Abstract

Pekerja bangunan sering mengalami kelelahan akibat beban kerja fisik yang tinggi, yang dapat berdampak pada produktivitas dan kesehatan mereka. Kelelahan yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi kerja serta meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan di tempat kerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis beban kerja untuk mengetahui tingkat kelelahan pekerja serta mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja pada pekerja bangunan di Perumahan Mahkota Regency Karawang menggunakan metode 10 denyut. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan mencatat denyut nadi istirahat (DNI) dan denyut nadi kerja (DNK) dari tiga pekerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk menghitung Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) guna menentukan tingkat kelelahan pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga pekerja memiliki %CVL masing-masing sebesar 13,59%, 29,06% dan 27,85% yang dikategorikan sebagai tidak mengalami kelelahan, sedangkan dua pekerja memiliki %CVL sebesar 35,19% dan 38,19%, yang memerlukan perbaikan dalam sistem kerja. Oleh karena itu, tiga pekerja tidak memerlukan tambahan waktu istirahat, sementara dua lainnya membutuhkan waktu istirahat lebih lama. Pemilik dapat meningkatkan motivasi dengan menaikkan upah atau memberikan hadiah. Disarankan penyesuaian jadwal istirahat atau penerapan strategi ergonomis untuk mengurangi beban kerja fisik dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja. Abstract

In the current era of development, infrastructure is one of the main priorities of various countries, including Indonesia, in order to improve people's mobility. One of the initiatives. The Indonesian government is the Solar Street Lighting (PJU-TS) project, which is implemented by PT. Z as a provider. This study aims to determine the best partner for PT. Z in the Solar Street Lighting (PJU-TS) project in the North Sumatra region using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. PT. Z faces challenges in ensuring that the selected partner is able to meet important criteria such as price, financial capability, experience, and responsibility, considering that several previous partners failed to complete the project on target. Through the AHP method, this study analyzed three partners participating in the tender by conducting pairwise comparisons of each criterion. The results showed that responsibility was the main criterion in selecting a partner, followed by financial capability and experience. Based on the AHP calculation, PT. Organisasi Satu Solusi is a suitable partner to execute this project, as it excels in three main criteria: financial (0.219), experience (0.030), and responsibility (0.076).The AHP method has proven to be effective in facilitating a more structured and accurate decision-making process, providing PT. Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is an important element in the industry to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for workers. PT. X implements OHS through the use of risk assessment forms, especially in the packaging area of ​​the Cold Cutting department. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk assessment form used by the company and adjust it to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. The results of the evaluation indicate that the risk assessment form used by the company is not fully detailed in identifying the risks in each job, compared to the JSA method. Therefore, it is recommended that the company adopt a more general and standardized JSA format to improve clarity and understanding, especially for parties outside the company. The implementation of this proposal is expected to improve the effectiveness of risk management and occupational safety, while reducing the potential for accidents in the workplace, thereby increasing the company's overall productivity and operational efficiency. Abstract

Bekasi Soy Milk UMKM Regency face obstacles in increasing production efficiency due to the limitations of manual soybean squeezing tools that are less than optimal. These limitations cause low production capacity and increased labor costs, so that investment in more effective soybean role Assistive tools are essential. This research seeks to evaluate the viability of investing in a soybean squeezing device using the capital budgeting approach by analyzing (NPV), (IRR), and (PP). The analysis results indicate that this investment is viable, with an IRR value of 8.1%, which is greater than (MARR) of 7%. The computation was conducted over a five-year period. using Discounted Cash Flow rates of 7% and 10%. At a discount rate of 7%, a positive NPV value of IDR2,176,495.33 was obtained, while at a discount rate of 10%, a negative NPV value of IDR2,117,136.36 was obtained. In addition, the investment return period or Payback Period is within a reasonable range of 434 days, thus further strengthening the feasibility of using this tool. Thus, the use of soybean squeezing aids is recommended as a solution to increase production efficiency and support the termination of soy milk UMKM businesses. Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, optimal raw material inventory management is crucial for smooth production and cost efficiency. PT SSI faces problems in managing insert frames, which causes high ordering and storage costs. This study analyzes the application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to determine the optimal order quantity and reduce total inventory costs. With a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through interviews, historical analysis of ordering and inventory costs, and calculations of EOQ and Total Inventory Cost (TIC). The results showed that the EOQ method reduced the frequency of orders from 48 to 24 times per year with an optimal order quantity of 63,155 units. Total inventory costs were also reduced from Rp 279,412,534 to Rp 230,256,690 per year, proving that the EOQ method is more efficient. The novelty of this research is the combination of EOQ with specific variables of the semiconductor industry. Further research is recommended to explore demand uncertainty and the integration of EOQ with artificial intelligence and ERP systems to improve inventory management accuracy. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and reduce the defect rate in products of the Secondary Business unit at PT. AX using the Six Sigma method with the D-M-A-I-C approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Analysis using a control chart (P-Chart) identified that the product defect rate reached 0.25%, with the main types of defects being bubble (40%), stone, drip, knot, and tin. The root causes of the product defects were identified through the 5 Whys approach, which revealed factors such as ineffective raw material drying and inadequate quality control. Improvements were made by enhancing operator training, technical supervision, the use of quality control tools, and the development of SOPs. Continuous control was implemented through routine monitoring, internal audits, and regular training. The results of the study demonstrate that the application of the Six Sigma method effectively reduces the product defect rate and improves the stability of the production process. Abstract

