Abstract

This research is related to natural phenomena and it is necessary to find an appropriate approach or learning method, one of which is to use a scientific approach. This study aims to "Understanding Natural Symptoms Through A Scientific Approach In The Center Of Natural Materials In TK Putra IIi Bangko Kabupaten Merangin ". This study used a qualitative approach. This descriptive method took the subject of research in group B2 in the center of natural materials at TK Putra III Bangko Kabupaten Merangin Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. Data reduction analysis techniques, data display, verification and draw conclusions. Technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data by triangulation. With the results of learning to improve understanding of natural phenomena through a scientific approach in the natural materials center of TK Putra III Bangko Kabupaten Merangin, learning is carried out to improve understanding of natural phenomena through a scientific approach in the center of natural materials, TK Putra IIi Bangko Kabupaten Merangin, an assessment of group discussions with a scientific approach to natural phenomena so that it can be said that the understanding of natural phenomena using a scientific approach to children in group B2 TK Putra III is good and there is an increase in students' understanding in flood video discussions. The application of this scientific approach has a positive impact in increasing the understanding of natural phenomena from the videos watched, besides the knowledge of B2 grade students in natural phenomena that occur also increases.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of learning through teacher effectiveness in using graphic media in PAUD. The subjects of this study were the Early Childhood/Tk Institutions in Tomohon Tengah, which totaled 11 Early Childhood/Tk institutions, with 39 teachers, both civil servants and non-PNS. The results showed that based on observations made using a simple random system. So it can be found that out of the 11 PAUD/Tk. And from several research locations, it can be seen that in teaching and learning activities (KBM) there tends to be more use of self-designed teaching aids than using ready-made media or teaching aids or other learning media that are usually purchased at toy stores and so on. The conclusion from this study is that the teacher's ability to manage appropriate learning will produce good quality learning. The use of graphic media developed based on the themes being taught will make learning more interesting and efficient, so that the use of graphic media in learning can improve the quality of learning

Abstract

In this digital era, who doesn't know gadgets, multifunctional devices that are used in everyday life not only as a means of communication but also as entertainment. Not only adults, gadgets are also used by children at an early age for entertainment or education. It was found that there were children who behaved aggressively, some were friendly, and even forgot the time to rest, bathe or eat. The formulation of the problem in this study: how are the social and emotional behaviors of early childhood users of gadgets in the Winangun Satu Subdistrict, Neighborhood One, Malalayang District, Manado City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method because it is more suitable for gathering information. In the process of collecting data researchers used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman (1992:20) were used in this study starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The subjects in this study were 2 young children who were 3 and 5 years old who spent time with gadgets. The results of the study show that the social behavior of early childhood users of devices as follows: children tend to prefer to be alone and find it difficult to adapt to a new environment. Children have irritable emotions when their parents want to take the device and will also cry and rebel.

Abstract

In the game of basketball one of the components that is needed is concentration. Concentration is very important in both the posture for jumping and passing along the field, especially when shooting, concentration is something that must be considered because it can affect the entry of the ball into the basketball hoop. In this era of the year, basketball is very popular with people from among teenagers and parents. Basketball is also a sports achievement in the world of education. In the game of basketball there is a shooting technique which is how to throw the ball from under the ring or it can be called shooting undering. Each activity we require concentration in order to do well. Concentration is also needed in the world of sports, such as throwing, kicking or shooting so that it can be released properly. In this study, 20 samples were used, consisting of 7 women and 13 men who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The type of research used is non-experimental with a correlational approach. The instruments used were a grid concentration test questionnaire and a 30 second shooting undering test. This data was carried out on extracurricular basketball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 1 Tambelang. Based on the data that has been discussed, rcount is smaller than rtable (0.008<0.444) with a significance of 0.574>0.05 where Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means there is no relationship in the study of concentration levels and undershooting at SMP Negeri 1 Tambelang. Abstract

Down Syndrome is one of the genetic disorders that begins from the development of the fetus in pregnant women. This is due to the different number of chromosomes 21 than usual. This Down Syndrome results in a delay in the growth and development of the child both psychologically and psychically. The appearance of Down Syndrome is very characteristic of facial figures. However, many parents do not know for sure about this. This expert system of detection of Down Syndrome in toddlers has expert knowledge of pediatric specialists who can help parents to realize if the child has the characteristics of Down Syndrome. The mathematical calculation of the diagnosis of Down Syndrome uses Dempster Shafer which is closely related to uncertainty. This is because for the validation of Down Syndrome, you must do a chromosome test test in the hospital. The Down Syndrome detection expert system is website-based with Forward Chaining tracing. The system will calculate the percentage of diagnoses based on the answers to the symptoms selected by the parents and produce an output in the form of the highest percentage of confidence from the existing calculations.

