Abstract

Dysentery is an acute diarrheal disease with chronic symptoms, including diarrhea, fever, nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Stool is liquid and mixed with blood that passes through the large intestine very quickly because bacteria have penetrated the large intestine caused by the bacterium Shigella dysentriae. Sungkai plant (Paronema canescens Jack) is one of the plants used as traditional medicine and contains antibacterial compounds consisting of phenolic compounds and their derivatives. This study aims to determine the effect of antibacterial activity of the extract of Sungkai Leaf Starch (Paronema canescens Jack) on the Inhibitory Zone of Shigella dysentriae. The research method is a laboratory experimental method, this type of research is a quantitative research, and the design used in the study is a Post Test Only Control Design. The results showed that sungkai leaf extract (Peronema canescens Jack) with concentrations of 65 grams, 75 grams, 85 grams, and 95 grams had different inhibitory effects on Shigella dysentriae. The conclusion from the non-parametric statistical test results using the Kruskal Wallis test, it was found that sig. < that is 0.001 < 0.05 which indicates that the resulting data has a significant difference.

Abstract

The lack of variation in the use of learning media and learning models used by teachers in learning mathematics causes low student mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to improve mathematics lessons material arithmetic operations class V SD. This research is an improvement research that uses a classroom action research model which is a form of systematic reflective study by actors of action taken to improve their rational abilities and actions in carrying out tasks, deepen understanding of the actions they take, and improve learning conditions. Classroom action research is reflective, meaning that in the research process, the teacher is also a researcher who thinks about what and why an action occurs in the classroom, from that thought, the teacher then seeks a solution through certain actions. Classroom action research is research conducted with the aim of improving the quality of classroom practice, which is closely related to students and the teaching and learning process in class. The main objective of PTK is to solve real problems that occur in the classroom and increase the real activities of teachers in their professional development. This research involves repeated activities, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation/action, observation/evaluation, (3) reflection, and (4) re-planning. Actions in this research will be carried out on an ongoing basis based on the formulated classroom action research criteria.

Abstract

Seeing the changes in economic growth that shifted during the pandemic, people began to realize how important it is to collect and develop the assets they have, for unlimited needs or wants in the future. However, as a potential investor it is important to observe and analyze assets or companies that intend to be invested or invested. One way that potential investors can do is to measure how well the company operates in running its business, one of the tools that can be used is to analyze the company's financial statements. There are three ratios that can be used by potential investors in determining how well the company's operations are, namely, Return On Assets (ROA), Dividend Yield (DY) and Earning Per Share (EPS) etc. The method used in this study is the multiple linear regression method with hypothesis testing t-test and f-test, before using the multiple linear regression method, the classical assumption test is carried out first. The results of this study prove that the ROA variable has no significant effect on firm size, while the DY and EPS variables have a significant effect on firm size.

Abstract

The share price is the price on the stock market for a certain period of time determined by market participants and is determined by the demand and supply of the shares concerned so that they change and create a new balance in the capital market. The share price is an indicator of the successful management of the company, so that it also influences the increase in shareholder wealth. This research was conducted to determine the effect of Return On Assets, Earning Per Share, and Net Profit Margins on Stock Prices in pharmaceutical companies for the 2013-2020 period. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression, T-test and F-test, where before carrying out multiple linear tests, the classic assumption test is carried out first. The results of this study prove that the ROA, EPS and NPM variables partially have a significant effect on the stock prices of pharmaceutical companies. listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2013-2020 period.
