Abstract

The success of the tourism industry is supported by three elements, namely people, place and time. Humans as human actors in tourism activities, place as an area covered by tourism activities and time as a period of time used in tourist trips while staying in tourist destinations. It was found that many people do not have awareness of tourism potential and care about the environment, so that the level of community participation in the development of tourist destinations is still low. This service uses an empowerment perspective with the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method to increase community participation, so that tourist destinations in Hutaginjang Village can be developed and efficient for the community. This service seeks to empower the community by providing various information about increasing participation in tourist destinations through counseling, thus opening the paradigm of the community in managing and developing tourism objects and making persuasive efforts in the form of social action activities, social action activities such as socializing the 5 M Movement, distributing masks and distributing books. The results of this service can be seen from the beautiful village area and increased community participation in the development of tourist destinations.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this community service is to train class action research teachers. The target of this training is teachers at MTsN Tanjungbalai. It is hoped that from this training, teachers will be able to make a class action research to support teacher careers. This training was held for two days which took place in the MTsN Tanjungbalai class, where participants were involved and actively participated in this training. The results showed that there was a change in ability and knowledge to make class action research which was attended by 20 people. This training consists of the following stages: 1. preparation 2. material delivery, 3 mentoring and discussion 4. evaluation of the training activities.

Abstract

Orphans need support and attention more from stakeholders in order to improve their life skill. Some training and workshop should be conducted such as English and Computer. Bani Adam orphanage is one of the left behind orphanage in Medan which has insufficient facilities for the education of the orphans. They also rarely accepted any program that create the orphans capacities. This community service aim to increase the English skill of the orphans especially English for office to encourage the orphans gain better understanding in English for office.

Abstract

Laporan  keuangan  disusun  berdasarkan  Standar  Akuntansi Keuangan (SAK)  yang  telah  ditetapkan  oleh  Ikatan  Akuntan  Indonesia  (IAI). Kebebasan dalam  memilih metode ini, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang berbeda-beda di setiap perusahaan. Laporan keuangan merupakan alat yang sangat penting untuk memperoleh informasi sehubungan dengan posisi keuangan dan hasil yang telah dicapai oleh suatu perusahaan yang bersangkutan.” Dari beberapa pengertian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa laporan keuangan adalah suatu informasi yang menggambarkan suatu perusahaan. Tempat  pelatihan  dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar dengan  Waktu Pelatihan pada hari senin, selasa, dan rabu tanggal 12, 13 dan 14 Desember 2022. Pelatihan adalah siswa/i di SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsianar yang berjumlah 30 Siswa/i.Teknik Pelatihan terbagi atas dua bagian yaitu pelatihan teori dilanjutkan dengan mempraktekan dan Tanya jawab Pengolahan  kuisioner. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu Memperkenalkan kepada siswa/i software-software penyusunan Laporan Akuntansi terbaru, karena di era saat ini dalam penyusunan Laporan Keuangan   semakin   mudah   dan   akurat   dengan   adanya   dinamikan peningkatan teknologi informasi

Abstract

. Siam Banjar Orange as a leading horticultural commodity on tidal land owned by Barito Kuala Regency, has the potential to be developed for marketing. One way of marketing that can be done easily by farmers is through marketing using online media. Utilizing the capacity of farm women and the outpouring of more time is a potential that can be utilized to increase the promotion of citrus products through online media. The implementation of this service activity uses the Community Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) method. The results of the service show that the peasant women in Sawahan Village already have a fairly good capacity with the provision of using online communication and conversation media that they have been utilizing. After this service, peasant women as participants in the service can optimize online media as a means of promoting citrus production. The response of service participants to service activities is quite high, starting from a variability of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Abstract

Barito Kuala Regency is a tidal land area that has a superior horticultural commodity in the form of Siam Banjar oranges. But in the last year farmers have been flooded, resulting in a partially damaged citrus crop population, resulting in a decrease in income for farmers. In addition, in normal times the income of orange farmers is also uncertain, due to unstable fluctuations in orange prices. So it is necessary to carry out devotion that has an impact that can later increase the income of farmers. The method used in community service activities in Sawahan Village uses Participatory Action Research (PAR), with this method the role of community involvement is very large in identifying problems to solving problems and following up. The solution offered in this service, based on the problems identified is the extension of the intercropping plant system of chili with citrus plants. The results of existing conditions show that chili plants as intercropping plants with the suggested oranges can provide additional income for citrus farmers. The profit from chili plants which is an increase in the income of citrus farmers is IDR 1,558,028,-/wholesale/planting period. The response of the service participants gave a positive assessment of the technology presented, based on the results of the evaluation by judging from the responses of the participants based on the nature of innovation.

