Abstract

This activity aims to help teachers at SD Negeri No. 104274 Pematang Kasih, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Regency understands the importance of personal financial planning as well as practical things and basic principles that can be carried out in the context of these activities. Abstract

Information technology related to online business transactions is growing very rapidly. Business actors and consumers, both in urban centers and in areas, use information technology to shop or transact, including transactions for goods labeled with Well Known Marks (Famous Brands) that are protected by Trademark Law, which are traded through online system facilities. In online transactions related to well-known brand products, there are still violations that are detrimental to the brand owner. In connection with this, it is important to conduct socialization to the community, including teenagers who are also very potential consumers of branded goods that are traded through the internet. Nationally, Well Known Marks in Indonesia are regulated based on Article 4 and Article 6 of Law no. 20 of 2016 concerning Brands. Meanwhile at the international level the provisions governing Famous Marks are through the provisions of Article 6bis of the Paris Convention and Article 16 (2) of the TRIPs Agreement. Online business transactions in Indonesia are regulated by Law no. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. In connection with the rapid development of transaction practices for well-known branded goods through the online system, for the sake of legal protection for both well-known brand owners and consumers, especially teenagers who tend to be adaptive to changes in new trends, it is important to understand the legal provisions, both trademark law and trademark law. information technology law as regulated in UU No. 20 of 2016 and the U.U. Abstract

  The Aims of the Thematic Field Practice (PLT) which carried out by students of the music arts study program and English literature study program at HKBP Nommensen University in Dataran Tinggi Village, East Binjai, Binjai City is to improve children's abilities in music and English. Lecturers together with students developing and applying knowledge and skills in real life on the field and in the community, so the students would be able to develop not only in the scope of campus but also in the outside community. The benefits to the community, especially children, are the increasing and insight of knowledge gained outside of the school and successfully increase in knowledge both theoretically and practically in terms of music and English. The method used was the training method and conducting interviews with local residents, namely the residents who provide a place to conduct music and English training.

Abstract

Sexual transmitted infectiosn (STIs) is one of public health issue worldwide, both in industrial and developed country. Sexual transmitted infections control is one of World Health Organization priority because it become one of infection disease top 10 in developed country included Indonesia. The bad knowledge about sexual transmitted disease raise the risk of unsafe sexual activity by 1.7 times. Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan – Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja 2017 showed that 68.8% 15-19 years old teenagers did not know about STIs, neither 55.7% 20-24 years old Indonesia citizens. This onlie seminar aimed to raise the pemuda-pemudi Gereja GMAHK Ramunia’s knowledge about sexual transmitted infections. Participants’ feedback showed that 86.7% pasticipants could understand the seminar’s content, and 93.3% participants agreed that this seminar is useful exspecially related to reproductive health.

Abstract

The aims of this service is to help the women of the HKBP Ressort Medan Sunggal to understand the importance of economic empowerment and practical things that can be done in the context of empowerment. The activity was carried out in the form of a lecture or seminar which was attended by 23 members of the HKBP Ressort Medan Sunggal congregation. We hope, by this activity, the participant of the seminar has new mindset about the importance of women in the context of the household and church and then can generate ideas and motivation also to develop the economic activities in small business enterprise that can empower women both individually or in groups and gain description of the forms of activities that can be carried out economically and understand various alternative sources of funding for these activities.

