Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe strategic planning at Guang Ming Medan Elementary School in achieving quality education, to find out how Guang Ming Medan Elementary School implements its strategy in achieving quality education, to find out how Guang Ming Medan Elementary School conducts strategic evaluations to achieve quality education. This research was conducted at Guang Ming Elementary School Weaving Factory Street No. 72 Medan. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Respondents in this study were school principals, vice principals, teachers, and school committees. The findings of this study are as follows (1) strategic planning in improving the quality of graduates at SD Guang Ming Medan, is very good, has fulfilled the stages, namely: a. Analysis Stage. Analysis of the internal and external environment, examines the factors that affect the quality of graduates, captures information on current and future school conditions and evaluates the results of program implementation in the previous period as material for analysis in preparing a strategic plan. b. Strategy Formulation. The formulation is carried out by a team by adjusting the conditions of the school and taking into account the expectations of stakeholders; (2) Implementation of strategic planning in improving the quality of education at Guang Ming Elementary School is carried out, namely: a. Involve stakeholders by giving authority to teachers and staff, making program announcements at the beginning of the year, holding coordination meetings, and assigning tasks according to their fields. b. Maximizing existing resources, maximizing guidance and learning both in the academic and non-academic fields and using as much as possible the facilities and infrastructure owned by schools to support the achievement of superior quality graduates; (3) Evaluation and implications of strategic planning for the quality of education at SD Guang Ming, namely: a. Internal and external evaluations by evaluating all programs that have been implemented and those that have not been implemented, evaluating graduates every year, looking at teacher professionalism, evaluating achievements, and monitoring carried out by supervisors. b. Evaluation of the implications (impact), experiencing an increase in the quality of education with indicators: increasing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, increasing student achievement both academic and non-academic, increasing the number of students, improving teachers, and other academic achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of competence on teacher performance; (2) the influence of school climate on teacher performance; (3) the effect of work motivation on teacher performance; and (4) the effect of principal leadership, school climate, and work motivation together on teacher performance. The research subjects were junior high school teachers in Pining District with a total sample of 110 people. The research method is a correlational quantitative research method with three independent variables and one dependent variable. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect between: (1) the principal's leadership on teacher performance of 0.412; (2) school climate on teacher performance is 0.403; (3) work motivation on teacher performance is 0.428; and (4) the principal's leadership, school climate, and work motivation together on teacher performance are 0.635. Overall, the results of the study show that teacher performance improvement can be done through an increase in the variables of the principal's leadership, school climate, and work motivation by 40.3% and the rest is determined by other variables.

Abstract

To implement school-based management at SMP Islam Terpadu Ruhul Islam This research is aimed at Simeulue. To increase the effectiveness of the performance of school principals at SMP Islam Terpadu Ruhul Islam Simeulue. To find out and analyze the Implementation of School Based Management in increasing the effectiveness of the performance of school principals at SMP Islam Terpadu Ruhul Islam Simeulue. Research results How important and big is the role of the school principal in every decision making to determine policy steps for the interests, needs and development of schools in a better direction. Another view of the role and function of the school principal in teacher development. In fostering discipline carried out by the principal, it has not been implemented optimally because there is still a lack of firmness by the principal in fostering teacher discipline, but the exemplary attitude has been shown by the principal. The leadership of the Simeulue Islam Terpadu Middle School Principal in completing assignments and work is in accordance with the set time in improving teacher performance by carrying out routine supervision. The task of the school principal in supervising teacher performance has indeed been carried out, but it has not been fully maximized. This will have implications for improving teacher performance in the school because there will be ups and downs in teacher performance and this will affect the learning process for students. schools productively in accordance with the provisions that have been set in improving teacher performance for the realization of the work of teachers and principals of SMP Islam Terpadu Ruhul Islam Simeulu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work climate, teacher motivation and job satisfaction on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational approach. This study took place at SMA Negeri Tapanuli Selatan. The sample in this study found 183 teach The results of this study are jointly significant, that is, the results of the Fcount test are 148.415, Ftable is 2.710, which is greater than the table. Because Fcount Ftable or 148.415 2.710 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be explained that the R square value is 0.837. This means that the variables of work climate, teacher motivation and job satisfaction affect teacher performance together by 83.7%, and the remaining 16.3% is determined by other reasons not examined. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of work climate, teacher motivation and job satisfaction affect teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze: (1) the effectiveness of management of competency-based teacher education and training studied through the implementation of management functions which are planning, implementing, controlling and evaluating, and (2) the effectiveness as measured by Kirkpatrik’s Reaction and Learning Level. This study uses a combination methods of concurrent embedded with qualitative methods as the primary method. Concurrent embedded design is a research method that combines qualitative and quantitative research methods by mixing the two methods unequally. The research begins by collecting qualitative data and at the end of the research is supported by quantitative descriptive using average data and percentage levels. Quantitative descriptive data obtained by using a questionnaire. The research was conducted at the Center for Development and Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electrical (BBPPMPV BBL) Medan. Primary data comes from interviews with 11 management elements of BBPPMPV BBL Medan and widyaiswara (trainer) and questionnaires to 85 teachers who are training participants of 6 training titles in the Electricity Expertise Program. The results of the research findings showed that education and training management had been carried out effectively. This is proven based on interviews and observations that the planning, implementation, control and evaluation of education and training are carried out well and in accordance with the education and training management theory put forward by Notoatmodjo (2011), Risdiyati (2012) and P.Siagian (1985). The results of the questionnaire also show that the education and training program is running effectively where: (1) evaluation results based on reactions show that 60.74% of training participants stated that they were satisfied and very satisfied with the implementation of the training, and (2) evaluation results based on learning levels showed that there was an increase in knowledge an average of 32.14 points.

