Abstract

The energy industry, including PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT), faces serious challenges in managing the fuel supply of Ship X, which is vital for worker mobility, due to the high frequency of deliveries (3-4 times a month) which increases operational costs. This study aims to forecast the  refueling of Ship X using  the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) model and evaluate the accuracy. The accuracy evaluation was carried out by integrating the Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) metrics. Secondary data on the weekly fuel consumption of Ship X from PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) Penajam Supply Base (PSB) for the period January to September 2024 was used in this study. Based on the analysis, the SARIMA model (1,1,0)(0,1,1)6 was identified as a statistically significant model and suitable for forecasting. The forecast results for the next 13 weeks, starting from week 40, with an initial prediction of 1794.37 liters. The evaluation of the accuracy of the model resulted in an MAE of 143.66 liters, a MAD of 107 liters, and a MAPE of 8.33%. This accuracy evaluation  provides a deeper understanding of the model's performance, which contributes to more informed fuel inventory management and improved operational efficiency of Ship X. Abstract

UMKM Tahu Sari Bumi Karawang is a tofu producer that produces 20,000 tofu beans per day. As a large producer, this MSME still applies manual cutting methods, which has an impact on limited productivity and product quality. The non-uniformity of tofu size not only affects the appearance of the product but also potentially reduces customer satisfaction. In addition, the limited use of tools makes the production process slower and reduces labor efficiency. Therefore, this study aims to design a tofu cutting tool to improve time efficiency and ensure more uniform cut results. The design of tofu cutting tools uses a value engineering approach, which is a structured and function-oriented team approach to analyze various functions in a product, system, or supply process. The goal is to increase value by identifying and eliminating unnecessary costs, while ensuring the achievement of desired performance with efficient cycle costs. Based on the research results, this tool consists of five main components with food grade stainless steel material. With an investment of Rp 1,466,000, this tool has a payback period of four weeks and can save cutting time up to 77%, and produce more uniform and precise tofu pieces. Abstract

Best Dough Bakery is a bread business that produces comb bread as its main and superior product. However, there is a problem encountered, where there is a deviation between the production results and the predetermined production target. This indicates a problem in production productivity so it is necessary to measure productivity. The methods used in this research are objective matrix (OMAX) and fishbone diagram. The results obtained from the highest productivity value occurred in July which was 501.25 while the lowest productivity occurred in April which was 352. The highest score is in criterion 5, which is the comparison between total machine downtime and machine usage time with a total score of 43. While the lowest score is in criterion 2, which is the comparison between production results and employee working hours with a score of 29. Therefore, criterion 2 is the priority for improvement as well as the main problem in the productivity of comb bread production. The results of the analysis of the causes of problems in criterion 2 with the fishbone diagram show that there are differences in labour capabilities and lack of coordination, irregular raw material stocks, limited work areas, no routine maintenance schedule and insufficient oven capacity, the bread cutting process is still manual and documentation regarding raw material stocks is not consistent. Abstract

The main challenge for SMEs in the agro-industry sector is the low efficiency and product quality inconsistency resulting from conventional, weather-dependent drying methods. This study aims to design and verify an optimized multifunctional hybrid dryer oven model to support quality standardization and productivity in micro and small-scale settings. The quantitative approach utilizes the benchmarking method, focusing on developing a design that is more efficient and user-friendly (ergonomic) compared to existing models. The research successfully developed a hybrid cabinet oven with a practical capacity of 15–25 kg. Technically, the oven demonstrates superior performance: It uses a low-power energy combination of LPG and electricity (250 Watts), providing a cost-effective solution for energy efficiency;  the construction utilizes stainless steel material, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and compliance with hygiene standards (GMP); and functional verification confirmed the achievement of temperature stability and precision (ranging from 50°C to 100°C) via a thermal control system. This enables measurable drying processes within 120–180 minutes, significantly minimizing moisture variation. With an estimated production cost of Rp4,790,000, the oven is proven to be economically viable and highly potential for widespread adoption. This innovation substantially contributes to improving product quality and operational independence for local SMEs. Keywords: Benchmarking, Dryer Oven, Multifunctional, Quality Standardization, SMEs.
