Abstract

In supply chain management and logistics systems, the transportation costs often represent an important part. The design of transportation network offers a great potential to reduce costs, time as well as improve service quality. Hence, determining the efficient solution for large-scale of transportation problems is an important task in the field of operations research, where the problem can be formulated as the Facility Location problem (FLP). The FLP seeks to locate a number of facilities to serve a number of customers. Systematic approach to the FLP have been studied in the operations research literature, yet the best possible result in rapid computational time is still unknown. Meanwhile, Benders decomposition is an exact algorithm that allows the solution of very large linear programming problems, quickly and optimally. In this research, we consider the Capacitated Facility Location Problem (CFLP). We seek to address the facility location strategy such that the location of hubs, the allocation of supplier/client nodes to hubs, as well as the inter-hub freight transportations, in order to achieve an efficient network design system. The main goal of the model is to find the global optimal solution of large-scale problem in reasonable computation time.

Abstract

The large number of vehicles passing by on the toll road, as well as the presence of factory fumes and land conversion in Sawahan Village have caused an increase in climate change. Climate change that tends to occur from this is an increase in air temperature and a decrease in humidity. An increase in air temperature and a decrease in humidity in an area can cause a decrease in comfort in that area. If comfort is reduced, it will have a negative impact on humans, animals and plants. Humans will feel uncomfortable and will interfere with their productivity as well as animals, while plants will wither and die over time. This study aims to determine the biodiversity found in several green open spaces in Sawahan Village and determine the comfort level in Sawahan Village based on an assessment obtained from the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). This research was conducted using descriptive quantitative analysis method. From this research, it resulted that flora biodiversity has a strong correlation with comfort, even though all locations include green open spaces, the differences in flora biodiversity will affect the level of comfort. shady and cool compared to locations with lots of grass. Even though they are both green, the level of coolness that is felt is much different.

Abstract

Sawahan Village is one of the villages in Boyolali Regency which acts as a bridge between the surrounding villages and the city of Surakarta which has undergone land changes for development development. Even though Sawahan Village is an urban area that should have a higher green space area than the gray space area. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing land changes and the effect of changes in the availability of green space for agricultural land as a result of development developments on environmental conditions in the peri-urban area of Sawahan Village, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency, and to determine the suitability of the conditions of Sawahan Village regarding the destination of the 11 SDGs. This study uses interviews, observation and triangulation with purposive sampling techniques so that the data used can be collected in the form of words and actions, written data sources, documentation and statistical data. Based on research results, in 2000 the condition of green space was wider than the gray space, while in 2010 and 2020 the condition of the gray space was wider than the green space. Changes in the availability of green space for agricultural land will affect the environmental conditions in Sawahan Village. From the aspect of the physical environment, land change has an impact on damage to land ecosystems and will have a sustainable impact on the occurrence of natural disasters such as floods and landslides. Land changes also affect the quality of groundwater, where 30% of the people of Sawahan Village are no longer using wells as their main source of clean water. The groundwater discharge in the well has also decreased, from 75% of respondents who own wells, as many as 50% said that the surface or well water debit has decreased. Apart from that, air quality will also be affected, where 30% of the people of Sawahan Village admit that there is a significant difference in air quality after the construction of the toll road. From the aspect of the social environment, 70% said that the environment where they live is still relatively good and the need for community facilities and infrastructure is more fulfilled. Meanwhile, from the economic aspect, it has an impact on changes in livelihoods, where 60% have community livelihoods in the non-agricultural sector which are supported by an increase in per capita income of the population. The effect of land change is of course also related to cities and sustainable settlements. Based on the goals of the 11th SDGs, Sawahan Village is classified as still reaching the Significant Challenges Remain level. This is because the targets achieved have been significant but there are still targets that have not been achieved. Therefore, development in Sawahan Village must prioritize and maintain aspects of sustainable development.

Abstract

Sawahan Village is one of the villages in Central Java that is included in the Urban Fringe area. Its location in the Urban Fringe area causes high land conversion activities in the village. Land function change activities have a direct impact on the smaller site of Green Open Space which then affects reducing tree biodiversity in Sawahan Village. Therefore, this study was conducted to achieve an inventory of the species in Sawahan Village and to determine the diversity and composition of invasive alien plants in the vegetation community in Sawahan Village. The research combines qualitative and quantitative description methods with data collection techniques through field surveys using sample plots. The entire sample plots used were 38 plots with a size of 20x20m, carried out in 15 blocks in Sawahan Village. The results showed that the tree species found in Sawahan Village were 47, with a total of 1,724 individuals. Arecaceae and Myrtaceae is the most dominant family in Sawahan Village with each family has a total of as many species as five Species. At the species level, Musa acuminata Colla, which belongs to the Musaceae family, is the plant species with the highest Important Value Index (IVI), with a value of 31.39%.
