Abstract

This research aims to create: Inquiry-Based Digital Media Concept Mapping in Science Lessons on Time Differences and Their Influence. This research is development research (Reseach and Development) with the Four D (4D) model. The research object is inquiry-based digital concept mapping media. The research stages consist of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating. This research was only carried out until the development stage, namely validity testing and practicality testing. The instruments used were a validity test questionnaire and a practicality test questionnaire. The validity test was carried out by 6 validators, namely 2 material experts, 2 language experts and 2 graphics experts. The practicality test was carried out on 31 class VI students at SDN 25 Lubuklinggau. Data analysis uses percentage techniques and is processed descriptively. The results of the feasibility test for Inquiry-Based Digital Concept Mapping Media by the validator were reviewed in terms of aspects of the home page, table of contents, study instructions, appropriateness of the material, language presentation, and graphical appropriateness, the appropriateness of the material was obtained 0.81 (very feasible criteria), the results of the appropriateness of the language were 0.75 (feasible criteria) and graphic feasibility results 0.80 (very feasible criteria). The results of the Inquiry-Based Digital Media Concept Mapping field test obtained a score of 75.03 by teachers and 84.96 by students with positive criteria. It can be concluded that the response to the use of Inquiry-Based Digital Concept Mapping Media at SDN 25 Lubuklinggau class VI is appropriate and positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of creating an animated video and determine its feasibility based on the results of the validator's assessment and student responses using a scientific approach geared toward solving the problem of the Search, Solve, Create, Share model for class V students. Procedure research and development refers to the Borg and Gall development model, which has ten stages, but only seven are used by researchers, namely up to the use trial and then product revision if there are validator suggestions. The study's findings were based on the validator's assessment of the material aspect, which received an average score of 0.81, the language aspect, which received an average score of 0.83, and the media aspect, which received an average score of 0.80. The overall average of these three aspects yields a score of 0.81 in the very decent category, while the results of student responses yield an average score of 80.5 in the very good category. Based on the assessment results, it can be stated that the developed learning media in the form of animated videos is very feasible and suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Based on the results of validator assessments and student responses to teaching materials on the relationship between living things in ecosystems in class V SD Negeri 35 Bengkulu Tengah, this study aims to develop CTL-based Natural Science teaching materials and determine their feasibility. The R&D procedure refers to the Borg and Gall development model, which has ten stages, but only six are used by the researchers, namely up to the use trial and then product revision based on input from the six validators. The study's findings were based on the validator's assessment of the material aspect, which received an average score of 0.86, the language aspect received an average score of 0.86, and the media aspect received an average score of 0.88. The overall average of these three aspects yields a score of 0.87 in the very feasible category, while the results of student responses to the product yield an average score of 80.62 in the very good category. Based on the assessment results, it is possible to conclude that the developed teaching materials in the form of CTL-based printed book are very feasible and suitable for use in the science learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the lesson plans developed by elementary school teachers related to 1) 21st-century skills-based learning strategies, 2) learning media using ICT and natural objects, 3) HOTS-based learning evaluation. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. The research instrument was in the form of a lesson plan analysis sheet. Data on each aspect of the lesson plans were calculated for validation. The results of this study are 1) The learning strategy shows very valid and high criteria; 2) The selection of learning media shows very valid and moderate criteria; 3) Learning evaluation shows very valid and moderate criteria. This study concludes that the lesson plans used by teachers are not all HOTS-based.

