Abstract

The increasingly massive phenomenon of bullying spreading on social media drives the urgency of applying computational approaches to detect cyberbullying quickly and accurately. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm based on TF-IDF against the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) architecture based on Word Embedding in classifying bullying texts. The experiment was conducted utilizing a dataset of 6,520 Indonesian comments extracted from the social media platform X (Twitter). The entire data was then divided into 80% training data and 20% testing data. Performance measurements proved that the SVM model dominated the overall prediction accuracy, achieving an Accuracy of 0.8352 (83%), Precision of 0.8356 (83%), and F1-Score of 0.8363 (83%). Conversely, the LSTM model demonstrated superiority in the sensitivity of positive class identification, scoring a Recall of 0.8552 (85%) and ROC-AUC of 0.9088 (90%). In terms of computational efficiency, the SVM model proved to be far more resource-efficient, requiring only 42.90 seconds of training time and 74.87 MB of memory, in contrast to the LSTM which consumed up to 106.67 seconds and 126.80 MB of memory. This research concludes that SVM is the most optimal method overall because it is able to balance high detection accuracy with excellent operational load efficiency.

Abstract

Background: Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) are among the most frequently prescribed medications for managing pain and inflammation. Uncontrolled NSAID use poses a risk of serious health issues, particularly in elderly patients with comorbidities. The Siwuluh Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Brebes Regency serves a significant elderly population with musculoskeletal complaints who frequently use NSAID therapy. This study aimed to evaluate the rationality of NSAID use, specifically regarding the appropriateness of indications, patient selection, drug choice, dosage, and monitoring for side effects. Methods: This was a non-experimental, descriptive study utilizing a retrospective quantitative approach. Data were collected from the outpatient medical records at the Siwuluh Community Health Center, Brebes Regency, for the year 2025. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 110 respondents who met the inclusion criteria (aged 60–74 years, female, and having comorbidities). Rationality was evaluated by comparing prescription and medical record data against the 2023 guidelines issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, specifically frequency distribution and percentages. Results: Respondent characteristics showed that 100% were female, with the largest age group being 60–64 years (53.6%). Hyperuricemia was the most prevalent comorbidity (54.5%). Mefenamic acid 500 mg was the most frequently prescribed NSAID (40.0%). The rationality evaluation revealed the following rates of appropriateness: indication (100.0%), patient selection (89.1%), drug choice (85.5%), and dosage (85.5%). Regarding side effect monitoring, 91.8% of cases required clinical attention due to the absence of gastroprotective agents. The analysis of irrationality revealed a 10.9% rate of contraindications and a 14.5% rate of dual NSAID combinations.

Abstract

This study examines literature development for inmates at the Library of Class IIA Jambi Correctional Institution. The study was motivated by the importance of literature development in supporting inmate rehabilitation, education, and self-development, while the implementation of literature development in the library continues to face various limitations. The objectives of this study were to analyze literature development, identify the types of literature available, and examine the challenges and efforts related to literature development at the Library of Class IIA Jambi Correctional Institution. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that literature development at the Library of Class IIA Jambi Correctional Institution has not yet been implemented systematically. The process of literature development still depends largely on grants, external assistance, and cooperation with external institutions. Based on the five indicators of collection development, namely collection selection, collection acquisition, collection organization, collection evaluation, and collection accessibility, their implementation has not fully aligned with the concept of library collection development. This study also identified a distinctive characteristic in the form of dependence on external collection sources in the literature development process. The available literature includes religious literature, educational and knowledge literature, recreational literature, which support spiritual development, knowledge enhancement, skills development, and the recreational and motivational needs of inmates. The challenges identified include limited funding, limited variety and quantity of collections, as well as limitations in library management systems and facilities. To address these challenges, the library has established cooperation with various institutions, accepted collection grants, and utilized mobile library services and interlibrary loan services.

Abstract

Pregnant women, postpartum women, infants, and toddlers are among the vulnerable groups that face increased health risks during disasters. Posyandu volunteers and midwives play a strategic role in maintaining the continuity of maternal and child health (MCH) services during emergency response periods; however, their capacity for disaster preparedness still needs to be strengthened. To implement and evaluate training and mentoring activities regarding the roles of volunteers and midwives in MCH preparedness during disaster situations. This community service activity involved 25 participants (21 Posyandu cadres, 4 midwives) in the service area of the Lubuk Alung Community Health Center, Padang Pariaman Regency. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests of knowledge (15 multiple-choice questions) and a training implementation evaluation questionnaire (15 statements on a 1–5 Likert scale). The data were analyzed descriptively. Participants’ average knowledge scores before the training were already very high (mean 14.88 out of 15; 99.20%) and remained high after the training (mean 14.72 out of 15; 98.13%), with an average change of −0.16. No participant’s score increased; 22 participants (88%) showed no change in their scores, and 3 participants (12%) experienced a decrease of 1–2 points. The training evaluation revealed a very positive response (overall mean of 4.70 on a 5-point scale), with the highest appreciation for the relevance of the material and the comfort of the training venue. The activity was carried out well and received a positive response from participants. The lack of an increase in knowledge scores is likely related to the participants’ already very high baseline knowledge before the training began, rather than an indication of the training’s failure. Training and mentoring remain relevant as part of strengthening community-based maternal and child health (MCH) disaster preparedness.

