Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to analyze the increase in student activity in mathematics learning by applying cooperative learning model type STAD to VB grade students of SDN 81 Bengkulu City, and to describe the application of the right STAD type cooperative learning model so as to increase student activity in mathematics learning. The subjects of this study amounted to 29 people. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation techniques. The data collected in this study is the observation data of increasing student activity and data on the implementation of STAD type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in student activity in learning mathematics in class VB SD Negeri 81 Kota Bengkulu. This is evidenced by the activities of students in learning mathematics has increased in cycle II. In cycle 1 only a small number of students were active in learning and there were still some aspects of student activity that had not yet appeared in the core activities of interpretation and activity evaluating activities, while in cycle II the success indicators had been fulfilled, namely most students carried outPenerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Student Team Achievent Divisionlearning activities or more than ½ (half) the number of students, more than 15 students carrying out learning activities on: opening, core and closing activities very well. The application of the STAD learning model is appropriate to increase student activity in mathematics learning, namely by providing motivation and guidance so that students can actively explore in groups as well as appreciation in the form of rewards. Thus, the application of the appropriate STAD learning model can increase students' activities in the mathematics learning of VB grade students of SD Negeri 81 Kota Bengkulu.Keywords: Student Achievement Team Division, Student Activity, Mathematics Learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah soal cerita matematika menggunakan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu dan mendeskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang tepat sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah soal cerita matematika pada siswa. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan observasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa dan data observasi model pembelajaran PBL. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu. hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas mangalami kenaikan menjadi 67,7 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 51,51% pada tes siklus 1. Adapun pada tes siklus 2 nilai rata-rata kelas semakin baik hingga mencapai nilai 82,1 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 78%. Peningkatan pada siklus 2 telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan yaitu nilai rata-rata ? 70 dengan ketuntasan klasikal minimal 75% siswa. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran PBL yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu. Kata kunci       : problem based learning, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, soal cerita matematika. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the improvement of the ability to solve problems of mathematical story problems using the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for VA class students of SD Negeri 01 Bengkulu City and describe the application of the right Problem Based Learning (PBL) model so as to improve the ability to solve story problems mathematics in students. The subjects of this research amounted to 33 people. Data collection techniques used test and observation methods. The data collected in this study was data on student’s problem solving skills and PBL learning model observation data. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of this study showed an increase in the ability to solve problems of math story problems of class VA students of SD Negeri 01 Bengkulu City. This is evidenced by the average grade increased to 67.7 with a percentage of classical completeness of 51.51% in cycle 1 test. As for the second cycle test the average grade score was getting better until reached 82.1 with classical completeness of 78%. The increase in cycle 2 has reached the expected success indicator which is an average value of ? 70 with a classical completeness of at least 75% of students. Thus, the application of the right PBL learning model can improved the problem solving ability of math story problems of VA class students of SD Negeri 01 Bengkulu City. Key words        : problem based learning, ability to solve problems, math story problems

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media kubus satuan pada siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 81 Kota Bengkulu dan mendeskripsikan penggunaan media kubus satuan yang tepat sehingga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa yang berjumlah 29 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data observasi aktivitas siswa dan aktivitas guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa kelas VB pada pembelajaran matematika, hal ini dibuktikan oleh adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus II, pada siklus I, hanya sebagian kecil siswa yang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, masih terdapat beberapa aspek aktivitas siswa yang belum muncul, yaitu pada kegiatan inti aspek menciptakan aktivitas berpikir, aktivitas praktik, interpretasi, dan mengkreasi, pada siklus II, indikator keberhasilan penelitian sudah terpenuhi, sebagian besar atau lebih dari 15 orang siswa sudah melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran pada kegiatan pembuka, kegiatan inti, serta kegiatan penutup dengan sangat baik. Penggunaan media kubus satuan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran matematika adalah dengan sistem pembagian siswa berkelompok dengan kelompok kecil, pemberian motiviasi, dan apresiasi. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media kubus satuan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 81 Kota Bengkulu pada pembelajaran matematika. Kata kunci          : media kubus satuan, aktivitas siswa, pembelajaran matematika This research aims to analyze the increase in student activity in mathematics learning using unit cube media for students of grade VB SD Negeri 81 Bengkulu City and describe the use of unit cube media that is appropriate so that it can increase student activity in mathematics learning. The subjects of this study were 29 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data collected in this study are observation data of student activities and teacher activities. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research indicate an increase in the activity of VB class students in mathematics learning, this is evidenced by an increase in student learning activities in cycle II, in the first cycle, only a small number of students were active in learning, there were still some aspects of student activity that had not yet appeared, namely in the core activities aspects of creating thinking activities, practical activities, interpretations, and creation, in cycle II, the success indicators of research have been fulfilled, most or more than 15 students have carried out learning activities in opening activities, core activities, and closing activities with very good. The proper use of unit cube media to increase student activity in mathematics learning is by a system of division of students in groups with small groups, giving motiviation, and appreciation. Abstract

This community service project intends to increase the abilities of instructors at State Junior High School 19 Bengkulu City to instill ethical principles and character in their students via exposure to local cultural excellence. Community service activities are carried out using a mix of lecture methods, talks, workshops (in the form of Forum Group Discussion (FGD)), simulations / practices, role playing, and panel group discussions. Implementing community service activities using a combination of these methods has improved the ability of 19 Junior High School teachers in (1) mastering the concepts / theories of ethical value education (inculcation approach, cognitive moral development approach, values analysis approach, values clarification approach, action learning approach, and value integrated approach); (2) identify character values of local cultural excellence that are consistent with the character values in the teaching materials to be taught to students in accordance with core competencies, basic competencies, and indocators; (3) analyze subjects, core competencies, basic competencies, grades, and indicators per grade level; and (4) conduct an analysis based on core competencies, basic competencies, indicators, and values of local cultural excellence that will be educated to students.