Abstract

ne important component in improving the quality of education is learning. Learning is a process of interaction between educators or teachers with students and learning resources in a learning environment. Optimizing the use of media in E-Learning based learning can be done by using existing media to be associated with the learning to be taught. Therefore, with E-Learning based learning, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes at the school to increase . The purpose of this study was to determine learning management, the quality of learning products and the quality of student learning using Web-based E-Learning at SMP Negeri 2 Sidikalang. This type of research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and draws conclusions. And the data validation technique extends participation, increases the persistence of observation, triangulation and consultation with supervisors. The results of the study concluded that SMP Negeri 2 Sidikalanag had implemented Web-based E-Learning Management

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Digital Business Laboratory as a pre-business incubator. The research was conducted in a series of stages, including needs identification, mentor mobilization, module development, in-lab training, orientation, and assessment. The initial stage of the research was identification, in which students were given the opportunity to identify their wants and expectations regarding research and entrepreneurship programs. The next stage is mentor mobilization, in which experienced mentors from industry and academia are involved. Next, a module was developed, which included learning materials related to the managerial, financial, and marketing aspects of the business. Training in the laboratory was conducted using the prepared e-modules, supported by statistical software, social media, and adequate hardware. The results of this study indicate that the Digital Business Laboratory contributes significantly to enhancing the entrepreneurial creativity of student of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan. Students gave a positive assessment of the insights and knowledge provided by the laboratory, as well as its influence on understanding the managerial, financial, and marketing aspects of business. The use of media, such as Google Trends and social media analysis, is also considered beneficial in gaining relevant market insights. In addition, training in the laboratory and the assessments conducted provided a clear picture of students' entrepreneurial abilities. Students also felt that the Digital Business Laboratory met their expectations as a pre-business incubator and helped them develop skills and knowledge that could be applied in the business world.

Abstract

This research aims to establish the communication concept in the organizational team to optimize the performance of Public Elementary Schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, focusing on analyzing the concept of communication in organizational teams to optimize the performance of Public Elementary Schools. This research was conducted at a Public Elementary School in Wanasari District, Brebes Regency, for four months, from February 2023 to May 2023. The results of this research indicate that communication within the organizational team at Public Elementary Schools is carried out through two communication concepts, namely formal communication and informal communication. Formal communication is structural and procedural communication formulated by Public Elementary Schools. Meanwhile, informal communication is not planned and does not follow the formal structure of public elementary schools but arises from regular social interactions among members of public elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a person's change in the learning process so as to achieve self-change after the learning process. Mathematics learning outcomes can be achieved if students reach the aspects that are assessed and succeed by showing changes in themselves as a result of cognitive mathematics learning outcomes. Learning material is an outline of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that students must achieve in order to learn to certain competency standards. Flat shapes are two-dimensional geometric objects having various shapes such as squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. Project-based learning, or PBL, is learning that uses an activity model in the form of a project or activity, which is a medium of learning. The characteristics of successful mathematics learning in achieving competence are flexible learning tools, especially learning models that have effective, efficient, and useful principles as the key to success in learning mathematics. In flat-shaped materials, the appropriate learning model is project-based learning because the media in project-based learning are activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning achievement of IC class students at SDN Purwantoro 1, Malang City, in mathematics by utilizing the project-based learning model. The research participants were 28 students in my IC class. The data collected are the results of the pretest and evaluation results at each meeting. The results of the study state that the application of the project-based learning (PJBL) learning model can make it easier for students to understand the material seen during the learning process and the learning outcomes.