Abstract

AbstractThe participants in this activity were Middle School teachers throughout Medan City. This activity was attended by four hundred participants. The hope of this activity is that writing literacy can develop among teachers and can be passed on to students. The world of Literacy continues to grow, the public's interest in participating in encouraging literacy is also starting to sprout. Not only the growth of interest in reading but this enthusiasm is also seen in the world of writing. The ease with which reading material is obtained through online media inspires them to write as well. Writing platforms grow like mushrooms in the rainy season. This causes the writing culture to suddenly become very popular. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other platforms that have monetary value are places where they share their ideas and feelings. Some have even recorded works from these uploads. Novels, collections of short stories, travel, culinary, or other themes become material that can be recorded. They have done, the profession of a writer also carried. At this level it is necessary to continue to hone skills. So that the writing does not just appear, but there is a quality that accompanies it. Both in terms of grammar and from the content of writing. For this reason, efforts are needed to improve this ability. So, in this case we as the Pasuruan Book Writing Community intend to hold training to improve the ability of writers in terms of quality. Abstract

Islamic Boarding School of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin is one of the Islamic boarding schools located in the Mandailing Natal regency. Based on preliminary research in the field by interviewing the students, the Arabic speaking skill of the students at the Islamic Boarding School of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin was considered as low. In consequence, the team of community service consisting of Arabic language and literature lecturers was motivated to organize a relevant program on Arabic language enhancement through training in speech or khithabah. This training was hoped to give an improvement on students’ Arabic speaking skills. In addition, this program was expected to trigger the students to be self-confident to deliver a speech in front of the audience, particularly when expressing ideas, sharing new knowledge, and preaching religious messages to society. This program applied two methods namely the speech method delivered by the team of community service consisting of Arabic language and literature lecturers and the communicative method through question-answer sessions related to the program’s materials which were strengthened by displaying the speech text and allowing students to practice the speech by turns. The program of community service conducted by the team of Arabic Language and literature lecturers at the Islamic boarding school of Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin run very well. The result of the program is expected to give benefit students’ Arabic speaking skills pertinently improving their self-confidence for speech delivery in front of the audience.Keywords: training of speech, Speaking Skills, Islamic boarding school, Darul Amin Bustanul Arifin.

Abstract

AbstrakKKN  UIN SU Medan di Desa Bah Jambi 1 Kecamatan Jawa Maradja Kabupaten Simalungun merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan KKN untuk memberi pengalaman dan sebagai proses pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa guna menggali potensi-potensi desa yang dapat dikembangkan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan dilakukan sejak tanggal 18 Juli 2023 hingga tanggal 18 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 kegiatan yaitu: kegiatan inti, kegiatan desa, dan kegiatan tambahan. Artikel ini membahas kegiatan desa dan kegiatan tambahan. Metode pelaksanaan berupa survey. Kegiatan tambahan mahasiswa KKN mendapat dukungan dari pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat desa dengan melibatkan masyarakat dari berbagai golongan. Pemerintah desa beserta aparatnya melibatkan mahasiswa KKN dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan-kegiatan desa seperti, sosialisasi pergaulan bebas, pernikahan dini, bahaya gadjet dan penyuluhan kesehatan masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatan lainnya yang melibatkan kaum remaja muda dan anak-anak sekolah setingkat Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama seperti bergiat di Taman Pengajian untuk mendampingi dan mengajar mengaji, senam sehat dilakukan di lingkungan masyarakat dan sekolah, menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dengan kerja bakti, dan penataan kembali batas-batas dusun. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat desa khususnya yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan ketentraman, dan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Abstract  KKN UIN SU Medan in Bah Jambi 1 Village, Jawa Maradja District, Simalungun Regency is one form of community service activities. The purpose of KKN is to provide experience and as a learning process for students to explore the potential of the village that can be developed by the community. The implementation was carried out from July 18, 2023 to August 18, 2023. This activity consists of 3 activities, namely: core activities, village activities, and additional activities. This article discusses village activities and additional activities. The implementation method is a survey. Additional activities of KKN students received support from the local government and village community by involving people from various groups. The village government and its officials involve KKN students in the implementation of village activities such as socialization of promiscuity, early marriage, the dangers of gadjets and public health counseling. Other forms of activities involving young teenagers and school children at elementary and junior high school levels such as working in Taman Pengajian to accompany and teach the Koran, healthy gymnastics carried out in the community and school environment, maintaining environmental cleanliness with community service, and reorganizing hamlet boundaries. This activity is expected to provide benefits to the village community, especially those aimed at creating peace, and improving the economy of the village community.

Abstract

Abstract Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children due to chronic malnutrition that occurs in the first 1,000 days of life, starting from pregnancy until the child is 2 years old. In order to overcome the problem of stunting, outreach activities are one of the effective methods. This outreach will provide the public with an understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition and adequate nutritional intake for the growth and development of children. Objective from study This For increase awareness public about danger of stunting and method handle it so that it can be done lower risk of stunting in child . The implementation method used by researchers in this KKN activity consists of several activities, including implementing Stunting Socialization and Counseling as well as Providing Dashat Menus to the Community in nggurono Subdistrict which is the Center for Providing Health Education related to Stunting. The implementation of outreach activities was also supported by the Binjai City Genre Party, they sent Stunting Care Genre Ambassadors to contribute to this activity. And the presence of several Family Planning Field Officers (PLKB) also enhances stunting education activities. Socialization of Healthy Eating Patterns with the DASHAT Menu is carried out by KKN Students, by demonstrating healthy cooking for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, as well as introducing food ingredients that can be consumed and food ingredients that should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as demonstrating cooking for toddlers and toddlers.