Abstract

During adolescence, a person tends to be more motivated to explore sexual experiences and if done without guidance and direction, it can cause adolescents to engage in risky sexual behavior. One of the risks of active sexual behavior is Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge about how to recognize the signs and symptoms of PMS and STD prevention efforts to students at SMAN 1 Silima Pungga Pungga. The method of this activity is question and answer counseling and games. This activity was considered quite successful, judged by the enthusiasm of the participants to ask questions and feedback from participants who stated that this counseling was considered interesting and useful.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide training or technical guidance on how to fill out the 1770 SMEs Annual SPT E-Form for tax volunteers in 2022 so that tax volunteers can educate the public on the importance of taxes and assist taxpayers to report their taxes specifically filling out the SPT E-form. 1770 SMEs. This training was conducted online on Friday, February 11, 2022, 08.00-10.00 WIB, which was attended by 64 participants. The implementation of this event started from the opening, prayer and training, video screenings and question and answer sessions and participant feebacks. With this training, tax volunteers in 2022 can be trained in assisting SMEs taxpayers in educating the public about the importance of taxes, how to register NPWP, assisting taxpayers when they forget their passwords, in obtaining E-Fin and reporting the 1770 SMEs annual SPT with E-Form. And the existence of this training further equip tax volunteers in providing the best service to taxpayers, especially SMEs taxpayers. The implementation of this training still has technical problems because the training cannot be done in person because the process of implementing the training is online. However, based on feedback from the participants, even though there were technical obstacles, overall, the participants enthusiastically responded to every interaction with the speakers, they were able to clearly summarize the training carried out, so it can be concluded that the purpose of this service has been achieved.

Abstract

Thematic Field Practice (Praktek lapang tematik/PLT) has become part of the implementation of learning activities for students, especially in the Music Arts Study Program at HKBP Nommensen University. This practice provides an opportunity for students to apply the abbilities or learning possessed by students to be applied to the community. Selesction of the PLT competency field in understanding basic music theory, making students a problem solver for students in elementary school in Lingkungan 2 Dataran Tinggi Binjai Timur. The problems found in elementary school students who still do not understand the basic techniques of playing the piano using basic music theory, namely scales as a learnig references. PLT has a positive influence on the development of students skills in playing the piano using basic scale.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding and motivation on how Medan City students can consider becoming entrepreneurs and become successful by understanding the steps to starting a business through the topic of Business Model Canvas and Business Plan Design. This seminar was held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, online through a Zoom meeting from the Justin Room, HKBP Nommensen University, which was attended by approximately 2oo people. The implementation includes the opening, the MC invites participants to sing, ice breaking, seminars, question and answer sessions, and participant feedback. For the students of this seminar, it is important to understand how to make a business plan by studying the business model canvas and a good business plan design that can help them start a business by making a business plan document. For students, this seminar is a form of training, to train themselves to consider becoming a successful entrepreneur, by being given the task as feedback from this seminar, namely to make a business plan which was collected two weeks after the seminar was held. Although there were some technical obstacles, overall, the seminar participants were very enthusiastic in responding to every interaction with the speakers, they were able to clearly summarize the topics presented and hoped that a further development program would be held, so it can be concluded that the purpose of this service has been achieved.

Abstract

Tears that occur in the perineum during labor or also called perineal lacerations that occur during labor with procedures such as forceps extraction, vacuum extraction, version extraction, kristeller (push on the uterine fundus) and episiotomy. Birth canal tears always provide bleeding in varying amounts. The source of bleeding can be from the perineum, vagina, cervix, and uterine rupture (uterine rupture). Birth canal tears are often found in childbirth assistance by traditional birth attendants. Delivery assistance by health workers with low risk has mild complications so that it can reduce maternal and perinatal mortality (Manuaba, 2013). Morbidity rates due to perineal lacerations include various infections and diseases that accompany pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium (Friedman, 2012). High risk/complication is a state of deviation from normal, which directly causes morbidity and mortality for both mother and baby. There are several ways that can be used to prevent the occurrence of perineal tears due to normal delivery, including teaching the mother to often do Kegel exercises. Kegel exercises are exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles before delivery, the goal is to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, help prevent urinary incontinence problems, and can flex the perineal tissue as the baby's birth canal. So that all mothers should be motivated to move the pelvic floor muscles as little and as often as possible, slowly and quickly in the period approaching labor. The Kegel exercise procedure can be remembered and carried out with activities related to the mother's daily activities. Like when you sit in the bathroom after urinating and this is a relaxed position to contract these muscles, and when you want to sleep and under any circumstances. Doing Kegel exercises regularly can help flex the mother's perineal tissue.
