Abstract

Santri activities in Islamic boarding schools must have several things in an activity such as technical activities, activity groups, and a list of activity events. Data collection on activities at Islamic boarding schools, especially at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School, is still manual, using stationery and not neatly structured, such as in data collection on licensing activities at the Education Department office. Making a list of activities and dividing groups into each activity, resulting in difficulties when sharing data to other fields. The application of student activities in Islamic boarding schools using the Agile method is a research objective to reduce problems that occur in the Care Department and to make activity data collection easier, as well as becoming information that can be accessed by anyone using electronic devices in the form of PCs/Laptops and smartphones. So this application for student activities in Islamic boarding schools becomes an application that can make data collection easier with features for filling in, editing and deleting data, as well as managing existing data into new data in licensing activities. Enter data on students in the activity groups provided and make a list of activities for one period with columns in accordance with the standards in the Islamic boarding school

Abstract

A library is a work unit of a particular agency or institution that manages library materials, both in the form of books and non-books, which are managed systematically according to regulations so that they can be used as a source of information. Nowadays, libraries are often considered old-fashioned, thereby reducing public interest, especially students, because they are considered old-fashioned and stiff. Therefore, I wrote this article to help overcome and attract students at Muhammadiyah University of Jambi so that they can help the library increase the number of visits. This system was created with the aim of displaying an attractive login, displaying student attendance ranking data to attract interest and appeal to other students and also making it easier for students to obtain their data without having to bother asking the library. This was created using the Distributed System method with the result of increasing the number of student visits to the Jambi Muhammadiyah University Library.

Abstract

In the business world, accounting knowledge plays a very important role in carrying out the company's operations. If accounting knowledge in the company is applied well, the company can be more professional and wise in making decisions so that the decisions taken really support the success of the business. In writing this final assignment the author tries to design an accounting information system application at CV. FLORENCE MOTOR. To make it easier to calculate cash receipts and disbursements from the computerized system, Ms. Word, Ms. Excel becomes easier by using the Visual Basic Studio Net 2008 application. So from there the author tries to provide a solution in the accounting information system application process on CV. FLORENCE MOTORS. Namely by designing the application using Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 and designing the database using MySQL and Cystral Report as a display of the results of the report, in this way the information system design meets the needs according to what is used. The results of this program can help in working on financial reports for the company CV. FLORENCE NOTOR well and quickly.

Abstract

The company PT. Astra International Tbk- Isuzu Medan is engaged in the automotive sector. The information system will develop a car service reservation information system in processing customer data of PT. Astra International Tbk- Isuzu Medan. In processing customer data, a media or website is needed so that the public can get information and repair vehicles quickly and accurately as expected. In this final assignment, a special website will be designed that is run with media to make it easier to record data for the company and make it easier for the public to repair their vehicles. By designing this website, it will make it easier to record data and service. With the existence of an information system designed using this sublime text application, the information system must be better than the previous system in the company.

Abstract

Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques to solve problems that usually can only be solved by an expert in a particular field. The purpose of making an expert system for diagnosing damage to Android cellphones is to provide knowledge and information in repairing Android cellphones based on the type and characteristics of the damage that has occurred. The method used in this study is to use the forward chaining method, which aims to determine the type of damage experienced. The input needed is to choose a choice of questions regarding the symptoms that occur. The result of using the forward chaining method is the output solution in repairing damage to Android cellphones. And an expert system for damage to Android cellphones can help novice users or technicians to be able to find out precisely about the damage experienced by Android cellphones based on a selection of damage symptoms, so that repairs can be carried out quickly and precisely.

Abstract

Nowadays, technology has experienced very rapid progress, contributing to all fields, especially for companies. Company activities are basically aimed at obtaining profits or very satisfying results, to achieve these goals the company must know how to do it. One of the resources that has a great influence on activities is humans (workforce) where the workforce (humans) is the main factor in the success of the company in achieving its goals. PT. Perkebunan Lembah Bhakti requires an integrated system (People, Process, Technology) to solve problems, namely: availability of incoming and outgoing goods, the current system is more complex and inefficient, and many manual processes to create consolidation and reports. The hope for a new integration system is a more optimal business process (synergy and integration), to improve data accuracy, information speed, data and information security and system reliability, increase analytical power so that decisions can be made accurately and quickly. With the design of this goods receipt and expenditure system, it is hoped that it can facilitate data input, receipt of goods, expenditure of goods and can provide information whenever needed.

Abstract

The large number of computer users who do not have sufficient knowledge about the initial handling of hardware damage results in many computer users or an institution spending a lot of money just to repair damage that occurs to computer hardware. Therefore, this expert system application was created to assist computer users in making an initial diagnosis of a computer hardware damage experienced along with solutions to overcome the damage. The process of developing this expert system uses the knowledge method with data collection techniques used, namely interviews and observation. While the inference method used in the development of this expert system uses the forward chaining method. The application used in the development of this expert system uses the AppSheet application.

Abstract

At present the development of information technology is very rapid. This can be seen from the use of computers in solving various problems. Advances in information technology provide great opportunities for companies or agencies to implement it as an information system. For this reason, the author chose PT. Astra Internasional Tbk–Isuzu Medan as the place to conduct research. The main discussion in this final assignment is the Car Spare Parts Sales Information System at PT. Web-based Astra Internasional Tbk–Isuzu Medan, which is a tool to help solve the problem of selling car spare parts. The observation method taken by the author is to take and collect data from PT. Astra International Tbk – Isuzu Medan. Apart from that, the author collected data from books related to the discussion that the author wanted to present and conducted questions and answers with PT employees. Astra Internasional Tbk – Isuzu Medan is concerned with the discussion. The author also read several papers related to the discussion material

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the usability of the user interface in the horror game “GhostyGhost” using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The game is designed to create an immersive gaming experience through visual and aesthetic elements that support a horror atmosphere. In this research, 20 respondents were purposively selected to play the game, complete specific tasks, and fill out an SUS questionnaire consisting of 10 statements. This method allows for the assessment of usability aspects such as ease of use, efficiency, and satisfaction. Results showed that “GhostyGhost” achieved an average SUS score of 71.62, categorized as "good." Interface elements, such as dark tones, fog effects, and character dialogues, successfully created a horror atmosphere without compromising navigation comfort. However, some respondents reported challenges in understanding certain game mechanics, reflecting the need for improvements in navigation and user guidance. This research provides valuable contributions to the development of more intuitive, efficient, and user-focused interfaces for horror games while offering recommendations for improving interface design effectiveness.

Abstract

Kaladan Village in Candi Laras Utara District, Tapin Regency, faces challenges in providing administrative services for cover letters due to the use of manual processes based on Microsoft Office and paper filing. This causes risks of data loss and delays in the approval process by the village head. The proposed solution is the digitalization of public services through the development of a web-based information system. This system is designed to address administrative needs, including approval of cover letters, data management, report generation, application submissions, and tracking of application statuses with digital signatures. The research findings indicate that this system improves service efficiency by up to 40%, reduces data loss risks, and speeds up administrative processes. With the implementation of this system, services are expected to become more efficient, accurate, and accessible to the community while serving as a model for other villages in improving public services.
