Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Human Development Index (HDI), Domestic Investment (PMDN), and Foreign Investment (PMA) on labor absorption in the Sulawesi region during 2016–2024, This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and analyzed using panel data regression. Based on the results of the model selection regression test through the Chow test and the Hausman test, it was obtained that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate model. The results of the study show that simultaneously HDI, PMDN, and PMA have a significant effect on labor absorption, with the F Test (Simultaneous) producing a probability value of 0.00000 (< 0.05). Partially, HDI and PMDN have a significant effect. Showing that improving the quality of human resources and domestic investment have an important role in optimizing labor absorption Meanwhile, FDI has no significant effect, indicating that foreign investment has not been able to absorb labor optimally.

Abstract

Road infrastructure development constituted an important factor in improving community welfare because it affected mobility and socio-economic activities. To support the effectiveness of such development, collaboration among stakeholders through the application of Collaborative Governance principles wa's required. This study aimed to analyze the application of Collaborative Governance in the road development in Molowahu Village. Tibawa District, Gorontalo Regency. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicated that all Collaborative Govemnance indicators had been applied, including initial conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership, collaborative processes characterízed by face to face dialogue, trust-building, commitment to the process, shared understanding, and interim outcomes. However, none of these indicators had been implemented optimally. Constraints in authority and limited budgets were identified as the primary causes that prevented the realization of physical road construction, so collaborative results remained limited to non physical aspects and had not yet been able to drive physical development. Therefore, strengthening collaboration was necessary to accelerate road development more effectively and concretely.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the sales budget and the efficiency of operational costs as an instrument of revenue control at the Rose Collection Palu Boutique. The main problem studied is focused on the variance between the budget target and financial realization that risks the stability of cash flow. The variables studied include revenue effectiveness and operational cost efficiency. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive with variance analysis techniques to dissect financial performance systematically. Financial statement data is collected, tabulated into comparative tables, and calculated using management accounting ratios to provide accurate interpretation of financial conditions. The results of the study show that Rose Collection Palu Boutique has applied the principles of sound management accounting with a revenue effectiveness ratio of 96% (effective category) and a cost efficiency ratio of 80.4% (efficient category). This finding confirms that even though the revenue target is not fully achieved, the surplus from cost savings is able to cover the shortfall so that financial performance in the net bottom line is maintained. The managerial implications show that the budget has functioned optimally as a performance driver as well as a cost control tool. This research contributes to boutique owners in preparing more precise financial planning and becomes a scientific reference for the development of management accounting studies in the MSME sector in Central Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe effective learning strategies for blind Phase F students at SLBN Gorontalo City, especially in constructing concept understanding in subjects with high levels of complexity such as Physics. The focus of this research is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the use of adaptive media in accommodating students' visual barriers. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through non-participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results of the study show that an effective learning strategy for Phase F blind students is a multisensory approach that integrates the senses of touch (tactile) and auditory (auditory). The use of tactile media, such as embossed props and Braille systems, has been proven to be able to transform abstract concepts into concrete experiences so that they are easier to understand independently by students. In addition, the role of teachers as facilitators in designing inclusive and flexible learning according to the principles of the Independent Curriculum is an important factor in the success of learning. These findings confirm that the independence and higher order thinking skills of blind students can be optimized through the modification of media and methods that suit their sensory characteristics. This study recommends the development of more innovative tactile-based physics teaching aids to support the achievement of competencies in Phase F.

Abstract

L-Asparaginase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of L-asparagine into L-aspartate and ammonia. This enzysne has important benefits in the medical field, particularly as a biological agent is the therapy of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, due to its ability to inhibit the growth of asparagine-dependent cancer cells. This study aims to isolate and characterize endophytic fungi derived from the rhizome of the aromatic ginger (Kaempferia galanga L.) plant, and to test the ability of these isolates to produce the L-asparaginase enzyme. The research method used is an experimental method conducted in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory Endophytic fungi were isolated using surface sterilization techniques and culturing on PDA media. Enzyme production was performed using the submerged fermentation method, while enzyme purification used the ammonium sulfate fractionation method with concentration ranges of 0-20%, 20-40%, 40-60%, 60-80%, and 80-100%. The L-asparaginase enzyme activity test was conducted using the Nesslerization method, with Asparagus as an inducer. The results showed that several endophytic fungal isolates were capable of producing L-asparaginase, as evidenced by a brownish color in the Nessler test. The purified fractions showed varying enzyme activity at each level of ammonium sulfate saturation. Thus, endophytic fungi from the aromatic ginger rhizome have potential as an alternative source for producing the L-asparaginase enzyme, which can be further developed in the fields of pharmacy and biotechnology
