Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of change management in character education at MAN 1 Yogyakarta, focusing on developing skilled individuals with leadership qualities and the ability to tackle global competition challenges. In the current evolving landscape, where global competition has intensified, students in Indonesia are facing demanding requirements. This research is a case study using a qualitative descriptive method. Besides academic excellence, students also need to possess "soft skills" and "hard skills" that are essential for keeping up with the times. Soft skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork are crucial in a collaborative work environment. On the other hand, hard skills such as technological proficiency and foreign language skills provide the necessary competitive advantage. To meet these demands, Indonesian education needs to focus on developing both foundational aspects and specific expertise. MAN 1 Yogyakarta recognizes this need and has taken steps to prepare its students according to the required standards of change. They implement programs such as basic leadership training (LDK) and establish a special student organization called OSAKA (Organisasi Siswa Madrasah Aliyah Program Keagamaan) to enhance students' leadership skills, discipline, and sense of responsibility. This activity is a flagship program aimed at enhancing students' abilities in communication, discipline, and leadership. There are also by participating in clubs and organizations such as the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS), Indonesian Red Cross Youth (PMR), Islamic Spiritual (ROHIS), Scouts, and scientific clubs, students also learn the importance of responsibility and discipline in fulfilling their roles within these organizations.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the management of students before, during, and after the COVID-‎‎19 pandemic at SDN Ponjong 1. This study was descriptive-qualitative and tested by data triangulation techniques. Data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants of this study were the principal, homeroom teacher, student guardian, and students of SDN Ponjong 1. This study shows differences and challenges in implementing student management before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation of student management before the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out in full through the habituation method to shape the character of students. The performance of student management during the COVID-19 pandemic requires adaptation and synergy from all components of education, through a bold emergency curriculum and limited face-to-face. The management of students after the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out attractively, but with strict procedures. the curriculum was re-implemented using the 2013 curriculum and the independence curriculum for grades 1 and 4. Keywords: Student Management, Class Management, COVID-19  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen peserta didik sebelum, saat, dan setelah pandemi COVID-19 di SD N Ponjong 1. Pelaksanaan manajemen peserta didik di masa pandemi COVID-19 memerlukan adaptasi dan sinergi dari seluruh komponen pendidikan, melalui kurikulum darurat secara daring dan tatap muka terbatas. Manajemen peserta didik setelah pandemi COVID-19 dilakukan secara luring, namun dengan prokes ketat. Kurikulum yang dilaksanakan kembali menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum merdeka untuk kelas 1 dan 4. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Peserta didik, Manajemen Kelas, COVID-19

Abstract

When a global pandemic in the form of covid-19 hit the world. The impact was also experienced by the world of education in Indonesia. Many academics, starting from teachers, leaders, students, even parents or guardians of students have to adapt. The aim of the research is to analyze the concept of student management, implementation of student management, and student management of classes. This research was conducted to analyze Student Management Before, During and After the Covid-19 Pandemic at MI Al-Wahdah Sardonoharjo, Kec. Ngaglik, Kab. Sleman. This type of research is field research. This research approach uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The technique for determining informants used a purposive sampling technique. Informants are the Head of Madrasah, Educational Staff, and Homeroom Teacher. The results of this study include the concept of Education management at MI AL-Wahdah which shows planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the efforts of MI AL-Wahdah to achieve educational goals. Furthermore, the implementation of face-to-face learning prior to the pandemic which was forced to turn into distance learning during the pandemic made MI AL-Wahdah have to follow the new system and adapt even though several obstacles would appear at first. The difference between offline class management before the pandemic and online class during the pandemic was in the form of reduced study hours in online classes and no extracurricular activities during the pandemic.

