Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the use of slang vocabulary, 2) the use of slang phrases, 3) the effect of the use of slang. This research was conducted in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year with 18 students of grade VII and VIII students of SMP Nusantara Palangkaraya. The data collection technique is done by using questionnaire method and direct observation. The results showed: 1) the use of slang vocabulary was mostly used by students to communicate with their friends, 2) the use of slang phrases was sometimes used by students, 3) There was a positive influence on the use of slang

Abstract

This research is based on the following problems: a) Does the Novick Model Learning affect Mathematics learning outcomes? b) How high is the level of mastery of Mathematics subject matter with the application of the Novick Model Learning method? The objectives of this study were: a) To reveal the effect of Novick's Model Learning on Mathematics learning outcomes. b) Want to know how far the understanding and mastery of Mathematics subjects after the implementation of the Novick Model Learning model. This research uses action research as many as three rounds. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the Class V students. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (63%), cycle II (86%), cycle III (95%). The conclusion of this study is that the Novick Model cooperative method can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of Class V SDN Semangat Dalam 1 students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to mathematics.

Abstract

This research is based on the following problems: a) Does the Skills Approach learning affect the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences ?; b) How high is the level of mastery of Natural Science subject matter with the application of the Quantum Teaching learning method? The objectives of this study are: a) To reveal the effect of learning the Skills Approach on learning outcomes in Natural Sciences; b) Want to know how much understanding and mastery of Natural Science subjects after the application of Quantum Teaching learning. This study used three rounds of action research. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is Grade VI students. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (60%), cycle II (80%), cycle III (95%). The conclusion of this study is the Skills Approach method can have a positive effect. SDN Sampurna 2 students' motivation to learn and this learning model can be used as an alternative to Natural Science.

Abstract

The problems that want to be examined in this research are: a) How do students improve their learning outcomes by applying the Drill and Recitation methods? b) How are the effects of the Drill and Recitation methods on student learning motivation? The objectives of this action research are: a) Want to know the improvement of student learning outcomes after the application of the Drill and Recitation methods, b) Want to know the effect of student motivation after the application of the Drill and Recitation methods. This research uses action research as many as three rounds. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the fifth grade students. The data obtained are formative test results, observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (65%), cycle II (75%), cycle III (95%). The conclusion of this research is the Drill and Recitation method can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of SDN I Terusan Makmur students, and this learning method can be used as an alternative to learning mathematics.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study to determine the contribution of online learning (e-learning) of students in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the University of Palangka Raya 2018. It is hoped that the application of online learning during the corona virus or covid 19 pandemic will not change the effectiveness and quality of student learning, where this is also determined by learning motivation. The subjects of this study were 44 student. The research used is ex-post facto research that is correlational with a non-experimental quantitative approach. From the results of the study using the product moment correlation analysis obtained r count = 0.640 seeing the 5% significance level in the r product moment table with a sample size of 44 people and dk = n - 2 is 0.304. thus the value of r count> r table, and a significance value (Sig. (2-tailed)) of 0.000 <0.05 is obtained, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be interpreted that the degree of correlation or influence between online learning (e-learning) variables (X) and learning motivation (Y) is strong, lies in the coefficient interval 0.60 - 0.799 where the lower online learning (e-learning), the lower the motivation learn. Can be concluded that online learning (e-learning) has an effect on the learning motivation of student in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the University of Palangka Raya 2018.

Abstract

The ability to solve problems is one of the abilities that mathematics students must have in order to become a capable problem solver. This study aims to describe the ability of the fifth semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Palangka Raya in solving problems on the random variable material and the distribution of opportunities. The research instrument consisted of 2 questions consisting of one routine question and one non-routine question. The subjects in this study were students of the Mathematics Education Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya, who programmed the Mathematics Statistics I course in the fifth semester of class B academic year 2020/2021 as many as 26 students. The results showed that only 8 people (30.8%) were able to complete routine questions perfectly and 18 people (69.2%) were less than perfect. Meanwhile, for non-routine questions, only 1 person or 3.8% were able to answer correctly and 96.2% were unable to complete the questions given. This shows that the ability of students to solve random variable problems and the distribution of opportunities in the Covid-19 era in general for routine questions is still low and non-routine is very low, which indicates that students' lack of understanding and mastery of the concepts that have been conveyed through online learning

