Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership, teacher professionalism, work motivation on the creativity of SD Negeri Se District teachers, South Sibolga. The sample of this study was all PNS teachers who had SDN certification in Sibolga Selatan District, totaling 91 people. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Then tested the validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that: (a) The relationship between the principal's leadership variable (X1) and teacher creativity (Y) is in the form of a regression equation Y = 55.438 + 0.315 X1. The R square value is 0.191, meaning that there is an influence of the principal's leadership on teacher creativity of 19.1% (b) The relationship between teacher professional variable (X2) and teacher creativity (Y) is in the form of a regression equation Y = 48.211 + 0.431 X2. R square value of 0.289. there is a teacher professional influence (X2) on teacher creativity of 28.9%, (c) Work Motivation (X3) on teacher creativity (Y) in the form of a regression equation Y = 45.549 + 0.431 X3. R square value of 0.502. This means that there is an influence of Work Motivation (X3) on teacher creativity of 50.2%, (d) Because Fcount Ftable or 46.411 2.710 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. R square value of 0.982. This means that the Principal Leadership (X1), Teacher Professional (X2) and Work Motivation (X3) variables affect Teacher Creativity (Y) together by 19.1% + 28.9% + 50.2% = 98.2%, and the remaining 0.8% is determined by other reasons not examined.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see and analyze the ability of students to undergo the dynamics of writing scientific papers (thesis) as a final assignment to fulfill undergraduate graduation requirements at Muhammadiyah University, North Sumatra. The process of searching for data by carrying out integrated identification looks at the results of thesis produced by students from several study programs representing each faculty by looking at the specifications of the thesis that has been produced to see how fulfilled what is written in it by looking at existing research methodology indicators, such as writing procedures, templates, writing methods , clarity of research methods, data analysis to research conclusions. This is done by using survey analysis which will produce percentage data to see the increase in research methodology mastery that students have had for the past 2 years. The results of this study indicate that students are still confused about the use of research methods included in their thesis. The research data interval is Mastery 36.89%, Moderate 54.32%, Not yet Mastered 8.79%.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how planning, implementation and control are carried out in improving the quality of Formal PAUD educators in Subulussalam City. This research uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive qualitative type. The research location is Subulussalam City, with the main research subjects being the Head of the Service, Head of PAUD and DIKMAS Fields, Head of IGTKI Subulussalam City, Teachers and Parents of students. Meanwhile, data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation techniques, then data analysis techniques were carried out in stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results include; 1) Planning to improve the quality of Formal PAUD educators in Subulussalam City is oriented towards improving the achievement of educator standards ideally, with a program to encourage the improvement of teacher education qualifications to the S-1 level through bachelor/linear. Planning on increasing teacher competency capacity, through tiered education and training programs, technical guidance activities, career advancement training and similar development. From the results of the plan to improve the quality of educators carried out by the Education and Culture Office of the City of Subulussalam in accordance with the qualification and competency standards suggested by the government by encouraging subsidized education funds and self-help. 2) Implementation of improving the quality of educators organized by the Office of Education and Culture of the City of Subulussalam which is adjusted to regulations and planning agendas that have been prepared such as tiered training, technical guidance activities, career advancement training and other developments in accordance with regional capabilities and received in allocating the activity budget improving the quality of educators in Subulussalam City. 3) Controlling the improvement of the quality of Formal PAUD educators in Subulussalam City by implementing standard referral stages while still cooperating with official institutional instruments such as the Aceh BPMP and applicable law rules.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the independent learning curriculum at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School and the level of effectiveness of implementing the independent learning curriculum management in increasing the competency skills of graduates in the industrial world. The research approach is a qualitative and quantitative embedded type, namely a qualitative approach as the primary method and quantitative as a secondary method. The research respondents were school principals, teachers and students at SMK Budi Utomo Binjai. The data collection tools are interviews, documentation and observation and questionnaires. The results of the research on independent learning curriculum planning and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School were carried out at the beginning of the new school year, when class XI (semester 3 or 4) carried out internships. Then the planning for class X has been prepared. The school had a little difficulty with adding the practice time to 6 months, and having difficulty arranging the practice places proposed by students, if the places were too far away. Some of the activities in planning industrial work practices are needs analysis, industry mapping, outreach, selection of practice places and tutors, and debriefing. In addition, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School is carried out according to the schedule and the results of the agreement from the industry, which is approximately 6 months or 1 semester. However, schools have difficulty handing over, monitoring, and withdrawing students whose internship places are outside North Sumatera, this is due to factors of cost, distance, and time. Likewise, the evaluation of the independent learning curriculum and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School was carried out by collecting data and analyzing it. Each department will report the results of their students' internships. The evaluation went according to the agenda, but in the evaluation activities the industry was not involved, this was because the school felt that the responsibility of the industry had been completed after the students withdrew from their practice place. In general, the implementation of independent learning curriculum management at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School in supporting the competence of graduates in the industrial world is very effective or 87% of respondents said it was very good.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of school management in implementing curriculum diversification (a case study at MSP N 2 Sibolga). