Abstract

At the beginning of 2020 Covid-19 in Indonesia experienced a significant increase in the increase in the spread of Covid-19 which affected the teaching and learning process of all students, both students and students in Indonesia. The impact of Covid-19 is the implementation of Study from home using an online learning system. The impact on students during the pandemic showed much higher levels of anxiety, depression, and stress compared to students in normal times. One of the negative effects that appears on male students is smoking, which is one of the most frequently used anxiety diversion methods. Objective: to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and smoking behavior of male students while online during the Covid-19 pandemic at the University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using Spearman's test. There is a relationship between the level of anxiety and smoking behavior, with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05 with a sufficient correlation strength coefficient of 0.468. There is a sufficient relationship between the level of anxiety and smoking behavior of male students while online during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Independence is important for deaf children and needs to be trained as early as possible so that children do not rely excessively on others. It is also feared that if not taught independently from an early age children with tunagrahita are unable to take care of themselves, cannot get along with the community or cannot do something for their lives in the future. Family support is very important for children with tunagrahita, because if they do not get support from family or the environment will cause obstacles to their development and independence. Research objectives to find out whether there is a relationship of family support with independence in the daily life of tunagrahita Children in School of YKDW 01 Karawaci Tangerang year 2021. This type of research uses quantitative research design with a Cross Sectional approach. The sampling technique used by this study is a saturated accidental sampling with a sample number of 63 respondents. There is a relationship between family support and independence in the daily life of tunagrahita children.

Abstract

Based on preliminary study conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, out of 10 people interviewed, 60% had low anxiety, 80% less confidence, and 70% less English speaking style. Research objectives : To find out whether there is a link between confidence and anxiety to the ability to  English speaking syle in students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Research methods : The type of research used is descriptive type of quantitative research. Sampling techniques using Total Sampling techniques with a total of 102 students / I at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang, data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis using frequency distribution or Univariate, Bivariate and Cross Sectional approaches. Results of the study : Based on the results of the Chi-Square test that p-value = 0.000 < 0.05, it is stated that Ha is accepted, meaning there is a relationship between confidence and anxiety about the ability to English speaking style in students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang.  Conclusions and suggestions : There is a link between confidence and anxiety about english speaking style in students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang. It is recommended for students to be able to make efforts to improve the quality of English by practicing english vocabulary a lot.

Abstract

Reproduction is the most important part of the life cycle. Many new cases are related to the reproductive organs caused by exposure to cigarette smoke. Pregnant women who are exposed to cigarette smoke can damage reproductive organs, such as the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes. The content of bajakah stems which contains a lot of antioxidants is thought to have an impact on reproductive health, especially in the ovaries, where the ovaries play an important role in the formation of egg cells. One of the plants that might be used is bajakah tampala, which contains flavonoids, tannins and saponins.

Abstract

Leaders have their own leadership styles, one of which is transformational leadership style, where this transformational leadership style can provide motivation and change in the workplace environment. Research objectives to find out the relationship of transformational leadership style with the performance of nurses in the inpatient room during the Covid-19 pandemic in RSU Tangerang Regency. The research uses quantitative research design with a Cross Sectional approach. The sample technique used by this study is a saturated sampling technique or total sampling with a sample number of 108 respondents. Transformational leadership styles category good 61 (56.5%). Special performance of nurses category good 78 (72.2%). General performance of category good 58 nurses (53.7%). 56 (91.8%) have a transformational leadership style good and good to the performance of nurse-specifics. 48 (78.7%) have a transformational leadership style that is good and good for the general performance of nurses. There is a transformational leadership style relationship with nurse-specific performance with A Value of 0.000 and OR 12.72. There is a transformational leadership style relationship with the general performance of nurses with a P Value of 0.000 and an OR of 13.66. There is a transformational leadership style relationship with nurse performance.

Abstract

Online games can be played on smartphones that are connected to a network of many teenagers who continue to play until their sleep patterns fall apart. Sleep quality is a sleep condition experienced by individuals to create freshness and health when awake. Playing online games until late at night and sleeping patterns are not on time can affect the quality of sleep in adolescents. The purpose of the study was to determine The Influence of Online Games and Sleep Patterns on Smartphones on the Quality of Sleep for Teenagers Age 12 to 19 Years in RT.05 RW 02 Pangkalan Village, Kab. Pandeglang. Quantitative method with a cross sectional approach, the population in this study were teenagers in the village of Pangkalan Kab. Pandeglang as many as 20 respondents. Sample collection technique with total sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. The results of the study used univariate analysis, and Bivariate analysis using chi square test. Also multivariate using multiple linear regression test found the influence of online games and sleep patterns on smartphones on adolescent sleep quality, as evidenced by the results of the significance of 0.000 where <0.05 which means there is an effect.

Abstract

Tradition tradition Keboan tradition is a tradition of inheritance that aims to clean the village, held in the month of Shura (Javanese calendar) as well as a medium to ask for help to be kept away from all the dangers that are not cooled. The issues studied are: 1) History Keboan, 2) Dynamics of customs tradition keboan Sukodono, 3) Stages in the implementation of Sukodoo keboan and 4) The value contained in the customary tradition. The results explain that the history keboan originated from the occurrence of unrest in the community where they get a strange disease that deadly. Tradition custom keboan Sukodono experiencing some changes due to politics and terpangkasnya rituals that are considered sacred for traditional leaders. The course of ritual procession begins to prepare food, selamatan village, after that many people possessed by ancestral spirits. The values ​​contained include the value of religion, entertainment, social togetherness and economic value.

Abstract

The nursing services provided by the emergency room are very complex, so there will be a risk of increasing the workload of nurses who are excessive. The workload affects the accuracy and speed of service. Therefore the standard response time 5 minutes is an indicator that determines the quality of each service. Research objective to find out whether there is a relationship between nurse workload and response time in patient care. Research Methods: This study uses quantitative methods and cross sectional research design. This study amounted to 44 respondents who were taken by total sampling. The analysis used in this study is univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square (ꭓ²) test. Research Results: The results of the Chi-Square Test analysis that has been carried out, it is known that the significance value of value = 0.606 or = > 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between workload and nurse response time in the IGD RSU Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of hedging derivative transactions at state-owned banks in Indonesia. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with content analysis. This study uses the financial statements of 2020. The results show that the state-owned banks, namely BNI, BRI, BTN and Mandiri, are using derivative instruments to hedge. The derivative transactions in question are swaps, spots, forward contracts and options. In addition, the use of derivative instruments in banking is used as risk mitigation. The efforts carried out by state-owned banks are included on a large scale which have more potential to use derivative instruments. The cost of using derivatives is considered a variable cost and usually large-scale companies such as state-owned enterprises have more funds to bear these costs and consider the economic benefits.

Abstract

The existence of this pandemic has an impact on the world of education, so teaching and learning activities at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang are conducted online using Google Classroom and WhatsApp social media in order to stay connected with teachers in school. This research aims to find out the influence of social media use in the process of learning English online during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang. This research uses a type of quantitative research, using descriptive methods of correlation. The study sample was determined using cluster random sampling, namely students of class XI SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang. Based on the results of the study, namely the use of social media obtained by students of SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang with high social media use as many as 60 students (80%), while the use of social media is low as many as 15 students (20%). While based on the results of research the online English learning process was obtained by students of SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang with the process of learning English online both as many as 48 students (64%), and the process of learning English less good as many as 27 students (36%). There is an influence on the use of social media with the process of learning English online with a value of P value 0.030.
