Abstract

In a franchise business, the franchisor provides a developed way of doing business, providing guidance, systems and ongoing assistance in exchange for payment of fees and/or periodic purchases. This includes franchise-based restaurant and eatery businesses in the culinary industry. This research aims to determine the influence of brand identity and food quality on customer loyalty at Rocket Chicken restaurants in Majalengka Regency. The research method used is a survey method with a descriptive verification approach. The data source is primary data, which was collected using a questionnaire. The research population is customers of Rocket Chicken restaurants whose exact number is not known. The research sample was taken randomly using an accidental sampling technique and consisted of 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques were carried out using multiple linear regression tests, partial tests, model feasibility tests, and classical assumption tests including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and autocorrelation tests. The research results show that the model consisting of the independent variables brand identity and food quality is suitable for predicting customer loyalty. Partially, both brand identity and food quality have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty at Rocket Chicken restaurants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of beauty influencers, price perceptions and brand image on purchasing decisions for Vaseline hand and body lotion (consumer case study in DIY). This study is a quantitative study, with data processing using SPSS version 25. The population in this study were consumers of Vaseline hand and body lotion aged 20-29 years, women and men in DIY. This study has a sample size of 100 people from the calculation results using the Solvin formula. Sample collection with simple random sampling where samples are taken randomly from the population. The findings in this study indicate that beauty influencers have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, while price perceptions have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. While carried out simultaneously with beauty influencers, price perceptions and brand image have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions togethe.

Abstract

Extremism or radicalism is a call for terrorists and their supporters to use violence to achieve certain goals, often based on religious legitimacy. Dompu Regency is one of the places where many convicted terrorists are found. In this context, Bakesbanpol Dompu Regency plays a role in Deradicalization efforts. Deradicalization is a process or effort to eliminate radicalism. The purpose of this study is to describe the Kesbangpol policy in Dompu Regency in efforts to deradicalize ex-convicts in Dompu Regency and to analyze the factors causing obstacles in the implementation of deradicalization of ex-convicts. The methodology used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Efforts to determine and achieve research objectives are carried out using indicators of the role of local government in this case Kesbangpol as a facilitator and as a regulator. The results of the study indicate that the role of the government as a facilitator in the implementation of deradicalization of ex-convicts has been carried out as seen from the form of providing guidance, skills, training and funding given to ex-convicts. While the role of the government as a regulator, currently the local government does not have regional regulations that specifically regulate radicalism, terrorism or even deradicalization. Differences in thinking/ideology, limited budget and labeling from the community towards ex-convicts are obstacles in the implementation of deradicalization of ex-convicts in Dompu Regency. The Regional Government needs to provide religious guidance through religious leaders and additional allocations in the implementation of the program. In addition, the government and the community must be present in the midst of ex-convicts and synergize in preventing radicalism and terrorism.

Abstract

Terrorism is now a global threat that involves various aspects of life, transcends national borders, and has become a serious international crime. Indonesia, as a developing country, faces significant threats, especially through bomb terror acts in various regions. The terrorism movement is considered a major threat to humanity that needs to be addressed immediately. This study uses a qualitative method with informants including the village government, community leaders, security forces, and residents of Penatoi Village. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the strategic role of the village government in preventing terrorism is realized through the pentahelix approach, involving various elements such as Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, religious leaders, and youth leaders. Efforts such as socialization, education on the dangers of terrorism, and provision of basic necessities have succeeded in changing the pattern of community interaction from exclusive to more open, even 80% of residents exposed to radicalism have re-pledged their loyalty to the Republic of Indonesia. Inhibiting factors for the pentahelix approach include budget constraints, dissatisfaction with government assistance, and the existence of underground movements. However, the support of former terrorist convicts as partners and cooperation between the government and various parties, including BNPT and the police, are significant supporting factors in preventing terrorism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of four prediction models Altman, Springate, Zmijewski, and Grover in predicting financial distress in property and real estate companies. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a research population of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was done using purposive sampling from the period 2019-2023, and 29 companies were obtained. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive techniques, including the calculation of four prediction models, namely Altman, Springate, Zmijewski, and Grover, and the ranking of prediction models. The results of the study show that the Springate Model is the most accurate model with an accuracy level of 93% in predicting financial distress in property and real estate companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This model is proven to be more effective than the Altman, Grover, and Zmijewski models. Further research can be expanded with larger periods, samples, and macroeconomic factors.