Abstract

Obesity is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by excessive fat accumulation resulting from a long-term imbalance between energy intake and expenditure. This condition is closely associated with insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, dyslipidemia, elevated blood glucose, and increased total cholesterol. Magnesium, particularly magnesium glycinate with its high bioavailability and good gastrointestinal tolerability, has attracted considerable attention as a supportive nutritional therapy. This literature review aimed to analyze the effectiveness of magnesium glycinate supplementation on blood glucose and total cholesterol levels in obesity induced by a high-fat and high-fructose diet. This review was conducted by searching scientific articles from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar. Eligible studies were published between 2018 and 2025 and discussed obesity, high-fat high-fructose diet, magnesium glycinate, glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, and experimental animal studies. Evidence indicates that magnesium glycinate improves insulin sensitivity by activating insulin receptors and GLUT-4 transporters, suppresses chronic inflammation through inhibition of the NF-κB pathway, and reduces oxidative stress. Furthermore, magnesium glycinate improves lipid metabolism by reducing cholesterol synthesis and increasing fatty acid oxidation, thereby contributing to reductions in blood glucose and total cholesterol levels in obesity models. Magnesium glycinate has considerable potential as a supportive therapy for obesity through improvement of glucose and lipid metabolism. Its high bioavailability makes it more effective than several other magnesium formulations in improving hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia.

Abstract

Insomnia is a common complaint experienced by pregnant women in their third trimester due to physical and psychological changes, such as uterine enlargement, back pain, frequent urination, anxiety before labor, and hormonal changes. Untreated sleep disorders can impact the health of both the mother and the fetus, requiring safe and effective treatment. Acupressure is a non-pharmacological therapy that is relatively safe, easy to perform, and has no side effects for pregnant women. This therapy involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to help increase relaxation and improve sleep quality. This study aimed to determine the effect of acupressure therapy in reducing insomnia symptoms in pregnant women in their third trimester at PMB Jamilah Dawe Kudus. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design through a pretest–posttest with a control group approach. The study sample was pregnant women in their third trimester who underwent ANC examinations at PMB Jamilah Dawe Kudus and met the inclusion criteria. A total of 52 respondents were divided into an intervention group of 26 respondents and a control group of 26 respondents. Insomnia levels were measured using the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) instrument before and after acupressure therapy was given to the intervention group, while the control group was not given any intervention. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests appropriate to the data distribution. Research conducted on 52 pregnant women in their third trimester at PMB Jamilah Dawe Kudus showed that acupressure therapy at the HT7 (Shenmen) point was effective in reducing insomnia symptoms. This was evidenced by a decrease in the average Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score in the intervention group from 22.88 to 2.69, greater than the control group which decreased from 20.35 to 6.62. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant difference before and after the intervention (p<0.001), while the Mann–Whitney test showed a significant difference between the intervention and control groups (p=0.001). The decrease in insomnia levels occurred because stimulation at the HT7 point was able to provide a relaxing effect, balance the autonomic nervous system, increase blood circulation, and stimulate the release of endorphins so that the quality of sleep of pregnant women improved. The results of this study align with previous research that found acupressure to be a safe and effective non-pharmacological therapy for treating insomnia in pregnant women. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that acupressure therapy has a significant effect on reducing insomnia symptoms in third-trimester pregnant women and can be used as an alternative non-pharmacological intervention in antenatal care. Further research with a larger sample size and broader coverage is needed.

Abstract

Circumcision is one of the most frequently performed minor surgical procedures globally, carried out for medical indications, hygiene standards, and socio-religious considerations. Clinically, circumcision has been proven to effectively minimize the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs), prevent local pathological conditions such as phimosis and balanoposthitis, and reduce the transmission of sexually transmitted pathogens. Despite being a fundamental medical procedure, the accessibility and success rate of circumcision are heavily influenced by the readiness of healthcare facilities and the adoption of technical approaches tailored to the patient's physiological and psychological conditions. In the pediatric population with disabilities—including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities—the execution of circumcision presents significant clinical complexities. Neurodivergent characteristics and functional limitations in this group often trigger sensory hypersensitivity, expressive communication barriers, and high levels of pre-procedural anxiety. These conditions have the potential to evoke resistance responses, such as physical agitation or meltdowns during the procedure. Without specialized management, this dynamics not only increases the risk of long-term psychological trauma but also heightens intraoperative complications—such as tissue trauma and bleeding—as well as postoperative complications due to wound hygiene challenges. On the other hand, the majority of healthcare facilities still apply conventional circumcision protocols that are not yet integrated with disability-inclusive care principles. The lack of sensory-friendly infrastructure, limited pre-procedure preparation modules for caregivers, and insufficient competency among healthcare professionals in disability-friendly interactive approaches constitute major systemic barriers to fulfilling the healthcare rights of children with special needs. RSI Siti Rahmah holds a strategic position to intervene in this issue through the formulation and implementation of an Inclusive and Disability-Friendly Circumcision Service model. This approach integrates behavioral management strategies, adjustments to a sensory-friendly clinical environment, and active caregiver involvement based on the concept of Family-Centered Care (FCC). Based on this urgency, this community service program was conducted to implement and evaluate an integrated, safe, minimally traumatic, and standardized circumcision service model for children with disabilities at RSI Siti Rahmah