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Jalan JL. Oswald Siahaan No. 35, Sibolga ILIR, Kec. North Sibolga, City of Sibolga Prov. North Sumatra. With observation data collection techniques, interview documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The result of the research is that the curriculum is ideally implemented life-oriented, at the level of basic abilities for development purposes such as reading, writing, and critical thinking. Furthermore, a curriculum that is oriented to the lives and experiences of its students can be used as an alternative curriculum that adapts to regional conditions and the environment around the school. All teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Sibolga are given the freedom in compiling the syllabus even though there are syllabus provisions from the education office. The preparation of this syllabus is not centered on the education service but a modified syllabus, meaning that the syllabus is adapted to the character of the students. In the implementation of the school management program, the strategies applied to achieve the implementation of learning include: program socialization, problem solving, quality improvement, and monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of school programs. The teaching and learning process (PBM) or interactions that occur between teachers and students at SMP Negeri 2 Sibolga are very accurate, this is because the teaching process is harmonious. Evaluation of the curriculum in implementing learning that needs to be assessed starts from the aspects of the objectives to be achieved, both curriculum objectives, learning objectives and student learning objectives. Each value evaluation is based on what abilities to be developed, while each ability contains elements of knowledge, skills and attitudes and values. Determination of the assessed aspects refers to the success criteria that have been determined in the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the management of school operational assistance funds at SD Negeri 024772 Binjai. Sources of data came from school principals, supervisors, teachers and school committees at SD Negeri 024772 Binjai through interviews, documentation studies and observations. This study found that the School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund program was implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of National Education Regulation Number 51 of 2011 concerning technical guidelines for the use of BOS funds and BOS financial reports. There is the participation of interested parties (school principals, parents of students, community leaders, education observers, the business world, and other members of the community) to contribute incentives in the management of BOS funds. Planning for the use of BOS funds at SD Negeri 024772 Binjai was carried out by compiling a RKTS. RKTS is a plan to obtain education funding from various sources of income as well as an annual work program composition consisting of a number of routine activities and several other activities accompanied by details of the financing plan in one fiscal year. Management of school operational funds at SD Negeri 024772 Binjai has been very effective in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Based on the results of the numerical diagnostic assessment analysis of students in class IV-A, the average score is still low, students still have difficulty answering questions about equivalent fraction material. This is due to a lack of concentration in class, students are passive in learning, and teachers do not use interesting learning media to convey mathematics learning material, especially equivalent fraction material. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in equivalent fraction material in class IV A SDN Mojorejo 01 Batu City which consists of 27 students. This study used the classroom action research method which was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle lasting 2 learning meetings. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, documentation, and interviews, then a quantitative descriptive analysis was carried out based on the data obtained. The research results obtained: 1) The class average at the pre-cycle stage was 56.04 with a classical completeness percentage of 22.22%; 2) The class average in first cycle increased to 69.03 with a classical completeness percentage of 48.14%; and 3) The class average in the secong cycle increased to 88.14 with a classical completeness percentage of 96.29%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the media puzzle concept of equivalent fractions (puzzle selai) can improve mathematics learning outcomes in the material of equivalent fractions in class IV A SDN Mojorejo 01 Batu City because it has achieved classical mastery ≥ 75% and class average value ≥ 75.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes and communication skills of fifth grade students on fraction material in learning mathematics through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the help of PAPSI at Elementary school. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using two cycles. The research sample was fifth grade students at Elementary school. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning achievement tests and observation of communication skills. The results showed that the PBL model with the help of PAPSI could improve the learning outcomes and communication skills of fifth grade students in mathematics learning. In cycle I, the average student learning outcomes reached 88 with communication skills of 78 %. Whereas in cycle II, the average student learning outcomes increased to 96 with communication skills reaching 98 %. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model with the help of PAPSI is effective in improving the learning outcomes and communication skills of fifth grade students on fraction material in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to, (1) To know the Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Planning Process at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (2) To know the Process of Implementing Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (3) To determine the evaluation of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (4) To find out whether there is an improvement in student learning outcomes after teachers apply Information and Communication Technology-Based learning management at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. The approach is used mixed method. The design used in this study is The exploratory sequential design. The design of the sequential exploratory is in the first stage the researcher collects and analyzes data in the form of qualitative, then in the second stage collects quantitative data based on the results of the first stage. Some of the subjects that were studied. Some of the subjects used as data sources in this study are: principals, teachers, and students in four (SMP Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar, SMP Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar, SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar, and SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar) Pematang Siantar, North Sumatea Province.  The results showed that there was an Activity of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Management in the planning process, implementation process, learning evaluation and there was an increase in student learning outcomes after teachers implemented Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Management at SMP Negeri Kota Pematang Siantar. From data analysis, it is known that the effectiveness of information and communication technology-based learning management at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School has been effective.

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive research type. The data and information needed in this study were obtained from information from informants, namely people who were considered to know and could be trusted in providing accurate information using two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research were direct observation at the research location, in-depth interviews and documentation at the research location. The results of the research show that the implementation of the four management functions of the community learning activity center when viewed from the planning function at PKBM Permata has been going well. It can be seen that PKBM planning is going according to the planning that has been done. the organization at PKBM Permata has been going well. It can be argued that the center of community learning activities should hold deliberations before holding learning activities in the fields involved in learning activities in order to achieve goals according to the vision and mission. the implementation of PKBM Permata has been going well. It can be argued that the process of carrying out learning can be done anywhere because it does not have to be in the room and the implementation of learning activities is scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays. supervision at PKBM Permata is categorized as good because those who carry out each supervision need a report which is reported at any time to the Mandailing Natal District Education Office
