Abstract

Learning motivation is an encouragement that supports individuals to carry out learning activities that make themselves enthusiastic and happy in learning so that goals can be achieved. Many factors can affect learning motivation, one of which is family support. Research objectives to determine the relationship between family support and learning motivation in undergraduate nursing students at STIKes Yatsi Tangerang. This research is quantitative research with quantitative research design with correlation descriptive method. The instrument used is a questionnaire and the analytical test used is the chi square test. Based on the results of the chi square test analysis, it was found that the p-value was 0.002 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between family support and student motivation to learn. There is a relationship between family support and learning motivation in undergraduate nursing students at STIKes Yatsi Tangerang.

Abstract

Based on the preliminary study, the results of the research conducted by the researcher with 10 respondents showed that the aspects of learning motivation were 40% and 60% had less motivation. Research objectives to determine the relationship between motivation and activity on the ability to read English in students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Tangerang. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative research, with a descriptive correlation research design. This study uses a cross sectional approach, which is a research design that can be measured and tried only once. The instrument used is a questionnaire and the analytical test used is the chi square test and correlation. Based on the results of the chi square test analysis, based on the chi-square test that p-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be stated that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between motivation and English reading ability of students at Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of the Leading Sector of North Lombok Regency in 2015 - 2019". The purpose of this study is to analyze the leading sectors and non-sector sectors in North Lombok Regency. The type of research in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by studying literature and the type of data used was secondary data. The data analysis technique uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method. The results of the study using the Location Qoutient (LQ) method, it was found that there are nine (9) leading sectors in North Lombok Regency which have an LQ value of more than one (> 1), the sectors are the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector, electricity and gas procurement sector, Water Supply Sector, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair Sector, Government Administration Sector, Defense and Mandatory Social Security, Real Estate Sector, Enterprise Services Sector, Education Services Sector, and Sector Other Services. Meanwhile, there are eight (8) non-leading sectors in North Lombok Regency which have an LQ value of less than one (<1) namely the Mining and Quarrying Sector, Manufacturing Sector, Construction Sector, Transportation and Warehousing Sector, Accommodation and Food and Drink Sector, Sector information and communication, financial and insurance services sector, health services sector and social activities.

Abstract

Hypertension has symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, shortness of breath, and anxiety, for the management of hypertension are pharmacological and non-pharmacological, for non-pharmacological use avocado leaf decoction which contains flavonoids that can lower blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of boiled avocado leaves on the elderly with hypertension. Research Methods: a mixed method approach with descriptive analytic population in this study were the elderly in Buaran Mangga Village, Pakuhaji District as many as 64 respondents, researchers took about 20 respondents. The instruments used were interview sheets, sphygmomanometer and stethoscope and intervention. The results of the study analysis of blood pressure data, the average values ​​were: systolic pretest 147.25% and diastolic 99.75%, while the posttest experienced a decrease in the average value, namely systolic 139.25 and diastolic 94.75%. And the results of interviews that researchers have conducted with elderly respondents often complain of headaches, dizziness, and after drinking avocado leaf stew for several days, they feel fresh and healthy and there are no complaints or side effects from the avocado leaf stew.

Abstract

Dental caries disease in children is common and often occurs but does not get the attention of parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of parental knowledge about dental and oral health on the incidence of dental caries in children aged 3-14 years in the residential neighborhood of Wismamas stage 3 RT 016 Kuta Jaya. Probability sampling was cluster sampling using a cross sectional approach using a quantitative method of respondents 113. Instruments in the form of a questionnaire and an observation sheet containing an observation table consisting of the number of respondents. The results of the normality test showed that the knowledge of parents with asymp, sing (2-tailed) 0.00 (<0.05) and the incidence of dental caries with asymp, sing (2-tailed) value 0.00 (<0.05) and using bivariate analysis with chi-square test results obtained p value 0.023 means <0.05.

