This study aimed to evaluate and validate the developed numeracy mobile game to help improve the performance of junior high school students on the operations of integers in a public national high school in Antipolo City, the Philippines. The researcher used experimental and descriptive research designs in the study. The sources of data in this research were eighty (80) JHS students, twenty (20) from each grade level, from Old Boso-Boso National High School. Other respondents were the forty (40) teacher respondents consisting of twenty (20) experts and twenty (20) math teachers from Schools Division of Antipolo. The statistical tools used in this study were the frequency, percentage, weighted mean, independent-samples t-test, and paired t-test. It was revealed that there was no significant difference between the evaluations of the two groups of respondents on the developed numeracy mobile game in operations of integers in terms of game mechanics, visual aesthetic design, narrative design, incentive system, musical scores, and content and skills. It is recommended that the user interface of the game needs some enhancements like the controls for arrows up and down and improve the tutorial part before starting the real game or at the start of every level.

The development of the economy must be strategically reflected in the transportation infrastructure. Traffic issues will arise as the econ-omy expands, which will impede that expansion. Even if the govern-ment does its part to solve the issue, citizens still have problems. The study investigated how Davao City residents perceived current traf-fic-related issues and their detrimental effects. The study used a quan-titative approach with a descriptive research methodology. The study selected 75 residents of Davao City who have encountered traffic is-sues using purposive sampling. Frequency distribution and percent-ages were used to assess the data that had been gathered. The results indicated that unlawful parking of vehicles and high volumes of vehicles on the road were ranked first and second on the list of existing prob-lems; in the same way, delay and time wastage were the respondents’ dominant adverse effects. Thus, the study concludes that multi-level car parking must be added as a strategic solution to the ongoing prob-lem. Moreover, the researchers suggest a multi-level car parking plan considering all vital parts that help potential and existin

Using a quantitative approach, this study investigated the impacts of debate on students’ speaking skills in English-language classes at the English Department, Herat University, Afghanistan. The study participants were 44 sophomore students (28 girls and 16 boys). To understand participants’ speaking levels, researchers had a pre-test followed by a six-week treatment of having debates in the speaking class. For measuring the impacts of debate, a speaking post-test was taken. To investigate the impacts of debate on students’ speaking skills the researchers created an online questionnaire form and the link was shared with students in speaking classes. The questionnaire enriched this study with essential information after the treatment. The data were analyzed through SPSS 25. A paired sample t-test was used to measure the degree to which students’ speaking skills developed throughout the six-week debate program, and students’ responses to the online questionnaire were analyzed by calculating the percentage of each item. The results of the present study indicate that debate had a positive impact and enhanced students’ speaking skills. The participants also reflected that debate had improved their critical thinking, helped them practice new language skills and arguments, developed collaboration, and decreased their speaking anxiety while having fun.

This study was examining to produce e-modules as teaching materials in interactive organic chemistry courses using macromedia flash through the development process and determine the effect of interactive organic chemistry e-modules using macromedia flash on student concept mastery. This research method is development research known as Research and Development (R & D) Borg and Gall model with the following research stages, 1) Preliminary Study, 2) Planning, 3) Initial product development, 4) Small-scale field test, 5 ) Revision of small-scale field test results, 6) Main field test, 7) Revision of main field test results, 8) Operational field test, 9) Final product revision, and 10) Product implementation. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 33 statements and a multiple choice written test with 20 questions. The instrument was used to measure the category of interactive organic chemistry e-module interpretation using macromedia flash through the development stages using a questionnaire based on language, material and media aspects and to measure students' conceptual mastery using a multiple-choice written test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the interactive organic chemistry e-module using macromedia flash through the development stages was in the very good category with a score of 3.6. The hypothesis test of this research was obtained that the value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, this means that there is an effect of implementing an interactive organic chemistry e-module using macromedia flash as a result of development on concept mastery. The amount of increase that occurs in the mastery of students' concepts is 66.74%.

The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the model glasser learning based on local wisdom on the speaking skills of SMA Negeri 1 Galang students. This type of research is a quasi experimental type with the design of The One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Pretest observations were carried out on a group of respondents who were then given treatment. Researchers will compare the effectiveness of the learning model on the results before and after being given treatment. The sampling used in this study is a group sample (Cluster Sampling) because this sampling does not interfere with the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore, the sample of this study involved 36 students in class XA4. The results in this study were at the pretest or before the implementation of the learning model, it reached an average of 54.61 in the less category. Skill assessment results students' speaking at the posttest or after the implementation of the learning model there was an increase reaching 74.44 in the good category, therefore based on the results of the prettest and posttest there were differences in the results of the speaking skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Galang before and after using the glasser learning model based on local wisdom. Based on the data analysis of students' speaking skills at the pretest and posttest, it was obtained t count = 12.01 at a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) at df = 35 obtained t table = 2.031. Then t count = 12.01 > t table = 2.0315, so it can be concluded that H 0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, glasser model based wisdom effective in improving skills speak SMA Negeri 1 Galang students.

This study aimed to describe the application of Group Investigation Model (GIM) to improve students’ comprehension of subject concepts and their critical thinking skills and to understand the challenges faced by lecturers while practicing GIM in the classroom. The research approach used was a qualitative method of description involving 21 students who took the course of the Foundation of Education in the Education Administration study program at Muhammadiyah University of Prof.Dr.Hamka (Uhamka), Jakarta , Indonesia, in the odd semester 2019/2020. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documents. The application of GIM in the Education Foundation class can improve students’ critical thinking skills. The study findings suggested that the average student’s grades improved on formative tests. In using GIM there are several challenges that include aspects of learning and outside learning. This study suggests: (1) prior to implementing this model, careful preparation is needed, especially in the learning process so as to encourage students to actively think and ask questions. 2) In implementing this GIM, it is necessary to have guidance and motivation from the lecturer. (3) The implementation of this GIM can be successful if the stages one and two have been agreed and determined.