Abstract

The use of learning media at all levels of education in North Maluku is still quite simple, so an effective alternative learning media is needed in presenting learning so that material that is still abstract can become more concrete, as well as provide a learning experience for students. Given the importance of using instructional media in teaching strategies, this study aims to obtain data on the feasibility and responses of students in using augmented reality learning media. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). This type of research is qualitative by designing or creating 3D models using the assembler studio, making AR books on the animalia concept, as well as collecting student learning outcomes data using pretest and posttest questions, media effectiveness testing, and material testing using questionnaires that are validated by expert validation, teachers, and students. The results show that the prototype for making AR learning media can be used on Android smartphones and PCs/laptops, and the operation is easy and can be used by various ages and educational backgrounds. Augmented reality learning media developed has a high effectiveness value, and students feel happy in using it, so it can be used in biology learning. The learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 5 Ternate City on the concept of animalia as measured by the N-Gain test are 4.2 or 1.0% and are categorized as high. The conclusion of the researcher is that the use of augmented reality learning media can be used as a learning medium to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Web programming is fairly complicated subject to understand. Therefore, a new solution is needed to undestand this learning. So a solution was found. Namely using animation as a learning medium and using Microsoft Power Point to make it.Research and Development (R&D) model from Borg and Gall is used for this study.Questionairre is used as an instrument and assessed by validator. With validator namely material expert, media expert and students. The result obtained were 87.50%, 83.93% dan 87.28%. The conclusion is the animation is categorized as “Good” or “Valid” and suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Visual media are props used by teachers in the teaching and learning process so that students can enjoy them through sight or the five senses of the eye. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted at Ternate Muhammadiyah High School. The subjects of this study were one student teacher of Pancasila and Citizenship Education and three class X students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. This research resulted in (1) the enthusiasm of students in learning subjects that still require attention, cannot be separated from the constraints of both class conditions and study time. Therefore the teacher must be able to control the class so that the class situation is under control again and students can study with concentration, the teacher must be able to read the class situation well. (2) Visual media can make it easier for teachers to provide natural learning material, visual media displays a concrete picture of a material, visual media can also focus student motivation in learning and students easily understand subject matter, and stimulate student activity in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education. (3) Visual media can provide a real picture of a material because it not only displays text, but also contains images, motion, animation that are interesting to students so that visual media can increase students' teaching and learning desires

Abstract

Jamu is a traditional Indonesian medicine. The process of making herbal medicine in general still uses simple methods that are vulnerable to contamination by various types of microorganisms that cause a decrease in the quality and safety of herbal medicine. The presence of medicinal herbs contaminated with microbes is related to the selection of raw materials, processing procedures and presentation related to the environment and workers. Testing for contamination of Coliform bacteria and Escherichia coli on liquid and powder instant herbal preparations produced in Telukjambe Timur Karawang District has been carried out by calculating the MPN number. The herbal samples were tested using 3 different preparations, namely liquid herbal samples, powder with vending water and powder with demineralized aqua. From the results of the study it was found that all negative samples contained Salmonella sp bacteria and samples of herbal rice kencur and red ginger powder prepared with sterile Aqua DM were declared negative for containing Escherichia coli bacteria. As for the kencur rice and red ginger samples, liquid and powder preparations with seller's water were positive for Escherichia coli bacteria

Abstract

This study aims at increasing students’ verb mastery through “puzzle” game to the second grade at SMA Negeri 4 Halmahera Utara. This research is a quantitative research. The researchers used quantitative research with quasi-experimental design. The populations of this study were 26 students in class XI IPS-1 and 24 students in class XI IPS-2, and the sample taken using random sampling. So the overall samples were 28 students consisted of 18 students in the experimental class and 10 students in the control class. The data collection technique includes pretest, treatment, and post test. The findings of the study showed that most of the students' mastery mastery increased after applying puzzle games in the teaching and learning process. The results of the experimental class analysis showed that the mean pre-test score was 62.5 and the post-test mean score was 72.7 while the control showed that the pre-test mean score was 63.00 and the post-test mean score was 66.00.This indicates that the experimental class experienced increased in verb mastery and hypothesis testing showed that the experimental students' scores were significantly higher than the control class. It can be seen that the t-test value of 0.163 is higher than 0.05 (0.163 <0.05). In addition, the application of puzzle games helps students' ability to memorize and understand new verbs easily.