Abstract

Internet Mediated Communication (IMC) emerged as a phenomenon where internet users are disturbed by the disturbances that arise. This study aims to understand the disturbances faced by students when interacting with and carrying out their studies using the internet during the pandemic. The results show that students access too much information that is not relevant to what they need because of the clicking reflex process. But the students still enjoy all the distractions and don't realize that they are running out of time to do their activities. It's just discovered recently that the disorder occurs due to the limited ability of the human brain to accept too much of the available information.

Abstract

This research is entitled legal protection for minors who are in conflict with the law in the diversion process. The research method used is normative research, namely research that examines and analyzes laws and regulations, legal principles and legal norms that are applied as rules or norms which are standards for proper human behavior. The results of the study indicate that the protection of children in conflict with the law in its settlement involves all parties including the role of parents, family, community, government, other state institutions that are obliged and responsible for improving the welfare of the child, as well as special protection for the child concerned. By paying attention to resolving conflicts that occur by using a restorative justice approach that prioritizes restoration of the situation rather than retaliation in resolving cases of children in conflict with the law and prioritizing the best interests of children for their welfare. Diversion is the best form of penal mediation to overcome the problem of child offenders, because it pays more attention to human rights issues with a restorative justice approach. Diversion is not applied to all criminal acts committed by children. This is expressly regulated in Article 7 paragraph (2) of the SPPA Law which states that Diversion is carried out in the event that the crime committed is punishable by imprisonment for under 7 (years); is not a repetition of a crime. In the SPPA Law, it is mandatory for diversion to be carried out at the investigation level as regulated in the provisions of Article 7, Article 27, Article 28, and Article 29 of the SPPA Law. If detailed, Diversion is carried out at the investigation level, usually in practice Diversion can also be carried out at the examination level at the Children's trial Diversion can also be carried out at the prosecution level then the results of the Diversion agreement can be in the form of, Peace with or without compensation, Handing back to parents/guardians, Participation in investigation or training in educational institutions or training in educational institutions or LPKS for a maximum of 3 (three) months; or community service.

Abstract

English is very much needed in its field or work, both at home and abroad, because there are so many sources of information that we get from abroad. This type of research is descriptive without using a cross-sectional approach. With a total sample size of 126 respondents in grades 1 and 2 at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Istiqomah Tangerang Regency. The statistical test used is the Chi Square Test. Based on the chi-square test with 126 respondents, it was found that the p-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be stated that Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between motivation and attitude with the ability to read English at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Istiqomah Tangerang 2020. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between motivation and the ability to read English and there is a relationship between attitudes and the ability to read English. Suggestions for further research are to look for relationships due to the effects of each of the variables studied, as well as to look for variables that affect between motivation and attitudes between reading skills in English.

Abstract

Covid-19 has become a global public health problem. Lack of knowledge about COVID-19 has led to an increase in the number of positive COVID-19 patients. Health education is an action that is considered to increase knowledge and behavior of individuals or communities regarding COVID-19. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of health education on the level of public knowledge about Covid-19. Research Design: quasi-experimental design (Pre and Post Test without control). Sampling technique: sampling in this study used a total sampling of 96 respondents with different levels of knowledge in Tangerang. Data Analysis: The data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: From the results of providing health education to 96 respondents, the results of the average pre-test and post-test with a P Value of 0.001 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected, it can be interpreted that health education has an influence on the level of public knowledge about COVID-19.

Abstract

The improvement of quality in the field of education is one of the development goals in the field of national education. A person's success in learning can be seen by the changes that occur in a person in attitudes, thinking abilities, and skills. In an effort to keep pace with the development of science and technology, English has now become one of the lessons that must be mastered by students. The research is quantitative with an analytical research design using the populan cross sectional method as many as 149 and the number of samples used. using namus sobin as 109 people.. The results of the analysis using chi square with a p value was 0.000 <0.05,so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning motivation and English language skills.
