Abstract

The number of drug cases in Cermin Kiri Village Beach tends to increase, this occurs because community participation and awareness of drugs is still lacking. Drug abuse is one of the prohibitions in Islam. Inhaling drugs can damage the mind, and we are obliged to protect our minds because the mind is a source of responsibility for a servant of Allah SWT. In addition, geographical and environmental factors also support drug smuggling and transactions. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of government and society in drug cases that occur in Pantai Cermin Kiri Village and how to overcome them. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, which is by collecting information through observation in-depth interviews and other information related to this research. The researcher's review sees that the role of the government and the community is to form an IBM unit that handles drug cases in this village, with the holding of the Desa Bersinar (Clean from Drugs) program having a good impact on the village by approaching the IBM Unit which conducts socialization to convey the dangers of drugs and how to overcome them. The head of the IBM unit, who is a religious figure in the village, approaches the understanding of Islamic theology for drug addicts in social and religious behavior. Based on the existence of religious knowledge taught both by the family and by religious leaders, it is a spiritual approach to get closer to God in order to rebuild moral character, and is considered capable of treating various kinds of diseases of the body and soul.

Abstract

Sertifikasi halal merupakan proses evaluasi dan persetujuan produk yang memenuhi persyaratan Syariah Islam. Sertifikasi halal penting karena memberikan jaminan  produk halal kepada konsumen khususnya konsumen Muslim. Akan tetapi sebagian masyarakat Indonesia masih belum menyadari pentingnya sertifikasi halal. Sekitar 50% UMKM di ngawi yang bergerak dibidang pangan belum mempunyai sertifikasi halal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman terhadap pelaku usaha UMKM di wilayah Ngawi tentang pentingnya sertifikasi halal. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sosialisasi dan dukungan serta pembinaan kepada UMKM bidang pangan  di Kabupaten Ngawi dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan  jaminan mutu produk halal. Bentuknya adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan tutorial, serta dukungan pendaftaran sertifikasi Halal gratis (Sehati) dengan sistem skema self-declare. Maka dari itu, dalam rangka mengembangkan perekonomian daerah dan mempersiapkan diri memasuki Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (AEC), UMKM perlu memberikan jaminan terhadap kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, termasuk jaminan produk Halal. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini diharapkan Indonesia dapat mencapai target 10 juta sertifikasi halal pada tahun 2024 serta  menjadi pusat Industri pangan halal dunia.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang diakibatkan dari gizi buruk dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi utama di Indonesia, khususnya pada bayi. Metode yang digunakan  dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengamatan langsung oleh Mahasiswa KKN UINSU Di desa Kuala Beringin Kec. Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai peranan mahasiswa dalam upaya melakukan pencegahan stunting melalui pemberdayaan keluarga dan masyarakat di Desa Kuala Beringin. Dalam menyusun artikel ini, metode yang digunakan adalah Community-Based Research (CBR) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas dan ringkas dari hasil yang didapatkan. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini merupakan hasil observasi dan partisipasi langsung yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa KKN UINSU bersama masyarakat Desa Kuala Beringin, Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara, dari tanggal 18 Juli hingga 18 Agustus 2023. Melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat, mahasiswa KKN 68 UINSU melakukan skrining kesehatan masyarakat di Desa Kuala Beringin yaitu dengan melakukan pengecekan kesehatan kedua orang tua melalui pengecekan asam urat dan gula darah. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan yang kami lakukan bahwa kondisi kesehatan masyarakat kuala beringin terbilang stabil yang sesuai dengan angka stunting yang rendah di desa kuala beringin. Angka kontrol kesehatan juga berada di taraf aman karena adapun yang melebihi ambang normal tetapi tidak jauh dari angka normal tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pencegahan stunting dapat dilakukan dengan mengontrol kesehatan kedua orang tua. Dukungan orang tua terutama pada ibu sangat berperan dalam mempersiapkan asupan nutrisi dan gizi untuk anak. Kurangnya asupan nutrisi dapat menjadi faktor terjadinya stunting.

Abstract

Posyandu (integrated service post) is the government's effort to provide maternal and child health services to make things easier for the Indonesian people. Posyandu is also an organization that can mobilize local communities to carry out outreach and mutual cooperation to clean the environment around the community so that it can be healthy and clean. The aim of this research is to determine community participation in posyandu, the impact and benefits of posyandu, the obstacles felt by cadres and participants, and also funding to organize the posyandu program. This qualitative research is descriptive. This research collects data by interviewing sources. Interviews were conducted with questions and answers regarding the organization of the Posyandu program with sources who supported this research. Improvements are needed, such as providing more complete facilities, strategic locations, and timeliness of programs, to maintain and increase the effectiveness of community empowerment programs through posyandu. Community participation in empowerment programs, especially through posyandu, has a significant positive impact on monitoring children's health. Community enthusiasm and the active role of cadres in providing education about nutrition, immunization and disease prevention create an environment that supports children's welfare.

Abstract

In every organization, including Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) which is a public health institution based on community empowerment, information systems have a key role in providing accurate and timely information for reporting and decision making, in line with the Ministry of Health's regulations regarding health transformation as outlined in PMK No.24 of 2022. However, the effectiveness of the SIMBAT Posyandu Information System is hampered by the lack of ability of a number of posyandu cadres to use information and communication technology (ICT). To overcome this problem, this program was implemented which aims to improve the ability of Posyandu cadres in managing health information, especially in registration, recording and reporting, through socialization of the use of the Web-Based Posyandu Information System. Methods for implementing this socialization program include coordination with partners, needs analysis, training planning, preparation of training tools and materials, and implementation of training. The result of this activity is the ability of posyandu cadres to use information and communication technology, including the SIMBAT application based on pretest and posttest results, initially 40% after training became 80%.

