect congregants' donation motivation, with a path coefficient value of 0.110, a t-statistic value of 0.854 (<1.96), and a p-value of 0.393, which is greater than 0.05. The findings indicate that there are other factors influencing congregants' donations

Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of green financing as an instrument for empowering the economic activities of mosques in Indonesia. With the growing awareness of environmental sustainability and the need for economic empowerment, mosques play a strategic role as centers for social and economic activities. This study analyzes the opportunities and challenges of implementing green financing in the context of mosques, using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and document analysis. Green financing refers to the funding of projects that support environmental sustainability, such as renewable energy and waste management. In the context of mosques, this can mean investing in solar energy technology, efficient water management, and recycling programs, which not only reduce environmental impact but can also generate additional income and reduce the operational costs of the mosque. The results of the study indicate that green financing can strengthen the economy of mosques through various environmentally friendly initiatives. For example, installing solar panels can reduce electricity costs, while effective waste management can generate income from the sale of recycled materials. However, the study also identifies several major challenges in implementing green financing in mosques. These challenges include a lack of understanding and awareness of the benefits of green financing among mosque administrators and the community, limited human and financial resources to manage green projects, and regulations that do not fully support green financing initiatives in this sector.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of green financing  principles in mosque financial management from the perspectives of mosque administrators and congregants. In a global context increasingly emphasizing the importance of environmental sustainability, mosques as centers of social and spiritual activities have significant potential to contribute to environmental preservation efforts through the adoption of green financing . This qualitative research employs in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with mosque administrators and congregants in several mosques in Indonesia. The findings indicate that understanding of green financing  among administrators and congregants varies, but there is a growing awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly financial practices. Mosque administrators identify several key challenges in implementing green financing , including limited resources, lack of technical support, and resistance to change. On the other hand, congregants express enthusiasm for supporting environmental initiatives but require further education on the concepts and benefits of green financing . The study concludes that the successful implementation of green financing  principles in mosque financial management requires a holistic approach that includes capacity building for administrators, active participation of congregants, and collaboration with Islamic financial institutions and the government. These findings are expected to inform the development of policies and programs that support sustainable mosque financial management.

Abstract

This research discusses how Gus Muhammad Iqdam uses persuasive communication strategies to build Islamic culture at Majelis Taklim Sabilu_Taubah Blitar. The main purpose of this study is to understand the process of persuasive communication strategies used by Gus Muhammad Iqdam in shaping Islamic culture at Majlis Taklim. A qualitative approach was used to describe field data with a focus on Gus Muhammad Iqdam's persuasive communication strategy in shaping Islamic culture at Majlis Taklim. Data collection methods involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was strengthened through credibility techniques, such as careful observation and triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of persuasive communication strategies by Gus Muhammad Iqdam in building Islamic culture in the Taklim Assembly was effective. In conclusion, the persuasive communication approach applied by Gus Muhammad Iqdam succeeded in strengthening Islamic culture in Majelis Taklim. This strategy is effective in shaping and strengthening religious and cultural values in the taklim assembly, confirming the important role of persuasive communication in building religious and cultural values in the environment concerned.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia face a digital era that brings significant changes. Digital transformation offers various opportunities such as increased access to learning resources and the expansion of da'wah networks. However, challenges such as the digital divide and curriculum adaptation are also major concerns. This article aims to explain how the concept of digital transformation for Islamic boarding schools faces the current digital era. Digital transformation opportunities for Islamic boarding schools can bring technological advances to Islamic boarding schools. However, the challenge for pesantren must also be ready regarding technological infrastructure and how to manage the negative impact of the digital era on pesantren culture. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is needed to optimize opportunities and overcome challenges in this digital era. This article will describe how opportunities can be taken for pesantren management so that it can expand the social network of pesantren and discuss effective strategies. Furthermore, in further discussion, some data will be presented that shows the success of case studies of pesantren that can integrate pesantren technology in the digital era. The conclusion from this article that can be drawn is that pesantren need to face digital transformation and adapt in the digital era. Among them is being able to integrate the use of technology for the learning process, improving the ability of educators and the socio-cultural adaptation process in Islamic boarding schools.