Inventory is one of the key elements in a company's operational success. In an effort to manage inventory well, companies often use systems to track, record and manage their stock. However, it is not uncommon for there to be a discrepancy between the amount of inventory recorded in the system and the actual amount in the storage warehouse. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that cause discrepancies that occur in the physical data in the Carton Box storage warehouse with the data in the system. The approach method used in this research is the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) as a determinant of the main causal factors in the nonconformity. There are 4 factors that influence stock taking discrepancies during the March 2024 period, Of these 4 factors, the human factor is the factor that most influences stock taking discrepancies. The reason is because the physical pallet and transcript are different, there was an error in inputting data when making the travel document, there was an error in inputting the transcript document, the quantity of goods had not been upgraded and the placement of goods was not appropriate. The main cause seen from the largest percentage is because the physical pallet and transcript are different with the highest percentage being 36%. Keywords: Cartonbox, DMAIC,  Stockopname, Supply

Abstract

In the cigarette paper industry, pallet packaging plays a crucial role in the supply chain. It helps protect cigarette paper from physical damage and environmental factors during transportation and storage. PT BM  faces several challenges, one of which is inefficiency in inventory management, leading to unnecessary costs in production and distribution processes. This study applies the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to determine the optimal order quantity of raw materials, ensuring a smooth production process. The calculation results show that implementing the EOQ method leads to more efficient total inventory costs compared to the company's previous ordering policy. For local pallets, the optimal order quantity changed from 3,600 sets ordered 12 times per year (costing Rp 43,200,000.00) to 514,208 sets ordered only 3 times per year (costing Rp 10,800,000.00). A similar improvement was observed for export pallets, where the order quantity changed from 3,600 sets ordered 24 times per year (costing Rp 52,200,000.00) to 338,327 sets ordered only 3 times per year (costing Rp 6,525,000.00). Additionally, the total inventory cost using the EOQ method was recorded at Rp 38,333,333.33 for local pallets and Rp 36,912,500.00 for export pallets. Keywords: EOQ, Inventory, Pallet Packaging

Abstract

Project delays are a major threat in project management that can result in increased costs and decreased operational efficiency. Therefore, an appropriate planning method is needed to optimize the schedule and reduce the risk of delays. This study aims to analyze the critical path and determine the optimal time in the H₂S Analyzer Upgrade project using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). CPM is used to identify critical activities, namely contracts (A), field surveys (B), specifications (C), H₂S Analyzer (F), tubing & tubing connections (G), sample conditioning systems (H), accessories (I), electrical & instrument cables (J), bulk materials (K), and spare parts for one year of operation (L). The results of the analysis show that the CPM method estimates the project duration of 235 days. Meanwhile, the PERT method provides an estimate of completion in the range of 221 to 251 days, with a probability of project success being completed in 221 days of 0.14%, and in 251 days of 99.86%. The implementation of this method improves the accuracy of project scheduling and supports efficiency in resource management. The results of this study recommend combining CPM and PERT with other optimization techniques, such as crashing, to improve project time and cost efficiency. Abstract

Problems that often occur in the work environment include worker attitudes, work environment conditions such as slippery floors and work areas at high places, and the potential for damage to machine components. The potential for work accidents at PT. NSBL was carried out using the HAZOP method. This method identifies various sources of danger. The risk evaluation revealed that high and medium risks dominate, while the K3 program is not optimal. Based on research that has been conducted, there are 5 categories of hazard sources including worker negligence in working, the presence of high voltage electric currents, storage and use of toxic chemicals, and flammable and corrosive materials. Recommendations include increasing K3 training, implementing strict procedures for the use of PPE, improving the work environment, and regular maintenance of equipment. These efforts are expected to reduce the risk of work accidents and increase safety at PT. NSBL. Keywords: HAZOP, Occupational Safety and Health, Potential Hazards