Abstract

To achieve educational goals, optimal school performance is essential. Therefore, school performance management is very important. The aim of this research is to see how to implement performance management in educational institutions to improve their quality. The research method used is a qualitative and descriptive method, in the form of mini research at the PAB 18 Sampali school, Medan. And interviews and collecting some documentation in the form of photos and data about performance management at the PAB 18 Sampali school. Leadership style, school culture, stakeholder engagement, and teacher professional development all influence school performance management. Performance planning, monitoring and evaluation carried out regularly have been proven to improve the performance of educators and employees. Ultimately, this will improve the overall quality of the school.

Abstract

This scientific article aims to examine how the participation of the Sidourip Village community in the development of waste-based handicraft and agriculture businesses can increase awareness and role as innovative and creative entrepreneurs. This research was conducted in Sidourip Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency during the service period from July 18 to August 18, 2023. This research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach that involves a series of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) as a method to explore in-depth understanding of community participation dynamics, the role of the 2023 UINSU KKN Program, and the potential for economic transformation through waste-based business development. The sample of this study involves several heads of families from 4 hamlets with different economic backgrounds. The results of this study show that FGD can be an effective platform for stimulating community creativity and innovation in processing waste into valuable products. This research also illustrates that the 2023 UINSU KKN Program has an important role as an agent of change supporting local economic transformation. Thus, this research provides a significant contribution to sustainable local economic development through the utilization of cloth and agricultural waste in Sidourip Village.

Abstract

Situation Analysis: Almost more than 50% of students in elementary school dental are dental workers so it is felt that there is a need for prevention with the establishment of healthy dental schools. And for + 2 years have not received dental health services / UKGS due to the Corona pandemic situation. Objective: Improve the behavior of elementary school-age children in maintaining dental and oral health and increase teacher understanding in filling out healthy dental cards and dental health education as the beginning of the formation of healthy dental schools. Community Service Method: PKM Approach Method with Participatory Action Research. This activity will be carried out at SD Inpres Liliba from April to October 2023, with participants being teachers and students of grades III and IV. Activity Results: Activities were carried out on grade 3 and 4 students totaling 50 children. First, students filled out a dental health maintenance behavior questionnaire before counseling, the results were included in the moderate criteria as many as 38 people (76.0%), teacher training on good and correct brushing practices, filling out healthy dental cards, and dental health education. The evaluation was carried out after 3 months, where there was an increase in behavior including the good category as many as 48 people (96.00%), teacher understanding in filling out healthy dental cards, dental health education and brushing practices were good and healthy dental schools had begun with brushing activities together every 1 week 1 time. Conclusion: This healthy dental school activity can improve the behavior of elementary school-age children in maintaining dental health and teachers' understanding is good in filling out healthy dental cards and teaching brushing and dental health education to students.

Abstract

Drinking tea or coffee is also a human culture or habit that has existed for a long time. Counselling on making tea from bay leaves to PKK mothers in Sei Alim Ulu village has been carried out smoothly. The aim of this service is to increase the understanding of Sei Alam Village Women in Making Bay Leaf Tea. The extension activity for making bay leaf tea was held on August 09, 2023, at the Sei Alim Ulu Village Hall Office Hall. This research uses an action research procedure (Action Research). Action research is a process that continuously alternates between inquiry and action, between application and innovative thinking. The researchers tried this action research using bay leaves in tea preparations by combining ginger and cinnamon recipes. This counselling is carried out to provide or transfer knowledge to mothers in the village that bay leaves can not only be used as spices in cooking and make business opportunities that can increase the income of Village-Owned Enterprises in the future. A suggestion for the public is to try combining bay leaf tea with other herbs such as ginger, turmeric or cinnamon to get more benefits. Not only does this combination provide a more enjoyable flavor, but it can also enhance its properties.

Abstract

This community service (PkM) aims to identify the material culture of Cirebon and produce a material culture map that can be accessed through the website so that it can be a reference data in the development of the creative economy in Cirebon. Through the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method, community service members carry out community service steps through appreciative inquiry, community maps, transects, and asset mapping to collect material culture information and produce output in the form of an interactive map of Cirebon's material culture. The results show that Cirebon is one of the regions that has rich local culture which has the potential to be developed into digital media that can be reached by the wider community. This potential development is realized in a website that contains an interactive map of Cirebon culture with the name Telusur Cirebon. Telusur Cirebon is a service community product that contains interactive map content, information cards (material culture), and a list of references that examine material culture. The creation of Telusur Cirebon provides an opportunity for sustainability of the PkM program because practically it has a role in: 1) presenting cultural data with easy-to-reach internet access; 2) ways to preserve or archive Cirebon's cultural riches; and 3) make it easier for academics (researchers/lecturers) to analyze research references in the form of journals/books about Cirebon culture which are available online (e-journals/e-books). Sustainability of the community service program can also be carried out through a collaboration scheme between LP2M IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, the government, local culture-based communities/institutions, and the private sector by continuing to complete data about Cirebon culture.