Abstract

High employee performance is highly expected by the company. The more employees who have high performance, the company's overall productivity will increase. One of the factors that influences performance includes a supportive leadership style and compensation provided by the company. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of supportive leadership style and compensation on employee performance at PT BPR Majalengka Jabar Cigasong Branch. The method used in this study is a survey method with a descriptive and verification analysis approach. The population in this study were all employees of PT BPR Majalengka Jabar Cigasong Branch when the study was conducted as many as 39 employees. Using saturated sampling method, the entire population is used as a research sample. The data collection technique in this study was distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis used is the classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, model feasibility test and hypothesis testing using a partial test. The results of the study show that a supportive leadership style has no significant effect on employee performance. While compensation has a significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of banking fee transparency on financial risk management in Banyumas Regency. Focusing on five main variables—clarity of fee information, ease of information access, perceived fairness, customer satisfaction, and technological systems—the research involved 116 respondents utilizing digital banking services. A quantitative approach using survey methods was employed to identify causal relationships between independent and dependent variables. The analysis revealed that fee transparency significantly influences consumer trust and loyalty, which, in turn, affects the effectiveness of financial risk management. Ease of information access, customer satisfaction, and technological systems positively and significantly impact financial risk management. Conversely, perceived fairness of fees showed no significant influence. Simultaneously, the five variables collectively contributed significantly to supporting financial risk management. This study highlights the importance of information transparency and technological innovation in creating an inclusive, trustworthy, and sustainable banking system. The findings provide insights for financial institutions to design strategies that strengthen customer relationships and for regulators to develop policies promoting transparency and consumer protection. These efforts are expected to enhance public trust in the banking system and support overall financial stability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the Tourism Marketing Strategy and Human Resources Management in Improving the Creative Economy Based on Local Wisdom Strengthening the Attributes of Local Tourism Products in Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. The research method used is a quantitative research method with multiple regression. The results of the research show that in terms of tourist attraction attractions, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency according to visitor responses are in the attractive category, tourist attraction facilities are in the inadequate category, while the accessibility of beach tourist attractions is in the category of quite available. Human resource management (managers) will have a positive impact on the value of trust in visitors to tourist attractions (attractions, facilities and accessibility). If it is improved again, it will be better to present attractions that will provide increased customer value. From the aspect of local wisdom, it is necessary to strengthen the education of the surrounding community to understand the visit of foreign tourists to enjoy Susana Beach. Facilities have an impact on customer value, meaning that the better the provision of facilities, the more customer value will increase. And accessibility also has an impact on customer value, meaning that the better the provision of accessibility will provide increased customer value, so that it will increase the economic income of the community, especially the management of beach tourist attractions. With the value of excellence increasing visitors obtained from the value of benefits is relatively better, but seen from the category of both the value of benefits and the value of sacrifices are included in the good category of determining the superiority of the beach tourist attraction  of Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

This study proposes a model that explores the influence of brand equity elements, namely brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality on brand loyalty, with brand trust as an intervening variable, on the two most popular cup noodle brands in Solo Raya, namely Mie Sedaap Cup and Pop Mie. This research was conducted to find out the differences in the impact of brand equity elements on brand trust and brand loyalty in each brand. This study uses an explanatory research method with a purposive sampling approach. This study involved 223 respondents who met the criteria. The data was processed using SmartPLS version 3.0. The results showed that perceived quality has a significant influence on brand trust and brand loyalty in both brands. However, brand awareness only has a significant influence on brand trust and brand loyalty on Sedaap Cup Noodles. Meanwhile, brand association only has a significant effect on brand trust and brand loyalty on Pop Mie. Brand trust is able to mediate the relationship between perceived quality and brand loyalty on both brands, but brand trust is unable to mediate the effect of brand association on brand loyalty on Sedaap Cup Noodles and brand trust is unable to mediate the effect of brand awareness on brand loyalty on Pop Mie.

Abstract

Cooperatives have long been one of the main pillars of Indonesia's economy; however, interest among younger generations in this business model has declined in the digital era. The transformation of cooperatives through innovation and digitalization presents both challenges and opportunities in attracting the engagement of Generation Y and Z. This study aims to explore the factors influencing the perceptions and interest of these generations in cooperatives, focusing on digital innovation, social sustainability, and technological access. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this research involves semi-structured interviews with 15 participants from Generation Y and Z who have experience or interest in cooperatives. Thematic analysis is used to identify emerging patterns. The findings reveal that although Generation Y and Z show interest in cooperatives that embrace sustainability and digitalization, barriers such as limited understanding, negative experiences, and a lack of information about cooperatives persist. This study emphasizes the importance of innovation in cooperative products and services, as well as the need to enhance cooperative literacy and accessibility for younger generations. Therefore, cooperatives must adapt by leveraging digital technology and strengthening sustainability-based promotional strategies to remain relevant and appealing to Generation Y and Z.