Abstract

The Belt Scale is a critical instrument in industries for measuring the flow rate of materials on conveyors. The accuracy of these measurements is crucial as it directly impacts production efficiency, costs, and product quality. This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of Belt Scale accuracy under various operational conditions. The methodology employed involves collecting field data, conducting literature reviews, and utilizing computer simulations. The acquired data is then compared against reference data to identify error rates and influencing factors. The anticipated outcome of this study is a deeper understanding of Belt Scale performance, enabling companies to optimize their measurement systems. Furthermore, this research paves the way for the development of more advanced material measurement technologies. The primary objective of this study is to enhance the reliability of Belt Scale measurement systems, thereby providing more accurate data and facilitating better decision-making in production processes. Abstract

Waluya Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) manages a salted anchovy boiling operation located on Pasaran Island, Bandar Lampung, experiencing a significant decline in production output due to the high level of spoilage in the produced salted anchovies. This research aims to identify the constraints affecting the quality of the resulting Salted Anchovy through the approach of the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method, as well as providing corrective solutions. From the research results, factors were identified that affect the quality of salted anchovies produced by Waluya SMEs, namely: non-standard shape (31%); soft texture (28%); presence of foreign matter (23%); and incorrect sorting (18%). The problem of the non-standard shape of salted anchovies is caused by the careless salting and handling process. The solutions are to use containers that fit the size and type of anchovies and to implement staged salting. The problem of soft texture of salted anchovies is caused by uneven mixing of salt during the salting process. The solutions are to ensure sufficient salting time for the salt to penetrate evenly into the fish and to use appropriately sized containers. The problem of foreign matter in salted anchovies is caused by the traditional drying process. The solutions are to choose a clean drying location free from dust, dirt, and pests; and to use clean and easily cleaned bases. The problem of incorrect sorting of salted anchovies is caused by the manual process. The solutions are to train employee skills and invest in automatic sorting machines for the long term. Abstract

As a distributor, Rizky Pasar Tengah stores tend to pay less attention to inventory problems, so that consumer demands often cannot be met optimally. Therefore, Toko Rizky Pasar Tengah requires more optimal inventory control calculations. This research aims to test appropriate inventory control for stores, so that total inventory costs can be minimized. This research uses a simple probabilistic method and the P Lost sales model. based on the results of data processing, the total cost difference between inventory control carried out by the shop using the simple the P Lost sales Probabilistic method, for the cv. simple, and cost reduction of 11% using the P Lost sales Probabilistic model with a difference of IDR 72,041,858.-. of the total costs incurred by the shop amounting to Rp. 660,241,415,- in a period of 3 months. Abstract

The paper discusses the role of Islamic education in eradicating radicalism and anarchy. It argues that there are many radicalism and anarchy acts that appear in Indonesia and that military/security approach may not be effective in eradicating radicalism and anarchy in Islam. Another approach is required to solve the problem, namely pluralist-multicultural Islamic education. The main purpose of this approach is on understanding and appreciation among students to their own and others’ culture—including religion—and based on Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) as well as Pancasila (the Five Pillars). By applying pluralist-multicultural Islamic education, it is expected that it will be an effective instrument to develop tolerance and peace among students since their early ages; therefore, they will become a pluralist-multicultural generation. In the long run, various radicalism and anarchy acts in Indonesia can be reduced.

Abstract

PT. ZZ is a company engaged in the processing of crude palm oil, often called Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and its derivatives. The production process in this company has two steps, namely the Refinery Plant and the Fractionation Plant. In the production process at the Refinery Plant, there is often a quality of Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) that does not comply with the qualifications determined by the company. The number of defective products will have an impact on the time and cost of production, which will increase. This study aims to determine and identify the causes of defective products in the production process using the six sigma method with the DMAIC approach so that it can be a proposal for improvement in the future. The results of this research are that the average sigma value obtained from January 2024 to April 2024 is 5.25, and the average DPMO value from January 2024 to April 2024 is 92.5. The sigma value shows a number that is close to the desired sigma target, namely 6, and based on Pareto diagram analysis, shows that the dominant defect is Free Fatty Acid (FFA). Abstract

This research studies the analysis of occupational safety and health on the PLTU unit 9-10 Java Suralaya construction project using the FMEA method at PT. W. In companies there are still risks that cause work accidents to occur frequently based on company data. The aim of this research is to identify and provide recommendations for the risk of work accidents for workers in the company. The methodology used in this research is FMEA. The results of this research are that there are 5 types of work accidents, namely material scratches, material impacts, slips, electric shocks and falls from heights, with the highest RPN being material scratches (24.28); and the lowest RPN value is Falling from a Height (18.24). There is 1 critical category (scratched by material) and 4 non-crisis categories (struck by material, slipped, electrocuted, fell from a height).
