Abstract

In the field of teaching and learning, the use of digital media, especially PowerPoint, is still rarely implemented by teachers. Therefore, the development of PowerPoint media is needed to ensure that the learning process runs optimally and achieves the desired learning objectives. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using PowerPoint media on the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject. This research method employs quantitative research. The sampling technique used in this study is saturation sampling. The results of the PowerPoint media research are based on different tests using non-parametric statistical testing with the Wilcoxon formula to obtain student learning data, showing differences before and after the use of PowerPoint media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Effect of Outdoor Learning Methods on Creative Thinking Ability and Poetry Writing Ability in Class V Sdn 59 Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative study with the research method used is a quasi experimental method and the design used is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is 60 students of V State Elementary School 59 in Bengkulu City. The total number of students is in two classes. The research sample was taken using a total random sampling technique, in this study using two classes to obtain a VA class of 30 students as a control class, a VB class of 30 students as an experimental class, and a VA class in SD Negeri 20 Bengkulu City as an instrument trial class . The research instrument was in the form of a test sheet. Based on the hypothesis test using the ONE WAY ANOVA test with the help of SPSS 16.0, it was found that: 1) There is an influence of the outdoor learning method on the ability to write poetry for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 59 Bengkulu City. 2) There is an influence of the ability to think creatively on the ability to write poetry for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 59 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop CTL-based animated learning video media on the Cycles of Living Creatures for class IV students. The research subjects were 15 students and 1 class IV teacher at SDN 23 Central Bengkulu. Meanwhile, the object is a CTL-based animated learning video. This research uses the development of the Borg and Gall model which was carried out to produce a learning product. These stages include the potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, limited experimentation, product revision, field trials, product revision, and mass product. However, development was carried out only up to stage seven (development). The instruments used were expert validation sheets and interview guidelines as well as practicality test questionnaires. The results of the research show that the CTL-based animated learning video media developed is very feasible and practical for use by class IV students and teachers in science learning, especially material on the Cycles of Living Creatures.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to develop PjBL-based solar system science material modules and to determine the effectiveness of PjBL-based solar system science material modules in increasing students' factual and contextual knowledge. The research method used in this study is the ADDIE model consisting of five development stages which include the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The results showed that the PjBL-based solar system material science module was developed through an early stage analysis consisting of analysis of teacher needs and analysis of student needs and curriculum analysis. Then based on the results of the analysis phase, the module design is carried out. After that the module design is realized and validated by experts. Modules that have been validated by experts and declared feasible are then implemented to determine teacher and student responses to PjBL-based IPA modules. Lastly, an evaluation was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the Tata Suurya System Science material module in increasing students' factual and contextual knowledge. Based on the evaluation of the PjBL-based solar system material science module, it was found that the solar system site material science module is effective for increasing factual and conceptual knowledge based on the N gain score on increasing factual knowledge obtained by 0.75 with high classification and on increasing conceptual knowledge the score is Ngain obtained by 0.72 with high classification.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using STEM-based worksheets on learning outcomes of knowledge, attitudes and skills of sixth grade elementary school students on puberty. This research is a quantitative research. The method used is a quasy experiment. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class VI SDN 33 with a total of 30 students as the experimental class and class VI of SDN 29 as many as 27 students as the control class. The instrument given was in the form of a written test consisting of knowledge, attitude and skills variables. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the use of STEM-based worksheets on the learning outcomes of knowledge, attitudes and skills of sixth grade elementary school students on puberty.

Abstract

The aims of this study are develop Project Based Learning (PJBL) based LKPD on pictograms and bar diagrams for class IV elementary schools. The design of this study was development research using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The data collected is quantitative and qualitative data. Data collection uses observation methods, structured interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this study was qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that (a) the results of the material content expert's review were very good with a percentage of 85% (b) the results of the linguist's review were very good with a percentage of 86% (c) the results of the design expert's review were very good with a percentage of 84%. (d) the results of teacher and student responses were very good with a percentage of 92% teacher responses and 91% student responses. The average N-Gain value for the experimental class is 66%, which means it is effective in improving student learning outcomes. So the conclusion of this research is that PJBL-based LKPD in the context of the school environment is suitable for use, has a very good response and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purposes of this study is to determine the effect of using Discovery learning model magic straws assisted on the students to creative thinking ability. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this study was the experimental method and descriptive method. The design of this study was Quasi Experimental with the Matching Only Pretest Posttest Control Group Design type. The subjects in this study were divided into two groups, that class VC students as the experimental group and class VA students as the control group. There are two instruments used to collect the data of this study were the observation guide and essay test of creative thinking ability which is given through posttest after the learning takes place. The test was carried out twice, before and after providing treatment, namely a Discovery learning Magic straws assisted in the experimental group. The data analysis technique used in this study were analyzed using field data, descriptive, inferential statistics (t-test), and N-gain test. The data analysis results show that average score of the posttest of two classes, the experimental class is 76.67 and the control class is 67.67. The t-test show that sig. (2-tailed) score is 0,003 < 0,025. The N-gain test shows a score of 66% which is in the good category. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence at the 5% level on the use of the Discovery learning Magic straws assisted on the students to creative thinking ablility.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop an E-Comic Based on the Folklore of Berian Tinggi Village to Improve Reading Comprehension. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model. Instruments include interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, questions, expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the E-Comic developed is suitable for use as class IV Indonesian language content media. The expert validation results were 0.94 from material expert validation, 0.96 from design expert validation, and 0.95 from language expert validation. The user response was very good because the results of the analysis of the class IV teacher questionnaire showed a percentage of 93.75% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, the response from students obtained a percentage of 93% with very good criteria. The e-comic that was developed was effective in improving the reading comprehension of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 44 Kaur. The average value obtained by the experimental class using E-Comic N-Gain was 0.54.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of guided discovery-based e-modules on the mastery of factual, contextual and procedural knowledge of "digestive organs" in fifth grade elementary school students. This research is quantitative research. The subjects of this research were 23 students of SDN 04 Bengkulu Selatan class VB and 23 VC students. This research uses pretest and posttest questions on factual, context and procedural knowledge. The research results showed that the N-Gain value for factual knowledge was 65.5 in the medium category, the N-Gain value for conceptual knowledge was 59.5 in the medium category, the N-Gain value for procedural knowledge was 52 in the medium category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of learning using science guided discovery-based e-modules on the mastery of factual, conceptual and procedural knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the teacher as a motivator in developing student interest in extracurricular dance at SD Negeri 75 Bengkulu City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. With the research subject being the dance extracurricular supervisor teacher and students who take part in dance extracurricular activities totaling 12 students. The research instruments used are observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation guidelines. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the teacher carries out his role as a motivator in providing direction, encouraging and giving praise/reward. Teachers provide direction to students by directing students to come to practice, directing student movements, and directing students to have knowledge about dance. The teacher also encourages students by giving words of encouragement and showing enthusiasm for dance. Teachers also give praise/rewards to students who diligently practice or memorize dance movements. The conclusion in this study is that the teacher shows his role as a motivator who can develop students' interest in extracurricular dance. Thus students who have an interest in dance cannot be separated from the role of the teacher.