Abstract

The research aims to improve the attitude of responsibility and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 097 North Bengkulu by applying the picture and picture type cooperative model assisted by puzzle media. This research is Classroom Action Research with research subjects totaling 18 students. The instruments used were observation sheets and tests and used the formula for the average score, the highest score, the lowest score, the difference between the scores and the range of values for each data criterion. Test data was analyzed using the formula for average value and percentage of classical learning. The average result of the application of the cooperative model type picture and picture assisted by the first cycle puzzle media was 43.75 in the sufficient category and increased to 69.5 in the very good category. The average result of the attitude of responsibility in the first cycle was 8.5 in the sufficient category and increased to 14.09 in the very good category. The learning outcomes for PPKn subjects on average in cycle I was 69.72 classical completeness 55.55% and increased to 74.67 classical completeness 88.89% in cycle II. The learning outcomes for Indonesian subjects in cycle I averaged 69.36 classical completeness 61.11% and increased to 76.67 classical completeness 88.89% in cycle II. The learning outcomes of IPS subjects in cycle I averaged 70.61 classical completeness 55.55% and increased to 76.25 classical completeness 94.44% in cycle II. The conclusion of the application of the cooperative model type picture and picture assisted by media puzzles can increase the attitude of responsibility and student learning outcomes in thematic learning in class IV SDN 097 North Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study addresses the issues of low activity, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes in science class. The objective is to describe the analysis of teacher and student activities and to analyze the improvement of critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over four meetings in a fifth-grade class consisting of 18 students, 8 male and 10 female, at SDN Danda Jaya 3. Qualitative data was obtained through observation of teacher and student activities, as well as student critical thinking skills. The results indicate that the teacher's activities in meetings 1 to 4 were well-implemented. Student activities improved from 44% to 94% throughout meetings 1 to 4, almost entirely meeting the criteria for being active. Student critical thinking skills also improved from 39% to 94% over meetings 1 to 4, meeting almost all criteria for being skilled. The level of student learning outcomes increased from 44% to 100%. Based on the findings, the PANTING teaching model can improve student activity and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics lessons by using the Regular Polygon learning material discussion method. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SDN BPR Ranau Tengah. This research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection technique used is observation. The instrument used is a direct observation sheet. From the research results, it is known that using the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes regarding regular polygons in class IV students. Students' understanding in mathematics lessons about regular polygons before being given action was 30% and was in the poor category. After using the discussion method in cycle I it increased to 50% and was in the sufficient category. In cycle II, students' abilities increased again to 70% and were in the good category. Apart from that, students can also improve their understanding of regular polygon material and gain knowledge, especially for groups with medium and low abilities. By forming the right study group you can also improve group performance, so that it will benefit all group members. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the interactive learning materials that elementary teachers can use is PowerPoint. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using PowerPoint interactive learning media in improving 4th grade primary school students’ knowledge of  IPAS subjects, especially materials on plant varieties. This study used a pre-experimental research design with  group pretest-posttest. The study was conducted during odd semesters of the 2023/2024 school year. The study sample included all 4th grade students, with up to 22 students sampled through a total sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics test, normality test, and paired sample t test. The results of statistical analysis showed that  the mean value from pre-test (61.81) to post-test (84.09) increased by 37%. The paired sample t-test results show a statistically significant value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that there is a difference between before and after the intervention. Therefore, primary school teachers are encouraged to use  learning media to improve students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Truth or Dare game media on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Kakaskasen II. This type of research is quantitative with the experimental method, which is pre-experimental using a one-group pretest-posttest design type. The subjects of this study were 32 fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Kakaskasen II, consisting of 15 male students and 17 female students. Sampling using a total sampling technique. The data collection technique was a test technique using pretest and posttest. The results of descriptive statistical data analysis showed the average value of the pretest was 50 while the posttest was 88. The results of hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. The results of this study prove that there is an effect of Truth or Dare game media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Kakaskasen II.

Abstract

This manual is presented with the aim that in carrying out practical learning assignments students do not encounter problems that will interfere with the implementation of Civics concentration practical activities in the field. This research is a continuation of the previous year's research. Aims to; (a) producing materials as guidelines for implementing elementary school Civics concentration learning courses, (b) materializing materials as guidelines for Civics concentration lecture activities with contemporary content, (c) availability of adequate practical guidelines for Civics concentration lectures which can be used as a reference for students in lectures, when carrying out field practice assignments, and also in completing final assignments, (d) providing optimal service to basic education master's students. This research was designed using a research and development approach (Research and Development), data collection techniques, namely; interviews, documentation. Analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques. Analysis was carried out on data on student needs for material content as a practical guide for elementary school Civics lectures. The results of the research are needed and material is really needed as a guide for elementary school Civics lecture activities for students. The implications of the preparation of this book as a practical guide for lectures in the field of elementary school civics can be used as a guide in carrying out each stage of activities during practice in the field. Research conclusions; The Civics concentration lecture manual has been prepared in the form of a book which will be used as a manual, and can be published.