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) students' mistakes in solving problems derived from algebraic functions, and (2) the causes of studenterrors. This research is qualitative descriptive research, conducted in October until November 2020. The subjects in this study were 37 students of grade XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. Next, 3 students are selected for the interview, to find out why the student made a mistake. The instrument in this study consists of 5 test questions in the form of descriptions used to determine the type of mistakes made by students. Based on the results of the study, the types of mistakes made by students solve the problem of AlgebraIc Function Derivatives are: errors in facts, concepts, operations and principles Factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving problems derived from algebraic functions based on aspects of errors in understanding facts, concepts, operations and principles that contain students' knowledge of materials that have been learned from simple to difficult then students' memories of the concept of limits, root concepts and concepts of inverse , lack of ability to understand students to the material that has been studied such as understanding the concept of limit, root concept and concept of inverse. lack of ability to decipher material or apply material that has been studied in new situations and concerns the use of rules or principles such as applying the concept of limit, root concept, inverse concept and operating numbers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the form of the moral value of human relations with God (2) the form of the moral value of human relations with oneself (3) the form of the moral value of human relations with other humans in the Sukreni Gadis Bali Novel by A.A. Banner of Tisna. This study uses qualitative methods and types of library research. Based on the results of data analysis of moral values ​​in the novel Sukreni Gadis Bali by A.A. Pandji Tisna analyzed 3 relationships, namely: (1) Human relationship with God (its form: Karma), (2) Human relationship with oneself (its form: dishonest, not opinionated, pessimistic, careless and hasty nature, and sincere), (3) Human relations with other humans (its forms: disloyalty, uncaring attitude, evil plans, kind and forgiving attitude, disrespectful or rude attitude, insulting, helping, favoritism, trust, taking advantage of people, and respecting) .

Abstract

Abstract The research aims to develop the integrated sciences learning device for sixth grade elementary school semester I, such as a module, PowerPoint media, Student Guide, and Teacher Guide. The research and development method used Dick and Carey model throughout nine of ten development stages. The instrument is questionnaires and achievement tests with an Alpha Cronbach reliability coefficient of 0.76.  The formative evaluation through validated by the expert judgment involved the content expert and instructional design expert. Meanwhile, one-to-one validation involved a student and teacher of the elementary school in Elementary Schools Group III in Seruyan Hilir Sub-district, Seruyan District, Central Kalimantan. The result of the content expert judgment, the instructional design expert, and one-to-one validations involved a student and teacher showed the high quality of the instructional device. The result of small group validation showed that the students achieve mastery learning of 100% with the minimal mastery learning criteria of 60 and an average post-test score of 82.33. The instructional device of Integrated Science for the sixth grade of Elementary School Semester I has worthy used in learning of the elementary school.

Abstract

The results of the study showed that there was a positive influence of economic factors, socio-cultural factors and environmental factors on the interest of SMK graduates to continue their education to Higher Education. The higher the economic factor, socio-cultural and environmental factors affect the interest of SMK graduates to continue their education to Higher Education, the lower the interest of SMK graduates to continue their education to Higher Education in Kamipang District, Katingan Regency. There is a very strong relationship between economic factors, socio-cultural factors and environmental factors on the interest of SMK graduates to continue their education to Higher Education with a multiple correlation value of 0.88. There is a partial significant influence of economic factors and socio-cultural factors on the interest of SMK graduates to continue their education to higher education in Kamipang District, Katingan Regency. Meanwhile, partially environmental factors have no effect on the interest of vocational school graduates to continue their education to higher education in Kamipang District, Katingan Regency. With the partial influence of economic factors of 30%, socio-cultural factors of 41.85%, and environmental factors of 4.65% And economic factors, socio-cultural factors and environmental factors together have a significant influence on the interest of SMK graduates to continue education to college.