Abstract

This study focuses on 18 character values that are sourced from the heart, thought, exercise and feeling/intention of the protagonist. The purpose of this research is to describe character values and to know the relevance of emerging character values to the development of elementary students. This type of research is qualitative research using a taxonomic approach. The research instrument in this research is the human instrument. The data collection technique used in this research ia a focused observation. The data analysis technique used the Spradley model, namely taxonomic analysis. Test the validity of the data in this study in the form of sources, namely fiction literacy reading book “Ayah yang Dirindukan”. The results showed that (1) the character values contained in fiction reading books were 13, namely: religious, honest, independent, responsible, creative, curious, love to read, communicative, social care, tolerance, work hard, rewards achievement, and loves peace (2) there is relevance or a related relationship between the character values that appear with the development of elementary students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are thirteen character values in the literacy reading book “Ayah yang Dirindukan” and values that are relevant to the development of elementary students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Make a Match type cooperative learning model assisted by Ice Breaking to increase the motivation and learning achievement of class V students in thematic learning at SDN 09 Bermani Ilir. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this research were teachers and students of class V primary school 09 Bermani Ilir. The research instruments are observation sheets, test sheets, and motivation questionnaires. The test data analysis technique uses the average formula and percentage of classical learning completeness. The learning motivation questionnaire data was analyzed by determining the maximum score and minimum score. The research results showed that from the results of the student learning motivation questionnaire in cycle I, the average was 57.55 in the high category and in cycle II the average was 62.4 in the high category. Meanwhile, the average learning achievement of IPS cycle I students obtained an average score of 78.15 with classical learning completeness of 73.68%. The second cycle of IPS obtained an average score of 85 with classical learning completeness of 94.73%. Meanwhile, Indonesian language cycle I obtained an average score of 71.84 with classical learning completeness of 73.68%. Cycle II Indonesian obtained an average score of 79.47 with classical learning completeness of 89.47%. It was concluded that the application of the Make a Match type cooperative learning model assisted by Ice Breaking could increase student motivation and learning achievement in thematic learning in class V at primary school 09 Bermani Ilir.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of gadgets in face-to-face learning in class IVB SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation with Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that 1) In the independent curriculum, teachers no longer design learning devices as a whole because they are already available and facilitated by the Minister of Education, teachers only choose several RPPs that are needed and then developed according to the needs of students that have been provided by the government. While the use of gadgets is adjusted to open materials. 2) The school has facilitated the availability of devices such as laptops, laptop chargers, printers, modems, speakers, projectors, mice and projector screens. 3) Carrying out activities in the preliminary activities, the teacher has prepared students and conveyed the learning objectives. In the core activities, the teacher has conveyed the scope of the material, previous learning with the material to be studied. In the closing activities, the teacher has provided reflection and ongoing learning and explained the material at the next meeting. The conclusion of this study is that the use of gadgets in face-to-face learning at SDN 01 class IVB Bengkulu City has been running using independent metrics and the tools needed include laptops, laptop casings, printers, modems, speakers, projectors, mice and projector screens.

Abstract

The "Berani Tampil Ceria" (Betaria) activity is a program or series of events held at SD Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu every Thursday morning from 07:30 to 08:00. This activity provides students with the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, enhance their self-confidence, and develop their speaking and communication skills. Therefore, the research aims to describe how the Betaria activity contributes to fostering independence among students at SD Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu. The study uses a descriptive research design with qualitative methods. The research subjects are teachers and students of SD Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data credibility is ensured through source triangulation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the fostering of independence carried out by teachers during the Betaria activity consists of four themes: Indonesian language in the first week, arts in the second week, English language in the third week, and religious theme in the fourth week. The Betaria activity follows the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The conclusion drawn from this research is that fostering through the Betaria activity can cultivate a sense of independence in students. Students who have undergone the fostering of independence through Betaria have shown several indicators of independence, such as having a good work ethic, resilience, creativity, courage, and responsibility.

Abstract

The aims of this study are develop Project Based Learning (PJBL) based LKPD on pictograms and bar diagrams for class IV elementary schools. The design of this study was development research using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The data collected is quantitative and qualitative data. Data collection uses observation methods, structured interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this study was qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that (a) the results of the material content expert's review were very good with a percentage of 85% (b) the results of the linguist's review were very good with a percentage of 86% (c) the results of the design expert's review were very good with a percentage of 84%. (d) the results of teacher and student responses were very good with a percentage of 92% teacher responses and 91% student responses. The average N-Gain value for the experimental class is 66%, which means it is effective in improving student learning outcomes. So the conclusion of this research is that PJBL-based LKPD in the context of the school environment is suitable for use, has a very good response and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purposes of this study is to determine the effect of using Discovery learning model magic straws assisted on the students to creative thinking ability. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this study was the experimental method and descriptive method. The design of this study was Quasi Experimental with the Matching Only Pretest Posttest Control Group Design type. The subjects in this study were divided into two groups, that class VC students as the experimental group and class VA students as the control group. There are two instruments used to collect the data of this study were the observation guide and essay test of creative thinking ability which is given through posttest after the learning takes place. The test was carried out twice, before and after providing treatment, namely a Discovery learning Magic straws assisted in the experimental group. The data analysis technique used in this study were analyzed using field data, descriptive, inferential statistics (t-test), and N-gain test. The data analysis results show that average score of the posttest of two classes, the experimental class is 76.67 and the control class is 67.67. The t-test show that sig. (2-tailed) score is 0,003 < 0,025. The N-gain test shows a score of 66% which is in the good category. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence at the 5% level on the use of the Discovery learning Magic straws assisted on the students to creative thinking ablility.
